I got the linen for the bed from the front desk and needed to put them myself when i came at almost 12 AM in a dark room with people sleeping which was inconvenient, especially when I was on the upper bed in a bunked bed.
The sink in the bathroom was not clean and something blocked the water so they accumulate.
You could really hear the noise from the street when police cars went by.

We stayed with two kids (6&9) in this hostel for 6 nights and it worked for us perfectly since we were there mostly for sleeping. It was quiet inspite of many young people groups, very good service (inkl. cleaning), super bus/subway connection to the city center, supermarkets nearby. And kids were extreme happy with the playing area (table tennis, chess, table football). There was also a communal kitchen there, where there was s fridge, dishes, two stoves and a kettle as well sitting and esting areas (but we barely used that). For the money the hostel costs it was the best choice to (afford to) travel with kids to Copenhagen. And kids were totally fascinated from the city and we will come back for sure
It would be really nice to have a possibility to open the window in the communal kitchen. Some people cooked very strange smelling things and the smell couldn't really get out. Since we used the kitchen for boiling water, it was still ok.

Looks good, and location is nice. Neighborhood was pretty and it has a nice connection to the city center. Parking was available as well and breakfast was good. Additional positive thing that I would like to point out is a sign for dog in the room so nobody disturbs you, nor your dog, while staying.

A simple, clean and comfortable hotel, ideal for a stopover before heading to the airport early the next morning. The facilities are more directed towards hostel guests, but room is comfortable and had the amenities needed. Price was also good. Provided baby cot free of cost.
We had to put sheets and duvee covers on one of the beds ourselves, which seems like something the hotel should do as a minimum, especially since it was the bunk bed which was not easy to do.

Almost every night there were loud guests in front of the building, which woke us up despite the closed windows.
On the last day our card stopped working 1.5 hours before the checkout. I had to get help from the staff, which was tiring, because their first two attempts haven't worked.

Great budget option for the city, if you want just a place to rest at night and get a shower. It was all clean with decent equipment and facilities. Location is well within reach of several means of public transport and bike paths. Breakfast is enough if not anything special.
Be aware that at least one side of building faces busy street - lower floors will get all the street noise with open windows. Pillows could be a bit more substantial.

This has been my worst hotel experience ever and I have stayed in much cheaper place that at least were clean. We had to check out after the first night. The first room that we got was smelly - maybe the sheets, had cobwebs, floor was damaged and bathroom/shower unkempt. Had the bedsheets changed but the smell remained. Moved to another room on the same night we checked in - the other room we got was a bit better, but the shower had not been properly cleaned. The general hotel was unclean and seemed to be struggling with maintaining its cleanliness. My kids were distressed by this lack of cleaniness of the place. We then checked out early requesting a refund. We were given an address to contact but havent heard back from them. That was 1 month ago! Zero response. Reached out to Booking.com several times and have to start the conversation from the beginning everytime.

Felt dirty. Our hallway smelt like dogs breath and feet. Our room smelled weird-not a clean smell.
Staff was the bare minimum of polite. They seemed really annoyed about having to help with check in og or even sell us a glass of wine.
The shower door couldnโt shut, so we had water ALL over the floor after each shower.
We paid for and booked a room for 4 but had to make the kids bed ourselves. The sheets had holes in them and towels were different shades of white and the duvets (without covers) were a mash up of assorted yellow stains.
The room was basically giving loads of โickโ.

My room was not clean , I went down and showed them pictures, and a niece girl went up and cleaned but still it was dirty , I was staying in family room and they did not bother to put aheed or towel for more than 2 people, we were 5 and I needed to go down to get more sheet and towels and put it my self on the beds, even if I paid for family of 5..
Breakfast was poor and not worth the money..
The staff was always nice and friendly
Also I ordered that my room was cleaned.. but when I came back from my day they only took trash and towel but did not bother to leave more towels no more hand paper and my room was still dirty.
We won't be back, we were not happy and our money was not well spent with this trip.

Very convenient location, both train and metro are in a walking distance. The staff are friendly and accommodating and decent breakfast. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quite spacious.

This A&O hostel is in a good location within 5 minutes walk of metro station that is then a short train trip into the main station (city centre near Tivoli gardens) and only 1 more train to the airport after that. Although not walking distance from too many sights, it is well situated for public transport.
Staff were friendly on arrival, spoke excellent English and assisted us as needed.
The room was clean and easily accessible. It was also nice and quiet where we were as it is a bit out of the central city, so we found it quite a peaceful place to stay.
The family room is a good size for sleeping, and there are plenty of locker storage options under the beds for suitcases.
The bathroom was clean and the bodywash/shampoo provided was nice and well stocked.
This is the 2nd A&O I have stayed in, and it was heads above the once in Hamburg - we had been a bit worried on arrival not knowing what to expect after our stay in Hamburg, but we were pleasantly surprised at the more modern facilities, cleaner environments and safer location.
The sink was clogged on arrival, but we were able to resolve this easily.
We were missing a set of sheets and towels when we arrived, but again, this was resolved promptly by staff.
We did find the room a bit hot and didn't have the option of air conditioning, but not unbearable.

This is a students' dormitory, a hostel, or smth like that. It's just there's a dedicated hotel-like rooms.
We ordered a twin room with 2 beds, but got 2 more beds (bunk beds), so a total of 4 beds in the room, occupying all the space. When I complained to the reception about this, the response was there was no other room available and they assured me that there will be no extra charge applied to me for the 2 extra beds, which I did not even need (!).
The room did not have a locker for clothes - I mean at all! There were a couple of hangers and that's all. Pretty annoying.
The TV was not usable - when turned on there were no TV channels available at all. Reception said that this happens sometimes and they can't fix it. Strange.
Finally, the cleaning quality was not good enough.
For the price we paid, considering all the above, I think we overpaid.

We needed just a quick one night stay during an unexpected layover in Copenhagen so this was a perfect spot for me and my family near the airport. However, if we were staying in Copenhagen, we wouldnโt necessarily stay here. For one night stay it did the job as it was comfortable and warm and ample space for a family.
The hotel offers a lot for Family such as entertainment for children and had we had more time, we certainly wouldโve used the entertainment available.
It wasnโt all that clean however for the price we paid for one night that was not planned for a layover, it was perfect and we do recommend this place for families and others as it offers a lot and is comfortable.

It was very loud even inside the rooms, we werenโt there to party but still got woken up in the middle of the night from people coming back home. When I booked it looked like we got one big bed but was two seperate beds. Really hard beds.

I had a great experience at the hotel. One of the male staff members, who is petite with curly hair (around 160 cm tall), provided excellent service. He was very helpful in resolving an issue with my room. Although it took some time, he remained patient and willing to assist until everything was sorted out. I truly appreciate his dedication and support.

breakfast is good, towel available, shower gel also available, but no toothpaste and toothbrush. there is a share kitchen to cook water, microwave, stove to cook simple meal etc. cutlery available. many activity and game options in the lobby for family, children and everyone.
the share kitchen is small for entire customer in the hotel, the bed is not tied to the frame, so it keep moving.

Good enough to be hostel. A lot of families, family friendly. 6 minutes walks to S train, 10 min walk to M24 Subway station to center. Couple of coffee and small pizza places within 5 to 10 min walk distance

Location is fine, close to metro, easy access to the city.
I have been before to A&O Sydhavn, but this time the experience was quite unpleasant compared to the first one. They are very strict on not giving you the key before the check-in time at 15:00, but guess what? Once you are there waiting for 20 minutes until you reach the check-in time and go to your room, you then realize that your room is NOT READY, and full of beer cans and unmade beds and you have to wait another 25 minutes for the rooms to be cleaned up. Also, I do not know who is in charge of the hiring of the personnel, but the lady you have in the front desk is super rude, zero customer oriented.
Even though we got some complimentary drinks for the waiting of the room cleaning, she only gave me 2 cards for a group of 8 people! So I had to bring all my family down again so she gave us a complimentary drink for all 8, very unprofessional.

The simple and good quality service - the breakfast, the quick self check- in, 0-24 reception, the clean room and bathroom. The comfy beds. The guest kitchen - did not have the time to use, but great to see they have. Good quality for money
The floor was broken in our room. This could be a potential danger for slipping. Only open shelves and no wardrobe in the room.
