Lovely room, comfortable and well equipped with great view of the Belvedere. No coffee machine in room which was a shame. Good restaurant and bar menu offering selection of local wines. Good breakfast but the hot selection looked a bit neglected and there was no toaster. Gym and spa were well equipped, even had Peloton bike - unfortunately I was unable to use it as they didn’t have convertible peddles with shoe cages (cleats only). My room was right next to the 24h gym which was very convenient, but less so at 4am when guests are using the treadmill - the reverberations were impossible to sleep through!

The wifi was terrible in the room and in other parts of the hotel. Despite complaining many times nothing was done and the front office manager was really not good. His explanation was that a lot of people are using wifi and hence it was weak, This was a really unacceptable explanation. The hot water was not okay and during my last day I had to have a bath with cold water. When I complained to the same front office manager, he simply said that there were too many guests using hot water and hence it was cold and that I must keep it running till hot water comes. It did not happen and this is not the first time that I am using hot water in my life. Why do you have such front office managers and this is not the first time that I am staying in hotels and am travelling a lot. There is no telephone landline in the room, so in case I need to call the reception for anything I have to go down? Impossible. I got a message for automatic check out on mail and when I tried it did not work, so I had to go down for the check out. I asked for a second room key card as I wanted to insert in into the electricity slot and got it. I was then out for work and when I got back in the evening, it was gone and I had to go down to get another one. I have mobile devices which I put on charge when I am out and hence need the second key card. At the time of check in I was asked to tell them in case I did not want my room cleaned? Why ? I have never had such questions asked of me? The staff were friendly but the front office manager was really not a hotelier as answers such as a lot of people are using wifi and hence it was weak and that hot water was not coming since a lot of people are using hot water is absolutely absurd. You must really look into his attitude. I am also in the hospitality business and am not the fussy type, but this experience was simply not amusing. Also at the time of check out when I asked the front office manager to waive my parking charges as a gesture he simply refused

The hotel exceeded our expectations, given some of the negative reviews. Our receptionist Andras was really helpful and the rest of the staff was really friendly. Our room had an amazing view of the palace garden and the location was perfect. The breakfast buffet was one of the best ones I have experienced in Europe for this price range. We weren't aware that there was a spa area, so we were pleasantly surprised. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.
There was a bit of wear and tear in some of the furniture, causing the room to look dusty even though it wasn't. Also, there was a small gap in the shower door causing some of the water leaking into the bathroom floor, but not a huge deal.

I chose the Lindner Hotel Vienna Am Belvedere because it was close to a work event I was attending. The hotel met expectations: it’s modern, clean, the staff is friendly, and it has facilities like a gym and sauna — although I didn’t use them, they looked well maintained.
The room was clean, and all amenities were working properly. The only downside for me was the bed, which felt too soft and sagged slightly in the center. I didn’t raise the issue with the hotel — perhaps I should have asked to switch rooms, but I’m not sure if all the beds are the same.
The Wi-Fi didn’t work very well in the room, so I ended up using my mobile hotspot instead. I didn’t report it since I found a quick workaround and I’m not the type of guest who complains if I can sort things out myself. It worked well in other areas.
Other than that, my stay was good. The breakfast buffet was generous and tasty. I stayed for four nights, and thanks to the great location, I was able to explore Vienna in the evenings after my event. There’s a tram stop just a few steps away, and most tourist spots were only 5–10 minutes away by Uber — or even walking.
Bed could have been more comfortable. Spotty Wi-Fi in the room.

Beautiful room and the location was perfect. Right next to the Belvedere palace with it's amazing art collection. Gustav Klimt The Kiss is housed there. Breakfast was outstanding! Safe underground parking if you have a car. We had stayed before at a Lindner hotel in Prague, and loved it. This location certainly did not disappoint either. Would highly recommend staying here!

The size of the room was good, it was wide and the baby could crawl easily. We had enough space.

The baby bed was provided but it was wooden. And there were no protection covers on the sides, so the baby hit his head everytime he turned while sleeping at night. I asked for 2 days and finally the bed was replaced with a different type.
The central cooling system was too cold. I asked to reduce it but there was nothing to be done.
The room was freezing in july. And unfortunately the baby got cold, he got sick. At night we slept covering ourselves and it was so so cold.
The last night i remember there was a guy in the reception and he brought us extra blanket to cover because really the cold was unbearable and the baby was coughing. I was really angry.
Even though i didnt ask for some reason the iron and the ironing table was left in our room. I dont know why.
When we arrived the bathroom facilities were empty, there was no hair conditioner, no shower gel. Of course i realised it in the shower already.
Again i had to wait for 2 days for refill. I dont know why it took so long.

The Lindner Hotel Vienna Am Belvedere was an excellent choice for my stay in Vienna. The location is ideal, right next to the beautiful Belvedere Palace and with easy access to public transport, which made exploring the city very convenient.
The room was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. I also appreciated the high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, with a wide variety to choose from. Staff were welcoming, professional, and always helpful.

The room temperature was set for the entire hotel at 21.5 and could not change it. The A/C did not work and on the top of that the house cleaning left the window opened. Temperature outside 10 C. I got a very bad upper respiratory infection: chills/fever, cough and extreme throat pain. I am still getting treated.
The carpet in the room and hallway is old and dusty. They do not even put plastic bags in the trash. Sheets do not get changed. Only one elevator working and everyone is waiting in long line to get in. Bar staff very rude. Room do not even get a bottle of water (even per pay). I was told to drink tap water that is very good. Internet did not work. They offer me a room router instead.

One room was missing water and robes, slippers, had to request additional from staff. Also conditioning was very loud, especially during the night and hard to turn off (remote was missing).

Location, staff, breakfast were all excellent. Hotel is open 24 hours. Fitness is open 24 hours. Tv has chromecast.
Room was not perfectly clean, the room layout is a bit weird with the toilet and open space. The chairs were old fashioned and not very comfortable. Tv quality was OK. There were no bath robes and slippers in the room. Sauna is active only after 5 PM.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff, lovely breakfast, excellent location; Belevedere next door, tram line for Ringstrasse right outside the door; direct train to airport 5 mins walk down the road; no need to book the very expensive green train; just get a public transport pass; 24hr/48hrs/72hrs; very simple and great value!

Excellent location for seeing Vienna by foot or trams. Nice breakfast in the morning.
Could not control the temperature in the room!! It got way too hot. Control in the room did nothing?.
Room too hot, taking cups and plates away too quickly so you have to use new ones is quite wasteful but notice in the room to hang up towels to reuse. Overall inconsistent regarding the environment. ?

Breakfast was wonderful! Great selection of traditional European breakfast items and more. Breakfast room was specious and clean with very nice, attentive Ukrainian staff working there.
Location of this hotel is perfect for all Vienna's attractions. We had a view of Belvedere Palace! Public transportation is also very convenient right by the hotel.

If you get a room facing the front street, it can get noisy at times.

Air conditioning not working. Was running for hours and temperature was not going down at all. No privacy in shower with only a half glass wall and no door. A full frosted glass door, shower curtain or a full bathroom door would allow for better privacy.

The breakfast was excellent. The bar area was really lovely and the bar man was very attentive. The bed was so spacious and the pillows were so comfy.
It would be nice to see the lovely bar when you walked in during the day. The curtain should be replaced with a glass sliding door.

Great breakfast with a wide selection of food and beverages. Facilities - bathroom, bedroom, sheets and toilet were clean. Two different tram stops (Unteres Belvedere, Rennweg) are at walking distance. There is a supermarket (Lidl), and train station (Rennweg) available nearby as well, and a number of dining options.
The metro stop Karlsplatz is approximately 7 minutes from Unterest Belvedere, and from there you can ride to go to multiple tourist destinations of Vienna.
Going to Belvedere Palace around 7 in the morning was a great decision before having a long leisurely breakfast at the end of your stay before checking out!
Only wished the sofa bed was as comfortably soft as the bed. That was the only thing lacking.
Price was high; it didn't quite meet with the accommodation. We came on a May holiday weekend so it was definitely pricy. It would have been nice if it was a bit more affordable.

Overall decent enough, but nothing leapt out at me as particularly impressive. The hotel was clean, fairly comfortable and the location reasonable given tram links. Edit on 26 May to add that the reception staff were very good.
Two paper cups and two sachets of coffee, and no biscuits. Poor for the price. Open plan bathroom with only the toilet being private was not to my liking. Bed quite uncomfortable (though very big) and a lot of traffic noise meant you couldn't open the window.
