Great location. Great prices. Close to downtown and SMH. Overall a very nice property.

The person at the front desk when I arrived was nice and helpful.
one bed was 'collapsed'. Room was in very poor shape.. Shower would not drain,...there was literally soap shoved in the shower drain when we arrived. Faucets in shower/bath hardly functional.

The lady at the front counter was nice, and the lady who ran the breakfast buffet was super nice. It's a good location with things to do nearby in all directions.
It was 55 degrees outside that night. I turned the heat on in the room, but it never warmed up. We already unpacked and didn't want to change rooms. My wife slept in her clothes with her jacket on and both bath towels on top of her. I WAS NOT going to leave this review here, but Wyndham Corporate and website gave me no other option. My parents just moved into an independent living facility, so we can't stay with them anymore. We need a place we like to stay every time we visit them. I liked the location, and the price was just a little outside of what I wanted to pay. After the no heat incident, and the poor customer service from Wyndham, I think we have to keep looking for another place.

It was near the hospital where I went to visit my brother.
For $190 per night I would expect a decent place to stay . The water didn’t drain from the shower stall, the shower hot tap scalded my hand, the soap dish in the shower was dirty, the sheets were all wrinkled and the room smelled so stale I could smell it on my night gown 2 nights later. The air conditioning was noisy, the windows were rusty, there was grit in the coffee machine and it couldn’t be plugged in because the plug was too short. The phone was just decorative- it didn’t even have a phone socket! The mattresses were both uneven and sagging in the middle.

The front desk staff who was on duty on night shift till morning. When I check out she was busy in her cellphone and not even looking at me and looks like she doesn’t want to be distracted. when I ask her nicely so that she will realize her act that you are in the customer service at least show some gesture and she replied that’s she’s been up all night and she’s so tired. As if she doesn’t care at all about her job or the wont care about customer service.

We first liked everything about the property especially the pool area. The first few weeks the price was reasonable and then it started to slowly increase. My husband and I didn’t mind because it was convenient for him and I to stay at Baymont because of the location. It was across the hospital where I work and a 10min bike ride to his auto shop. We were just waiting on our apartment to become available by mind March and we didn’t mind spending the money. Once we were moved to 106 things started to deteriorate. Our stay became very unpleasant. From the infestation, to the horrible treatment from the staff I would advise booking to not have a third party with this rundown motel.
There was an infestation of roaches in our room. We were treated horribly by the staff especially by the owner and his wife. They acted like we were the problem. We were told by several staff members that room 106 was known to have a roach, rat, mosquito etc. problem. We would appreciate a compensation for such a horrible experience. It’s a shame the name Wyndham is even on the door of this run down motel. My husband and I stayed there for almost a whole month. We had no problem on our first room and they moved us. Lying to us and telling us that our room had already been booked. The room was empty from the time they moved to the time we left. I would not recommend this place to anyone especially someone looking for a wonderful experience in Sarasota.

The first room had mold in it, had a 1/2 inch gap at the bottom of the door that bugs were coming in through and smelled really bad so the very nice lady at the desk let us change rooms. Otherwise we'd have left. The next room was better but not good. The place is tolerable if you're on a really low budget but.....

The hotel was very dirty! The room smelled like mold,the room was dirty. The bathroom was dirty. The staff was rude. The free breakfast was horrible and the room to eat in was dirty. What a rip-off!

Nothing-extremely dirty and dusty
Had to change the room because the shower and wasnt wiped down properly as there was hair in the tub and wasn’t draining and the towels given had hair. Then after they switched the room which staff was very nice about it, the one we had the faucet from the sink was leaking tremendously when you turned it on.

The weekday breakfast employee was excellent
Poor response to disability needs - Room not disability accessible = no WC ability for shower access. Toilet seat broken & took 2 days to respond with toilet seat. Strong smell of tobacco & marijuana present throughout room. Swimming pool not cleaned.

The girl at the front desk was really nice.
The fact that our room wasn't ready when it was supposed to be, the AC in the 1st room had frozen coils so the room was warm, she said they didn't have any king size beds which that's all that was offered so we were stuck with 2 full size beds which were very hard and very uncomfortable, the neighbors we had were arguing all while there were children in the room even a baby crying ( which is not your fault ).

Absolutely LOVE THE STAFF
Outside dirty, drab and completely unappealing. Rooms dirty, bugs, broken furniture and the tubs faucets are rusted/leaking.
Rooms NEED to be scrubbed head to toe and some basic updating. I’m a 47 year Sarasota resident.
