The front room can be quite noisy due to heavy traffic outside. I had a side/back room so the noise was not an issue for me this time. It is centrally located, very convenient. One can reach any important point in the center on foot. The "winter weather" was very pleasant during the day, 15-20 C with a lot of sun.

The rooms are very noisy. You could hear every single thing the neighbors and even the people a few rooms further on the same floor were doing. In our case a crying baby on one end and and a couple that stayed up all night having conversations on the other end, so little to no sleep. From the room you can’t even see if it is day or night, you would have to look up to the sky to get an idea of the time of day.

The place was close to a range of cafes and restaurants. Dome, which opens at 6am for breakfast each day, is about 30m away. The room size was great, shower worked well, and bed was comfortable. The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful.
The room had a small single window, which only had a view of a roof/lightwell. There were stairs at the front without a ramp to take gear on wheels up. There was a disabled lift at the front, but I never want to fiddle around using those.

Just my personal taste, but I think the grey and red decor made the room seem small. The very small window looked out on a wall with other small windows. Bathroom had a strange layout with the only towel rack on the far side, opposite the shower and an almost nonexistent vanity.

The location was great: a few minutes walk from Elisabeth Quay, Hay Street, Woolworth's and sightseeing locations. The weather was very warm during my visit (sometimes over 35 degrees), but the air conditioning always kept the room pleasantly cool. The staff at reception and the cleaning staff were very pleasant and professional.

The location was perfect for the purpose of my medical trip. As a menopausal woman, I appreciated to be able to control the temp in my room and I liked that the was a spare blanket in the wardrobe. The staff were friendly. The room size was generous. I like that there is a safe and little kitchenette. For someone in a wheeler chair (which I am not), the room and bathroom is well thought of for access.
The "view" from my window onto other rooms and a square of concrete building was depressing and claustrophobic (as I couldnt open any window for fresh air). Although it was nice to see the bathroom was built for wheelchair access, the sink was quite low for someone not in a wheelchair (and I have a lower back issue). Also when one of my neighbour used their shower, I could hear quite loudly the water in through the walls. Regarding the lack of sound proofing of the rooms, I could hear the other neighbour when he coughed or talked with his companion. So I was quite aware of the lack of privacy.

Location is quite ideal.
There are CAT or public buses nearby.
Housekeeping did a poor job.
We put a towel on the chair on Fri it is not cleared till Tue. Only after we throw the towel in the bath tub then it is cleared.
Housekeeping don't top up our tissue paper and toilet paper when it is running low. We had to go down to reception to ask for it.
There are 2 bins in the room. 1 for recyclables 1 under sink the for other waste.
There was 1 time there is no bin liner in the bin under the sink. End up we had to throw food waste into the recycle bin.
The hotel room soundproofing is not so good. Throughout the night we can hear vehicles honking.

Good location and walking distance to sights, shops and supermarkets. Room size was adequate for a studio with a desk and small kitchenette. Tidy and comfortable.
