The price is affordable and the location is good – about a 10-minute walk from Westbahnhof and Mariahilfer Straße, with a tram station nearby. Rooms are clean, stuff is halpfull and friendly.
The hotel feels cheap both directly and indirectly: almost no amenities in the room (only a TV), lack of power sockets which is very inconvenient for charging a phone.The elevator is rather uncomfortable, with a very small cabin and a heavy door. The breakfast was fine, but the variety could be expanded.

The hotel is not well kept, nothing big invested in it for a few decades, probably. The furniture in the room was defective, the pillows were bumpy, no mini fridge, TVs purely for decoration. Very old fashioned at a high rate. Someone was smoking in the room at 4a.m. and the fire alarm went off, we were evacuated and this is a hotel without non-stop reception, so we were kind of on our own. There were items dropped by previous guests under our beds, so not very extensive cleaning being done.

Very good location. Good price for Vienna. The staff was very polite. Fast check-in and check-out.
The doors won’t stop slamming. That’s the normal way they close, they just slam. I can’t even count the times I jumped in my bed in the early mornings because of the doors slamming.
The rooms need some renovation. The hair dryer in the bathroom was broken and it sucked to find this out after I had already washed my long hair.

Very good location. The walk to the city center is about 20-30 minutes. There's a tram stop and the metro nearby (to the city center is about 10 minutes). There are the restaurants, a shopping mall and other stores nearby. This part of the city looks safe. The room is spacious (the bedroom was in a separate room) and clean, snow-white bed linen and towels. At the end of October the room was hot, we slept with the window open.
Parking in the same building (19 euro).

Overall we liked the hotel and the downsides that I will describe would not prevent us from staying at this hotel again.
There was no WI-FI in the room. At all. The reception said that the WI-FI would be available soon, but after three days it still hadn’t appeared.
Everything inside (beds, tables, floors) is old and unkempt.
We had to wait for a table at breakfast. Food that ran out wasn't replenished immediately.
The garage is small and a parking place is not guaranteed when you book.

Very thin room walls - I could easily hear my neighbours’ conversations and was *very* lucky the baby next door fell asleep quickly and wasn’t too fussy at night (well done parents!!).

Its of course not a 5 star hotel but the beds were comfortable, the towels were changed every day.
The floor wasnt cleaned under the bed and that was of course a negative point, it had 2 tissues, a receipt and lots of dust. However the rest of the room was clean. The curtains were transparent and light goes trough them at 6am. Those are things i think that could be easily fixed. Its still a good bedroom.

I like spatious room, comfy bed and reasonable price for stay.
Sound isolation could be better, but we had quiet neighbors so we had great sleep. The hotel is a bit lower in quality of furniture and carpets, but this was expected.
