The location
The shower.. was not a shower at all, it was only sprinkles, i couldn t even properly shower because it was taking forever to wash my body. I get that we are saving water, but i couldn t even wash my hair since i have long hair.. Disappointed!!

Staff was very helpful and friendly. We were able to check in early even though it was not promised. When we needed tooth brushes, and later new towels, they delivered them promptly. It feels like staff have a vested interest in the business as opposed to being just "one more employee" of a bigger chain. Location is excellent, very close to a main transit stop. On our last day we left bags with them (in a secured area) and were able to see all of downtown by walking.
No complaints. Others mentioned noise at night and there is some. How much may depend on the room location and the night. But this is the center of a major city and you won't avoid this when staying in this area. We were not bothered much by it ourselves.

Bar closed early, which was a bummer. Union square area has become full of drug use and unpleasant vibes. Hotel was nice though and diner attached had a nice breakfast.

The property was the go to hotel each time I visited San Francisco. They stuff is so sweet and rooms are very nice . Until….
A member of staff, tall make in his 30 ‘s refused to check me in saying I was banned from the property. So the next day I called the hotel asking about what is going on and what I possibly did wrong , only to find out that they don’t have me banned nor they have such a policy as described by the member of stuff on night shifts. So basically in his words they banned me and let me make a booking and then refused to give me refund … how is that okay? Mt 2 out of 3 bad experiences with hotels booked through this platform.

The location is very convenient to BART and Moscone Center. There are also a number of good restaurants nearby and the cable car turn around point is at the corner. The lobby is well laid out and modern in appearance.
The wifi bandwidth was so low I couldn't get a reliable connection on my laptop, which prevented me from working in the room. The walls are thin to the point I heard a baby crying some nights. No instructions were posted on how to use the AC or heater so the room wasn't always at the right temperature for sleeping.
