No comments about the property, but staff management is a failure
We have left airpods in the room. I have called to the hotel one hour after we checked out when we realised we left it and asked to check for the airposs, and reception said that the cleaning team haven't found them. However, I was seeing airpods moving in the city FindMy app - first I saw them in the hotel, then in one hour I saw them one block away from the hotel. I think that the cleaning team / other staff took them and didn't report to the manager / lost and found. Seems like if anything is lost, there is no way it can be found at this place…

The Breakfast Was Incredible! It had sweet and salty options, American style or french style or german style options. The person was incredibly friendly and helpful. There is also a lounge area to chat while the kids play board games. And the gym is decent.
The room smelled like cigarette. But the personnel tried everything they could to help us with the situation.

The room was massive, I stayed in a Suite and it was like a small studio apartment. It was well decorated and had a microwave, fridge and coffee machine which was a surprise given how affordable it was. It is well located a short walk to all the sights and attractions and the staff were always happy to assist and provide recommendations for restaurants and answer any questions.
The room had a small of cigarette which was very strong when I first entered the room but I did open all the windows and this slow got better. It is not the fault of the hotel at all but it wasn't a pleasant first impression.

Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff. Hotel was clean and modern. Very comfortable beds and a good shower. Excellent service through out. Short walk into the city. Nice area outside to sit and relax by the swimming pool. About 300 yards behind hotel there is a selection of restaurants which were also very good
The underground car park is extremely tight if in a big car and also costs €12 a night to park

Our suite was spacious, well appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was well-lit and spacious - it was great to have tissues (not in every hotel!), quality shampoo and soap products and a good hairdryer - the shower was good and easy to control.
We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel.
It was a pleasant 15 minute walk into the centre of Montpellier - easy!
The staff were all welcoming, polite, friendly and helpful.
If we hadn’t read in other reviews that it’s necessary to bring your own plates and cutlery, etc, to use in the (very nice) kitchenette it would have made the area almost useless and also frustrating to have had to go out to buy even just paper plates.
Perhaps the hotel could have a system whereby basic items like plates, cutlery, dishcloth etc could be loaned with maybe a returnable deposit when the items are returned at the end of a stay? Or, it should be stated on the hotel website that these items are not supplied.

I forgot the charger for my watch, and the staff found it upon my request and kept it for me. On my return trip, I was able to pick it up.
The renovation is not the most recent, but it is fine.
