Lack of customer service knowledge, carelessness, non-friendly, too old, the bathroom is very small, same breakfast everyday and we found a medicine inside a bread jar (please see attached pictures) that is provided every morning. Their tour driver service - they arranged for me to go to Alexandria from Cairo and the driver was smoking off and on while driving, he didn't turn on the Air condition, it was hot, dusty etc..unbelievable trip that waste of time and money.

Itโs a quiet place and plus the room itself clean was very clean. The staff is very friendly and the location of the hotel is very central.
Letโs say the lobby you have to go through before getting on the elevator to go to the hotel will not give you the best vibe. However, I think itโs sort of common in downtown unless you go for the 5+ stars hotels

Much cleaner than stays from friends weโve seen. They definitely keep the place in great condition.
Most of the stuff is extremely nice.
Forgot my drivers license here and they kept it for me for a week.
They offer (or include?) breakfast.
Elevators are the same everywhere.
Wifi is terrible (barely works, just good enough to slowly google things), but that wasnโt any different in most cafes we went to to work. A few had good wifi so it is possible.
Depending on who sits at the front desk the guy (owner?) will try his best to really sell you a tour with the hotel.
We did everything in Cairo with just a driver we booked online (Uber to the pyramids for $4-5, online driver only for Saqqara $15) as we heard only bad things about tours and tours from hotels in Cairo. They usually push an agenda.
Breakfast is the bare minimum, but was included for us, so thatโs good.

Location is good and that is it . Air conditioning was very spotty and stopped working on 2nd night. I informed them but nothing was done and we had to sleep with windows Open with the very noisy road.
Wifi never worked. Niethr on my laptop nor on my phone. Breakfast was very minimal. Overall I would not recommend this place unless you have no other choice.
Inertance of the building is not OK perhaps coz the building is a bit old.

Room - it was a standard room with 3 single beds. Rooms were comfortable and space in room was decent. Clean Linen.

Location - Hotel is situated in Downtown Cairo and close to most tourist places. Hotel is located in a old building on the fifth floor and there are other hotels on the fourth floors, etc.
Transportation - Uber easily available but parking is difficult. Metro and other government transport nearby.
Hotel is located on Busy street, so traffic is very bad in the evening or mornings.
Due to commercial buildings restaurants are few but you can order by apps.
Lift is very old and does not have safety grill

Very nice staff, especially Erian who welcomed us heartwarming and took good care of us.
He linked us with an amazing guide name Salama who is an expert on Egyptian history. Salama told us names and history of everything we drove past and even experienced.
Being at Miramar felt like home. Especially with Erian and Salamas hospitality, respect and how helpful they were at any time.
They are people who will help you before you even know you need help.

They changed the hotel completely. After arrivingat 1:30 pm, I came to know that the hotel doesn't has availabilityand they sent me to some other place.. Then, that wasn't enough they changed the room, I booked double room but they gave single room. So small and suffocating. Above that I had to ask for towel, pillow everything, there's nothing in the room, Not even a bottle of water. On top of everything, worst breakfast i have ever had. It was an omelet of just one egg. And some logn cold breads. Like seriously it's an unforgettable experience for me, but on the negative side.

The hotel is not recommended for its quality, price, or facilities. The bathroom is old and dirty, and the room is damp and unhealthy. There are photos that show the room's horrible, horrible condition. I won't return. It's a joke and deceitful. The photos in its publications are lies and shameful for tourism. I dislike that Booking.com or other companies value this hotel with its poor condition, even down to the floor. The breakfast is laughable. There's nothing to choose from. Poor, poor, a deception like the ones in my photos. It's better to have breakfast outside, with more expenses. They are hotel groups together: Miramar Green, Miramar Evergreen Hotel, and New Lotus Hotel. All three are the same deceptions in their prices and their misleading photos. Where is the Ministry of Tourism with these hotels that don't comply with the rules and deceive tourists?

Everything is fine. Instead of 14 hours, we were checked in at 10 am. One thing was not clear, instead of this hotel, we were settled in another, higher floor. Lotus Hotel. The room is clean, the linen is snow-white, the furniture is new. The bathroom is spacious. I recommend Lotus

I liked the location. It's very close to the Tahrir Square downtown. Cafe, restaurant, shops are nearby locations.
The hotel and the room. Too shabby. Not so well maintained. The washroom is so so. I stayed in the room no 515. The TV cable has limited channels. The beds are less comfy. Also, I went there in Dec'25 and it was chilled. No room heater whatsoever. The view from the room is horrible. Broken and leakage side of the building side.
The breakfast is super boring. Everyday the same breakfast. Bun bread, banana, cucumber & tomato slices, onion, chilli, omelet, 1 pcs jam, 1 spoon of cream cheese, cup of red tea and thatโs it. 5 days I had the same breakfast.

The 24hour reception was very convenient. There was an option to leave our luggage after our checkout which was invaluable for our trip. Also, they let us check in much earlier because the room was ready.

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and very professional. We arrived early before check-in time and they kindly allowed us to check in without any issues. The hotel is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. They also allowed us to leave our luggage after check-out and come back later, which was very convenient. Overall, great service and hospitality.
