Location - close to Metro station, Notre Dame Basilica, Chinatown and restaurants. Breakfast was very good. Room was very clean and good size and the bed was very comfortable.
I was aware that the hotel was undergoing renovations. However, the renovations was happening above our room. The renovations started at 5:30 AM!!! Why so early???

(everyone was treated so well) We would rather wait for the friendly staff than the alternative - checked in fast and stressed.

Liked the renovations in the lobby and the restaurant areas, love the happy hour and breakfast. Time to renovate the elevators, otherwise they are stark contrast with the renovated parts.
The shower pressure on the 8th floor was very weak which for me, as I know for many people, really makes a big difference

Breakfast was included and they gave a complimentary drink for each night for a 5-7 PM happy hour. The location is great; basically one block from the cathedral which I would argue is part of Old Montreal.
There was some physical wear to the door frame of the bathroom. That door did not lock. In addition, the sliding door in the suite had a door latch that was falling off. Easy fixes, but just pointing out.

The location is amazing, it took us less than 10min to arrive at Old Port or Old Montreal. The hotel locates in a quiet and safe area, where there were lots of nice restaurants close by. The services were great and the room was also excellent for this price. I would recommend this hotel 100% if you are visiting Montreal.

The location to Old Montreal is fantastic! The room was great! The nightly happy hour was wonderful. Breakfast was fuly stocked and the made to order station was eggscelent!
For some reason the bubbler in the tub decided to turn on at 3am on the first night we arrived. It was quite a shock to the system. I don't know if it had a timer and the previous guest set it and forgot or what, but waking up at 3am to that noise was crazy.

My two person jacuzzi tub alone was remarkable. The room was fabulous overall. The location was perfection. Parking was great. Service in the restaurant was superb. My favorite aspect? HAPPY HOUR!!! We had a magical holiday experience.
The person at the check-in desk was a bit aloof and standoffish, despite my attempts to speak in French and be very polite and friendly. Everyone else we encountered was very warm and delightful, however.

The description on booking.com said that it had a full kitchen.
We were very disappointed to find there was nothing in the kitchen. No plates, cutlery or anything to cook on or with.
We found out later that you can ask to have plates etc. Sent up. We did get some cups brought up but they were taken out by housekeeping the next day so whatβs the point?
Also the lack of variety for breakfast. It was the same every day.

The location is convenient. The availability of paid parking is a bonus for the location. The rooms are quite large and well-appointed, feeling closer to a 1-bed condo unit. The breakfast is nice considering it's included in the room rate, but wouldn't be worth it if it was charged additionally. The front desk staff is amazing.
Given the season and the weather, a small mat would have been nice in the entry/closet area so your boots don't form puddles on the laminate or track mud and grit inside. There isn't much of a view, but that's to be expected in the city centre and 3rd floor.

Room was great - spacious, well-appointed, extremely clean.
Two weak spots - 1. Heat was not keeping up with my settings, stayed a little cool despite my putting temp up to 27c.
2. TV - as usual with hotels, bizarre happenings with the tv: Select a channel only to have it go back within minutes to the hotel channel, turn on living room tv and bedroom tv goes on as well, inability to change channel, volume at times.
Neither were worth complaining about.

Great location. Very helpful and gracious staff. The breakfast and happy hour were outstanding.
Check-in was challenging for us as we drove an automobile and there is no place for drop off. After finally getting checked-in, the elevator to the hotel was not well marked in the multi level basement parking.
Closet door in the room would not stay shut. The facilities are dated but in the middle of renovation.
