Tybee Island Inn is a lovely and low-key spot. We traveled with our dog—all went very well and being close to Jaycee Park was great for walks. The inn is a short walk to a beautiful beach--which is great because parking is impossible on the island! Hosts are super nice and had lots of suggestions for eating and more.
Everything was great . . . only suggestions are to have fresh coffee available earlier than 7:30 in the morning (or provide coffee makers in the rooms), and perhaps to extend breakfast period, say from 8 to 10, for those who like to start their day earlier.

The location is perfect, just a short walk to one of the awesome beaches. The garden patio is incredible. The inn is a historic building with tons of charm. They spared no details with the charming decor! The owners are so friendly and welcoming. Our room was cozy and we loved the balcony!
Honestly, only thing missing was a little mini fridge or something to keep drinks and beach snacks in to keep them cool. We brought our own cooler and they have ice available, so we made due! Otherwise truly no complaints.

We loved the location in the quieter north area and close to north end beaches. The hosts were great and provided a nice breakfast each morning, as well as gave great food suggestions for Tybee Island and Savannah.
The only issue we had was getting use to the steps inside the room in several places, especially going into the bathroom and out of the bathroom. Had to remember that so we wouldn’t fall :-)

The staff were great and the breakfasts were delicious. There were plenty of things to do and the front porch and courtyard were an excellent place to relax and wind down in the early morning and evenings.
We were two friends traveling together and needed 2 separate beds. Our room had 2 beds, but one of the beds was in a loft accessed by a steep, winding open staircase that was tricky for this 60 year old to navigate - especially if I needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

(Sorry for the old photo that uploaded with the lighthouse photo) Vasa and her husband were the perfect hosts. I mean perfect. Took care of all our needs. Cozy, warm Inn with a front plaza filled with seats under magnificent oaks decked out in hanging moss. The Inn has an interesting history! Only wish we had seen our hosts to thank them in person as we left but I know they’re busy bees running the Inn. They went out of their way to serve me gluten free breakfasts and see to our requests. All the others staying there had stayed at the Inn before— repeat visitors is a sign of an excellent guest house. No surprise—the Inn feels cozy like you’re staying at grandmas. We’ll join the repeat ranks as we plan to return hopefully in the spring.
The little room we stayed in didn’t have a closet or wardrobe. That’s the only reason we gave it a lower score for comfort. Had to live out of out suitcases for five days.

So welcoming and comfortable. We felt immediately at home. Our room and a couple of others I saw were beyond charming. We had a small private balcony. Sit on the swing after dark in the front yard and gaze up at the beautiful spanish moss dripping tree that the owners have uplighted, it's gorgeous. Breakfast both days was fantastic. We were served an everything bagel with egg, vheese and sausage that wasn't in the least bit greasy, I dont know how they did that! Swerved with a gorgeous fresh fruit bowl with yogurt and honey. Day two was scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon, and a fresh fruit salad with a homemade pumpkin cinnamon roll. Beach access was super close, lots of local dining options. They provide beach towels, chairs, bikes and Savannah is a short drive from the inn. The innkeepers (family) were an absolute delight, even though I was a bit cranky after my 10 hour drive and lousy google directions

We booked the Inn looking for a cozy B&B experience and we got that and more. Great quirky house where you get to know the innkeepers and other guests in a friendly non-intrusive environment made just for that. Great location in the nicer part of Tybee Island with Savannah just a short drive away.

The staff was exceptional, kind, and helpful. The grounds were beautiful, would love to see it later on in the spring—very quiet neighborhood.
Our bathroom left a little room for improvement. the sink drain was extremely slow and the liner for the shower curtain needed to be bleached or exchanged. Personally, I am not all that bothered by such things but I would imagine others maybe.

Very quaint place. Felt very welcomed and the owners were very accommodating and friendly. The Inn was well taken care of and you could see they poured their heart into the place. Very evident they put money back into the place for upkeep. It was nice to be given information about the history of the house. Anytime we asked questions they were attentive and didn't feel like I was bothering them.

Location was great, just a couple doors down from the theater where we attended two separate tribute concerts. The served breakfasts were delicious and right sized. They had a nice self serve section for drinks and snacks. They had disc sets for using the disc golf course across the street and bicycles for use. The outside area looked wonderful, but it rained a good portion of the time we were there, so this area went unused. The common area was welcoming and cozy, complete with a fireplace to take off the damp chill. Our room had its own balcony, but it was not used because of the rain. The downstairs guest rooms that we peeked in to looked very nice.
We were in the Dolphin room, upstairs. There are two rooms up there. The stairs are steep and narrow. Carrying a suitcase up there while maintaining my balance was tricky.. the ceilings are sloped, so a tall person like my husband had to be sure he walked close to the peak. There was nowhere to hang anything, so we used the door knobs and lamps to try to dry out our wet jackets and clothes. There wasn't a working outlet in the bathroom. So we moved a chair to a full length mirror that was near a plug to use our hair dryer and other electronics. The bathroom skylight didn't open and was quite dirty outside. But the bathtub was disgusting. Black mildew and mold around the caulk and on both the inner and outer shower curtains. They should have been discarded long ago. It just seemed so different than what we experienced downstairs, like this room doesn't get used often, and in its current state, shouldn't be rented out.

Beautiful home! We stayed in the “Aft Deck” room and it was perfect! Quaint, quiet, historic, and comfortable. The garden in front of the home is beautiful and relaxing with plenty of seating areas tucked away. Spanish moss covered live oaks shade the garden and made us just want to relax there all day. Breakfast served daily was very good and the hosts are super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived we was greeted with exceptional service from the time we checked in to the time we checked out! The room that we stayed was like a home away from home and the breakfast was cooked fresh everything homemade and breakfast was served with all the guest at the same time to make it feel like a family gathering! It was awesome!
