It has a nice location. The hotel has a nice look and feel and the staff was very kind.
It’s quite an old building and therefore you will hear a lot of noise. Our upstairs neighbours were yelling and stomping all nights and mornings. To lessen the noise I would suggest putting rugs on the floor and vilts under chairs. In my opinion the bed was also not very comfortable it was quite hard, and the bathroom facilities were very basic for the high price we paid for a room.

Chic hotel, comfortable and smack bang in the historical district.
Parking in the area is difficult if you have a roof box BUT the hotel carpark is a yard, but with limited space. We wanted to stay there till 1700 but because they were fully booked which is fine, we had to leave at 1400 which we understand but worth noting if you have a roof box, its hard to park as the car parks are underground max 2m

The sauna & steam room were perfect for after a long day of walking. Parking was secure and better value than public parking. Breakfast had many options and was delicious. Located close enough for an easy walk to the city center but not so close that it was noisy. Beautiful historic building. We'd definitely stay here again.
Towels were a bit rough and could have used some fabric softener. It would be nice if the sauna was open later.

Just outside the main area - about 8 min walk to the main square. We were in the annex and the rooms were quite 'hollow'. We could hear the person upstairs flushing the toilet and 'tinkling' a couple of times but nothing too bad. Breakfast was good - wide variety. Hotel was secure and our car was kept safe on site during our stay. Staff were very helpful - showing us the best places on the map. It's not a fancy hotel but if you're just looking for somewhere clean to sleep, in a good location, this is perfect.

It is too expensive for what it's offering . Spa wasn't satisfying enough .
Many strict rules applied . We went to relax and explore the city but didn't feel comfortable at the place , so we wouldn't stay one more night .
I was asked for my id cards AND credit card's copy at check in as an assurance for them to charge me easily if I smoke in the room which wasn't the case of course . As I don't use a credit card , I was asked to deposit cash . It's absurd .
They have old school keys with a large keys chain for the doors and after 20h you have to put the code or open up the door with your keys .

The stairs to the mezzanine in the family room are very steep and without a stair gate, so the adults slept on the upper level and kids in the double bed!

Great location, friendly staff who were happy to help and provided information and a place to hold backs once we checked out. Bed was comfy and shower was good. Good walking distance from the main areas of interest in Bruges.
There was a strange smell in the room and the sliding door to the bathroom did not always want to stay closed, which revealed you on the toilet to the person sat on the bed. Also only 1 coffee sachet was provided for 2 people staying unless the second person wanted decaf. We were only staying one night so it was fine.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The breakfast room is nicely decorated.
The period features in the room were beautiful- the ceiling painting and stained glass windows. Unfortunately what the room had in charm, it lacked in modern comforts.
No bedside tables or full-length mirror in bedroom. Scuffed edges and corners on the privacy screen behind the toilet. Fitness room very hot and some machines out of use or with pieces on the floor.
Hardly any wifi in the room. As a business traveller, I had to use my hotspot to get a proper connection which I needed for working.
No shampoo, shower gel or bubble bath provided. There was only a bar of soap and a tube of body lotion. When I asked the receptionist for some shampoo, she just gave me an additional tube of body lotion and more soap. I would think at the very least shampoo should be provided in the room as according to your booking.com advert.
The room was very cold when I arrived, even though I had given my arrival time. Since I did not want to leave the noisy unit running all night, it was also very cold in the morning when I woke up.
Finally, and the worst element: no privacy surrounding the toilet and sink. Nota bene: I was made well aware of the placement of the toilet in the "romantic" room thanks to your additional emails, and being a solo traveller the openness into the bedroom did not bother me. However, what did bother me was that the toilet is visible from windows in other buildings. I could not wash at the sink, take a shower/bath, or use the toilet without shutting the curtains in the room completely every time. Curtains could only be fully closed or fully open because they are operated by an automatic closing system. This means you have to shut the curtains completely for any kind of privacy, thereby blocking out the natural light which surely is the main asset of the room. Perhaps place some transparent curtains on half the windows to prevent this? I felt like I was in an aquarium.
I contacted the hotel by email to report these issues but received no reply.

Sadly we did not pick up that the sauna was an extra charge for some rooms and it shut early before we arrived. Not a problem as the rest of the hotel was perfect and such lovely staff.

Beautiful building and furnishings to match. One of the best hotel breakfast buffets I’ve experienced. Spacious room and bathroom. Comfy choice of pillows and bed. Skylight window on top floor room felt luxurious.
The room was very hot and the window obviously had to be closed when we were there out. No fan or air con that we could see. Extractor fan in bathroom not very efficient so steam lingered adding to warmth. Needs to be made more obvious that just because the hotel has a car park, doesn’t mean a space is guaranteed - pre booking of space essential.

The parking place is very unpractical, cannot open directly from outside, have to either ask the reception or first go inside the hotel and go to the gate to open it. Besides the two places next to the gate is very bad, it’s easily blocked by other cars if other people park without their brain.

Excellent location within walking distance of the centre of Bruges with parking. Room was pleasant and clean and a good size. Staff were very nice and helpful.
Given that the hotel has parking and therefore will be approached by road, it is almost impossible to see the name of it from a car. A flag or big sign and an indication of what to look out for in the booking information would make a big difference. We drove past twice in either direction and ended up having to park and find it on foot. Other guests arriving at the same time had a similar problem.
