The location
I had just come from Graz staying downtown at a 1800s property and it was excellent. There was a hot pot and little packets of coffee and tea and water. Those are nice touches in any room that I think can be added a very little cost. The hotel room itself was dilapidated and not very clean, although the bathrooms were clean. I feel you can still stay with the age of the hotel in style and still be clean. I would not stay here again and wished that I would’ve moved to a different hotel after the first night.

It was a bigger room with a city view so it wasn't the cheapest room in the hotel so there should have been more amenities. Needed updating, looked shabby. I stayed in a late 1800s hotel in Graz. It was old but very clean and had updates to make it appear classy and excellent breakfast. It also had a hotpot, and bottled water. I pay extra for breakfast everyday and it was the bare minimum. Only brewed coffee and basics like a continental breakfast. They charged too much for what they served.

Very low beds with thin mattresses. They were very uncomfortable. The room and hotel interior were very dated but functional. Interesting the outside of the building visible from the near plaza was very elegant. The room is very small, and it cannot be ventilated, there is not enough air.
There is no small window to ventilate the room at night. Beds uncomfortable, very narrow

Location very convenient to many options like St. Stephen’s and the Christkindlmarkt, concerts, shopping, etc. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, welcoming, and got us to the airport on time in spite of a few unanticipated complications.
A little difficult to find initially. But once we knew the location, it was great!

The location of this property cannot be beat. Any shortcomings are easily overlooked when you leave the hotel and 30 seconds later you’re starring at St. Stephen’s Cathedral.
Only thing I can complain about is the size of the showers. I’m a bigger dude and navigating the shower was an actual extreme challenge.

The staff was very friendly right from beginning to end assisting all of our questions. The location was perfect for walking around the city.
The taxi service always wasn't able to meet us nearby so we did have to constantly walk to find them but we enjoy walking. They always seemed confused as to where to find us.

The two beds added to the room were not the most comfortable. The outside window kept opening which made the room cool, the outside window needs to be fixed. The price was too high for the offering.

Best was the central location in the old town, a short walk to Stephansplatz, the Staatsoper, the Graben and the Christmas markets.
Most of the staff were helpful and friendly (shoutout to the Filipina breakfast lady and the day shift front desk lady). I was pleasantly surprised that the continental breakfast had smoked salmon amidst the usual cold cuts and boiled eggs. For an extra charge, a convenient airport shuttle was arranged.
It was quite pricey for a tiny basic room with super firm mattress and too soft pillow, though I get that it was a weekend in high season. And there was no tea kettle in the room and towels were on the thin side.

The location was perfect, right at the heart of the city center. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good enough, but they could offer a little bit more.
The room was so hot. Only a small electric fan was provided and it did very little to cool the room on the two hot nights we stayed there.

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Located in a solid older building on the 2nd & 3rd floors. Beautiful staircase + elevator for luggage.
The beds were super squeaky. The wooden platforms squeaked every time you rolled over. Walls are a little thin, you can hear your neighbors if they’re loud. But the windows to the street are quiet.

The room was horrific. The furniture, curtains etc had not been updated since the 50s and were falling apart. The outlet was half way out of the wall. I can't believe booking.com would use such a facility

Great location, perfect for touring! Close to the Stephanplatz station, shops, restaurants, tours buses/boats, world-class museums, palaces, and one of the best opera houses in the world! There's even a market with fresh fruits, hot food in the same building! Ice-cream, bakery, brats, ... fabulous! And I had a great view with two large, fully opening windows.
Clean. Good water pressure, and tasty water. Very friendly staff! They have same day laundry service for a great price! TV has CNN and BBC.
Old facility with no doorman, so use a key to open the outside door, which is practically invisible the first few times you're looking for it. Another key for the hallway access on the 2nd or third floor... and for your room. You need two free hands for these keylocks.
Loose tiles on the bathroom floor. Extra small shower. The king bed is actually two twins moved together, and no mattresses, just foam pads on a platform.
Good thing the windows open wide because it's WAY too hot otherwise! (No, i didn't Jane the boiler on!) Unfortunately, since Europeans don't give a damn about second-hand smoke, the tar filled air creeps in the window all night from the platz below! Lose-lose situation.

Absolutely everything. Great location (5 min walk from Stephanplatz). Staff was great. They were always eager to help with everything and also was nice having conversations with them to share out experiences as tourists. Also, loved the breakfast and breakfast area.

The location was excellent, the room was clean, the staff were kind and helpful, and the breakfast was good. Internet was good too. The bed and pillows were excellent (firm bed and not to large of a pillow).
The only thing that wasn't great was that the shower was rather small, making it a bit hard to bend down to wash legs, but everything was great.

The location is perfect. The stuff are all very nice. The room is clean. I book the one with shared washroom but I can go whenever I need without waiting. I had a day trip very early to Hallstatt and they packed me the breakfast and extra to ensure I am not hungry nor thirsty on the road. There are so many going on in the neighborhood and I just walk to them very conveniently
