I was fully satisfied with my choice, as the hotel met my expectations in every aspect and contributed to an enjoyable overall experience. Situated close to the metro, the city center is just two/three stops away, though it can also be reached on foot with a pleasant walk though Naschmarkt. Additionally, Schönbrunn Palace is only four metro stops away. You can find both a pharmacy and a supermarket along the way to the metro station. Returning to the hotel after dinner or later in the evening feels safe and comfortable. Hotel was clean and room (at least mine) was spacious, breakfast was varied, with a wide selection savory options and fruit, there may be slightly fewer options for those who prefer a more sweet breakfast.

Great value for a nice, clean hotel near the center of Vienna. Easy walking distance to lots of great sites and easy access to public transportation if you need to go farther. We got the room with three twin beds, which met our needs for this stay. The staff was great -- our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived, so they gave us free drink vouchers at their bar for while we waited (only 15 min).
No complaints at all about the hotel itself. This isn't the hotel's fault, but there's lots of construction nearby with sidewalk barriers set up all around. Not terribly welcoming, but it doesn't impact access to the hotel.

First night we were told we could not eat there because we did not make a reservation.
We spoke to front desk and they spoke to kitchen and we were served.
We were told the next evening we absolutely would not be able to eat dinner there. They were full of large grouos. The kitchen could not handle any more people.

The toilet got clogged even though I didn’t use that much paper — but okay, my fault. I reported it first thing in the morning, and the receptionist wrote it down. When we returned at night, the toilet still hadn’t been fixed and the hotel hadn’t informed us in any way. When I went to the reception, they told me they didn’t have a technician, didn’t have a replacement room, and handed me a bucket and a plunger so I could deal with it myself. The plunger didn’t help, and we were left without a working toilet for the entire night and the morning of our departure! Thank you very much for such a service in a 4-star hotel! If it weren’t for this experience, the rating could have been much higher

This was my second time staying at this hotel. I would happily stay a third time as well, because of the extremely convenient location! Everything is very easy reachable; the underground station is just a minute from the hotel. Staff at the reception is very polite and helpful.
The cleaners do a great job, but they are noisy from 8 am and knock on the door, even though check-out is till 12:00! It is very annoying! The same situation happened both the first and second time of my stay. So, it seems that this is their usual procedure. :(

Very clean, well-maintained hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and functional. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a wide range of fresh rolls, cheese, cold cuts, eggs, bacon, veggies, fruit and yogurt to choose from each morning. Nice bar and lobby area. Location just across from the U4 subway station (Pilgramgasse) was also a plus.
This isn't necessarily a complaint, but for the solo traveler, it is a very large tourist hotel that hosts big bus tour groups from all over. So not a small, intimate establishment. But maybe you'll meet some interesting people! Also, my room had a bathtub, but you couldn't really take a shower in it. I didn't really note this when I booked, but it's something to double-check if you really prefer to shower rather than bathe.
