They offered free parking for couple of hours while we were visiting the city.
We booked a family room through booking.com - the room was confirmed by booking.com as well as the hotel. Upon arrival we realized the room category was not available and the hotel asked us to book 2 individual rooms and pay the extra price for the two rooms (extra was almost the same price as the family room). We decided to visit the city and then head back home making the total journey around 850 kms. Our friend who booked same category room through the hotel site even got an upgrade while we did not get the room we paid for.

Great location and Novotel facilities so it was nice coming home after a long day and finishing with a drink in the beautiful large lounge bar area .
It's on top of the train line which we didn't know so at times during the night it was noisy .

Nice bar and restaurant, incl. Food and personnel.
Unfriendly personnel at the reception. Piece of glass in the bed that cut my childs foot. Fridge was not working. They changed our room (instead of only fridge!), bed was smaller in new room. No energy to discuss with this people, young and not willing to help.

Very central location, and convenient for the station.
Room was clean & shower was good.
Access to parking was very narrow. Our hire car (Volvo XC60) only just squeezed in between the door frame. Had it been our own car, we wouldn’t have got in, which would obviously have caused a problem

The hotel is located close to the city center and train station which is good. We stayed here for an event so this was the perfect spot to be. The lobby and shared facilities are nicely built and maintained. The staff was welcoming and friendly.
The rooms themselves have a couple of design flaws. The first would be the access to fresh air. The main windows are not supposed to be opened because the risk of falling out. The heating/ ventilation system though is programmed for conserving energy, which in theory is a good thing but, when it’s 10 degree outside and I want fresh air, but the ventilation says, we don’t cool down below 24 degree to save energy I don’t see the point. In the end we found a way to open the “doubled” windows anyhow. Another real problem is the ventilation of the toilet. For some unknown reason this is in a separate room other than the rest of the bathroom and it has no ventilation at all. The next strange design choice is, that the room offers no proper light, only two small LED reading lights on each side of the room, can’t really understand what the designer was thinking. Last but not least the additional chaise lounge which should be a bed for a third person sits around in the room like it doesn’t belong there. There is also no desk or chair in the room. Overall our stay was fine, but I think the room design needs some upgrade.

Brilliant value for money and such a family friendly hotel
We loved it, perhaps the only downside was that our room overlooked the train junction which was quite noisy during the night when we all shuddered as the trains went underneath us! But if you like trains, then it was excellent! Ha!

Location to station was great. Convenient.
Staff were happy to let me wait whilst they did paperwork on more than one occasion. Phone in room worked once then room service hung up on me mid order.
Phone didn't work again. Not up to Novotel standards.

Great location.
The check in staff member said we hadn’t paid for the room. I showed her emails and receipts. After a while she finally she got her manager who found our payment. There was no apology by either staff member. The first staff member was so rude. I don’t know her name as her hair covering her name badge.
