The location, the quiet elegance and the service

It would have scored a 10 but on two occasions a mistake was made with reservations made on our behalf by the hotel (once booked in the wrong name and once not recognised by the restaurant). The Rosewood just needs to tighten its process here.

The location, very friendly staff, the restaurant was nice, size of the room and the delicious candies in every corner which I requested and they gave me a big bag. The receptionist when we checked out was super nice.

When we checked in, the room was filled with flies! And we waited for the cleaners however we got disgusted and killed some of the flies. The house keeper didnโ€™t change the dirty towels and kept them on the shelf, they didnโ€™t even wash the used cups with the tea bags. We stayed on the third floor there was foot steps above us I think it was from the bar and was very annoying at night.

Great location. Absolutely excellent concierge. Nice bathroom

Our room was in the eaves and we had to change lifts to get to it. This took time as the second lift was quite some way from the first. Rooms in eaves always feel smaller. Breakfast on the first day was chaotic and some of our order never arrived at all. My main dish arrived in part with the other part arriving a significant time later. My husbandโ€™s poached eggs were cold as were the second lot when he asked if they could be replaced. He gave up and had toast. There was a wedding on at the hotel which meant there was restricted access to some areas. The couple we were travelling with had a better room. They had not booked through booking.com and I think paid pretty much the same as we did. This happened in the next hotel we went to as well.

Pampered with overwhelming hospitality from arrival until departure. I have never experienced a better concept of discrete luxury, friendly and competent staff. The design was also absolutely magnificent. Definitely going back, thanks to the amazing team and Isabella for helping me with our kids-friendly cultural program.

We didnโ€™t love the restaurant menu, it was too basic and with a rather poor lunch menu.

What truly sets the property apart, however, is the service. The attention to detail and level of care from the staff were outstanding. Their support made a real difference and elevated the entire experience.

There is very little to fault in terms of quality or service. The only consideration is value. At approximately $900 per night, this is clearly a luxury splurge. The location, the property itself and the staff! Top! Was very happy with the hotel design, attention to detail and most of all the staff members were delightful, starting from the door man to everyone else we interacted with โ€” friendly, professional, great people!

I found the soundproofing not the very best but itโ€™s also due to the historical building factor. I could hear the neighbors stomp over me and sometimes quiet music coming from an unknown source.
