During the night a stranger tryed to brake in at the main entrance, the sounds of the stranger banging on the door, the scream of another person and the police sirens woke us up at 4am. We didn't like anything.
The facility smelled, the bed was so bad that the springs sank into our backs, it was not clean, even the shampoo they used was diluted, they gave us a thin blanket to cover us and there were huge tears in the blanket. They forced a deposit fee from us and there were drilling sounds that lasted until 12-1 at night. It was a disgraceful stay.

The receptionist was accommodating.
The room was dusty and dirty. The bed was old and it's annoyingly noisy when you move. The sheets are smelly. The fridge is old and produce a noisy sounds as well. The location of the hotel is just along the highway, the noise from outside like cars, the police cars with its loud siren and people passing by with loud voice, it was very disturbing for us to have a goodnight sleep.

Very convenient location close to the metro station, groceries, restaurants,
and bars. Affordable price for a short stay and room is big enough for 2 people. The staff are friendly and helpful.
It was almost clean but a little bit old, and the entrance was under renovation, which did not look appealing.

The attendant was amazing
The place was in poor condition there was a strong odor throughout. The AC was dirty and instead of fresh air it released dusty air,the washroom had a smelly water trench, and the bathroom itself was cramped with stained tiles. The window curtain seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. Even the lobby had an unpleasant smell, and the room had a persistent bad odor.The walls and doors

Value for money. I expected the worst based on previous reviews but was thoroughly surprised and impressed at the size and refurbished room(rm 34) where I stayed. Fridge and aircond.
The small corridors and red bricks and multiple floors of the old building takes away but nicely refurbished. Nice wooden floors and good lighting.Wide elevator. 800mts to St Catherine st, 900mts to Big Wheel/Old Port, 2blocks away from main metro station Sherbrooke.
The front entrance was difficult and looked abandoned but since it is under construction/refurbishment, the debris in front could be organized so it does not look like an abandoned construction site. Behind the unit is a building in rehabilitation!!! Does get noisy after 7am.
No ramp access to front desk. I hope it is done after the entrance is rehabilitated. First impression..last a lifetime. I really hope that the owner gives priority attention to quickly fix the front entrance from outside to Lobby...that would set the tone for a better impact to new clients!!!
