I believe there are employees in this hotel, who are nice, but unfortunately because of their colleagues, who are thieves, their image is suffering too.
The cleaner went through our personal items and stole all our money while we were at the breakfast.
FULL STORY
Our stay at the hotel took a terrible turn when the cleaner went through our personal belongings and stole all our cash while we were at breakfast. We had paid for our stay in cash upon our late arrival on March 27th, a fact that seemed to be noticed by several hotel employees.
The next morning, March 28th, we went for breakfast. I recall a strange incident where a staff member seemed overly concerned when I was briefly outside the main dining area. Returning to our room after breakfast, we immediately noticed signs that our belongings had been disturbed – our passports were opened and stacked differently than we had left them, and our diaper bag was in disarray.
It wasn't until we were at a nearby fruit market and opened my wallet that the horrifying reality hit us: it was completely empty. My husband checked his inner jacket pocket – his wallet was also empty, all our money gone.
We immediately returned to the hotel and contacted the police. We spent the entire day explaining what had happened, unable to re-enter our room. The electronic key log confirmed: the only person who had entered our room while we were at breakfast was the cleaner. We returned just ten minutes after she had gone through our things and stolen our money.
The hotel's response to this serious crime has been appalling. The only compensation offered for our stolen money and ruined vacation, including my birthday on March 29th which became a deeply upsetting experience, was a free breakfast for me for my birthday only (the rest had to pay).
To our dismay, the hotel chain baord has shown complete disregard for this situation, and the staff member(s) who stole our money continues to be employed there. This entire incident, including the theft, has been officially reported to the Austrian police.
The cleaner wipes our your wallets instead of the room corners (see pictures).

We have chosen the bohemian area of Viena, but if you travel with kids you should avoid this area because it's very sexed oriented. I liked it, but it's just a warning. The room was a bit small and access to rooms somewhat confusing at first.

The parking option was a major plus for us, the garage is right below the hotel with direct access to the reception. Although not fully free, there is a discount for hotel guests.

The location is very nice but a 10-15 minute walk to the first Subway Station and City Center. Although not a major downside for us, this needs to be taken into account.

Location is great, very central with many public transport options around.
I don’t think I’ve ever had such a terrible night in a hotel. Our room was on the ground floor, and it felt like all the water pipes from the entire building ran through it. Every time another guest took a shower or used the toilet, we could hear it loud and clear - right by the head of the bed. The walls are paper-thin; we could hear everything happening in the hallway, from conversations to footsteps. There was absolutely no soundproofing.
Honestly, I’m surprised no one has complained about this before. In my overtired state, I find it almost insulting to offer what feels like a converted storage room as a guest room.
The hotel is fine overall, but I would recommend avoiding rooms 101–103.

We didn't pay for the breakfast, but it looked plentiful and delicious with a really nice spread. The employees at the front desk were super helpful, recommending three different restaurants to us - we tried two of them and they both were AMAZING! The one, Schilling, was just down the street, so that was very handy after a long day of travel.
30-minute walk into the city center was fine; I just wish it would've been closer. Also the room was a little pricey - we only could afford to stay during the week because the weekend was too expensive. No kettle in the room so we couldn't make tea - they only had a coffee maker.

We chose this hotel based on the reviews on Google and Booking.com. But when we arrived in Vienna and at this hotel, the quality and services were spectacular! The warm hospitality and care by the staff were exceptional. The room service was flawless and beds and pillows were just like home! We ended up extending our stay by an additional day; and wanted to stay back another day as well but the rooms were full - which speaks a lot already on why they are so much in demand! Trams, metro lines, cafes, shops are all just within 5-10 minutes of walking distance. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and spacious. It was our anniversary and the staff even left us with a lovely hand written card and sweets! Very thoughtful of them!

We stayed for four nights and really enjoyed the hotel. It is located in a nice neighborhood with a lot of cafes, restaurants, bakeries. There are several tram lines that connect to metro, so it is really easy to get to any other part of the city.

I stayed at The Weekend Hotel for 2 nights while on holiday. The location is great, the hotel is super quiet (I did not give it 'excellent' but 'good' rating, cz there were some repairs done in the corridor, outside my door, early one morning, but this did not last), the staff are lovely (when it started to rain, they had umbrellas on hand). The decor is great and amusing - really clever; there is elevator. I did not have breakfast, so cannot comment but the courtyard has a lovely seating area for drinks and wines are fantastic. I would definitively stay in the same hotel again.
I liked everything about this hotel. If I were to name something is that rooms are not large so if someone has a lot of luggage this may be an issue. Also, the outside door to the building is really heavy - if you have a lot of bags it's a bit of a pain to open - but these are not big things.

The location is excellent, an easy walk and you're in the centre of everything (great public transport links also very close by). There were lots of lovely bars, restaurants, cafés and shops nearby. The room was really comfortable, with great air conditioning, and it was very clean. The staff were really nice and made everything very easy and pleasant.

Very small room, no phone in the room, which means that if you need something, you have to walk all the way to the reception. At first, there was no coffee machine; then we asked for it they brought us a coffee machine, but of very bad coffee quality. Not recommend it.

I think overall it is a great option to know the city. The staff was very kind, special mention to Ivan who was very gentle from the beginning. The breakfast has everything you need and the location is not very far from the city centre by bus or train so it is up to the guests but for us was the perfect spot.
We stayed three people in a room but the bed for the third person was very hard and uncomfortable. I think it is a great idea how they use the furniture as another bed but they should consider somehow to make it comfortable.

Excellent stay!
The hotel was very clean and the service was excellent. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a large, spotless shower.
The location is great – not right in the center but still very close, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and entertainment options nearby. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the city center, and there’s convenient public transportation right next to the hotel.
The breakfast was rich, delicious, and absolutely worth the extra cost.
Everything was perfect – highly recommended! ?
The only thing to mention is that the sound insulation from the hallway could be better – you can hear people walking or talking outside the room. However, it didn’t disturb our sleep or stay.

Room was very clean and sofa bed was made up on arrival for kids as per request. Toilets were clean and good. Room size was not that big but it was decent and great value for money for a family of 4.
