The location is great. Staff was friendly.
The apartment was in need of a renovation. Everything was very old and not the best standard. It was clean but I would not stay here again. We payed a lot of money for basically just sleeping in an ok bed. It was not enjoyable to spend a little time in the apartment. Staff was nice though.

The bar and restaurant facilities were extremely disappointing. We were there for 7 nights and only once did we see the bar or restaurant open past 7:30pm. We spent all day out checking out the sites of North Queensland only to be disappointed when we wanted to relax with a cocktail beside the pool and couldn’t because it was closed. This is more of an apartment than a resort.

The tv reception didn't work. Could only watch one channel. And that kept cutting in and out. WiFi also didn't work and having to pay $10/gb is a bit much. For over $500 a night I wouldn't recommend. I think over all the room we were in just didn't have great reception.

We’ve stayed here before and enjoy the apartment style accomodation and big pool. It’s a good base to explore Port Douglas and the Daintree. Last time there was a buffet breakfast that we missed this time.
The place needs a bit of a spruce up and some basic maintenance in our villa would add a lot. The light in the dining room didn’t work, the sliding door had fallen off, there was no soap holder in the shower. A few little improvements would make a big difference.

Found it odd that the bar shut for the pool area around happy hour every day, and did not reopen.
Wasn't impressed with the accommodation. There was no fire alarm, no beach towels and it was very outdated. We paid the same price for friends of hours who we were travelling with, who had an 'executive suite' which we were unaware of at the time of booking or checking in. Prices need to reflect this.

The swimming pool was a great spot to hang out after a busy day sight seeing. Kids loved swimming in and out of the cave.
Convenient location, nice and quiet. The villa had all the necessities needed for a stay away from home.
The villa needs a bit of maintenance, most of the kitchen cupboard hinges were broken so doors didn’t close properly and bath rooms need a bit of work. Sheer curtains would also be nice for privacy not just block out blinds.

The location of the resort is great. It is set off the road and is very quiet and clean. The swimming pool is amazing. The dining room is open only two nights a week.

The patio was dirty. Tv in 2nd bedroom instead of main bedroom. But other then that was great would definitely stay again?

This is our 4th time staying at this resort. We choose it because of the great pools ( and provided pool toys), spacious villas, own kitchen and lounge and great location. It's so quiet and relaxed and like a home away from home.
The resort is getting a little run down due to it's age, but everything is clean and comfortable.

Shame the bar wasn’t open later as would have been nice to eat and chill at the resort after a day of excursions.

The pool was amazing the best part of the whole place
The villa looked nothing like on the website it was run down & dated. The fans were hanging off the ceilings the air conditioners hardly worked the bathroom shower head upstairs kept falling down it the place smelt musty. The “restaurant” only offered pizza or nuggets & chips very poor & expensive. It would be nice if you could take your own alcoholic drinks around the pool but that’s not allowed.

The pool was great. And the villas were a good size for the price!
It felt like there were a lot of villas that had permanent residents in them and therefore the resort didn’t feel as much like a holiday resort. The gym could be better as well

Beds were comfortable, sheets, towels etc clean,
Furniture was grubby, lounge room furniture was technically outdoor and was not comfortable. It's tired and needs a face lift. Curtains were shabby, didn't fit together properly.

The apartment was lovely . the pool was great. parking easy.
WIFI was an absolute disaster. The tv was a no go at night as wifi was sooo bad. The Gym certainly was well below par. Nothing in the gym was able to be used. The pool bar shut at 4 pm which seemed to us as a wasted asset as people would arrive after a day out and find it closed. No restaurant except Pizzas .

Family atmosphere
Very tired and outdated, uncomfortable furniture in unit, poor facilities, restaurant very disappointing, no oven in unit, blinds broken, furniture stained and outdated.
