Got to hotel at almost midnight and the valet took forever to come, once they came they told us our car didn’t fit so we had to find parking 2 blocks away at midnight! Once we got in our room nothing works not the tv not the lamps or outlets. We got moved to another room same thing! It’s 1am we get moved again to a 3rd room. Terrible service no apologies just expected us to be okay with being moved from room to room

Location was very close to the Tenderloin (sketchy and lots of homeless) and was not actually in Union Square. Parking was expensive. Bathroom was very small and could’ve been cleaner.

The property and room were clean, you needed a room key to access the lobby and the elevator, so it felt very secure. Staff was really nice, friendly and helpful. There’s a cafe in the lobby so easy access to coffee (although it’s expensive). It’s a small hotel, which made the experience feel a bit more personal. Great if you’re travelling on a budget.

Although the room and hotel were both clean, the fridge smelled like death whenever we opened it, so we weren’t able to use it. The location was both good and bad. Good because it was walking distance to several bars, restaurants, and Chinatown. Bad because it was right on the edge of the Tenderloin, so you it was a little sketch sometimes and you have to be very aware of your surroundings and where you’re walking because you can very easily stumble right in to the Tenderloin if you’re paying attention.

They upgraded me to a better room - somewhat better, but still a bit unclean

- Very unsafe neighbourhood (on border of Tenderloin - please beware!!). Felt unsafe walking the streets during the day/ night. Did not know about this, till i landed in SF. - Price-value ratio was bad. Price was extremely high for a Courtyard property, and for the area (maybe because of an event in SF at same time). - Pls note: They did not give me Marriott points/ credit for stay, since it was booked through Booking.com

Hotel was conveniently located near the Chase Center & restaurants. It was modern and had a great view from the room. We didn’t have the chance to check out the restaurants for breakfast/dinner or the 24 hour gym. The staff we encountered were nice and helpful.

The room and bathroom was smaller than expected. The bathroom had a stench like sewage/dirty pipes?, which made my guests and I feel like the bathroom was not clean. It could’ve came from the sink, toilet, or the shower, but nonetheless…it was not a pleasant smell. Our shower did not drain properly which also made me feel queasy. $70 valet per night, but realistically, I prefer that over street parking.

The location was great. The room was very comfortable and the hotel had all the facilities we enjoy.

It takes the valet a very long time to bring the car. We pre-booked the time we needed the car as it took a long time on the first day and even then it came later than requested. If you have a flight to catch - it’s a bit stressful.

The staff were lovely and professional, nice foyer and dining area downstairs.

The bedroom itself was OK, although I did find a used cotton swab on the floor which was gross. I found the bathroom to be uncomfortably small even for me (a small woman), I imagine it'd be a bit of a squeeze if I was any taller/wider. There is only a coffee machine in the room and no kettle for hot water, and no simple slippers to keep feet clean which would have been nice, especially considering the price.

The location outside was very dirty and there are lots of transient people in the area. For this reason alone I wouldn't book this place again.

Hotel staff was very professional and friendly. Presentation of hotel lobby and surrounding was nice and welcoming. Close to shops and restaurants.

Area is a bit sketchy at night but that's due to the downfall of the city. Carpet in Room felt sticky, bathrooms were a bit small with little water pressure from the shower head.
