We walked into a room that felt like a sauna. The room had not been aired and the AC was not on (this was mid August!!!).
We put on the AC that looked quite outdated and it didn't work at all. Just regular air blowing out.
We had to sleep with the windows open to get fresh air from outside.
We didn't really didn't sleep well.
First thing I did is complain to the reception in the morning. They said they would discuss with the manager and they never got back to me. The manager is not up to the job for not personally reaching out to us and trying to compensate us somehow or at least apologize.

Hotel is right in the centre of the city close to everything. The reception staff are polite and friendly. They were particularly helpful when my husband lost his wedding ring in our room. They found it after we left and arranged for it to be sent to us.
The hotel is quirky and fun. The bed was super comfortable - best we had on our trip around the Alsace. The bathroom is a little outdated but is clean and serves its purpose. The air conditioning was ok - it could have been better but considering it was about 33 degrees outside we were very glad to have it. We also appreciated the blackout blinds which helped keep the heat out and for us to have a great sleep.
We were disappointed with breakfast. The food is located in various parts of the breakfast area. Nobody explained the layout - we tried to figure it out but sadly had to keep asking for things. We were also very disappointed with the breads and croissants on offer - very poor quality. And as I read in a previous comment the server with the headphones is still wearing his headphones. Bizarre.

To be honest I’m quite disappointed. By the reviews I thought I was in for a treat for my pre honeymoon (we aren’t taking a honeymoon so this was it) and the room was not great. The bathroom was super mouldy, leaking and the room smelt like sewage cause of it not to mention someone else’s hair clear as day on the bathroom floor. The ceiling had water damage and the air co didn’t work barely either. I went to the front and they kindly gave me a new room which I so appreciate. It was a bit better but nonetheless still a quite dirty bathroom and AC that in 32 degree weather was barely a little breeze. It was too much money for all these issues. I hate leaving a poor review but I honestly didn’t enjoy my last day in France.

Good location and lobby design. That’s all advantages. The hotel was chosen based on good reviews but seemed like we were in other hotel.
- impossible to find a parking due to street repair around - navigation became crazy
- room was with broken air conditioner control panel (see photo). We were lucky to avoid electricity impact. When we told the problem to reception - the answer was “you had to address this problem earlier!” Surprising we even have to address the issue at all?!?
- bad was extremely hard like you are slipping on the floor
- repair and room conditions are from 80’th without renovation (see the dozen years dust in air duct)
- the worst were the direct view on roof opposite building where music bar and restaurant were open until 1-30 pm. My family were like visitors of that bar listening loud music. No possibility to close window due to non-working air conditioner. Requested stuff answered the Hotel is full and no chance to change a room

Nice hotel in a great location. The room was clean, and the breakfast was good. The eclectic décor added charm and nicely offset the building's age. Public parking (Marechaux) was very convenient, and access to the hotel from the garage was well marked, with clear instructions provided by the staff prior to our arrival.
The building is older and so are the room furnishings. The hallways were a bit smelly (cigarette smell). Nevertheless everything was clean and the staff was nice and helpful.

She made us feel so comfortable after a long stressful day of driving . Great comfy beds also and breakfast was good very relaxed, hotel itself is so quirky really interesting.

Quirky, beautiful decor, friendly staff, we arrived after midnight and they easily accommodated us. Bar was open serving till 1am and the friendly staff member Annaca stayed chatting with us till long after while we enjoyed our drinks. Comfy bed, standard clean pretty 3 star room & bathroom. Great selection at breakfast - initially it seemed there wasn't much left and then they replenished everything with fresh food after 9:30, despite breakfast finishing at 10:30, which was really helpful. Lovely pastries and bread. plenty of fruit, yoghurt, homemade jams, omelette, bacon, fruit juice, good coffee in the machines, the works.

Not the hotel's fault but the construction in Mulhouse made it very hard to get to the parking. we were in traffic for 20 minutes just the next street over.
coffee facilities in room were lacking and heating in bedroom did not work. and maybe a hook a little closer to the shower area would be helpful for reaching the towel.

The location is close to the Christmas market, which is why we chose the hotel/apartment. The apartment is NOT in the hotel but in another building nearby. And the building is a typical apartment building with the typical smells, noises, etc. (This wasn't a problem so much as it was a surprise since I thought we had booked a suite in a hotel.) The apartment itself was mostly wonderful: the rolladens blocked out the little street noise and light there was (remember, we WANTED to be in the old town so we expected noise), the bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was wonderful, and the place was extremely clean.
I'm not sure what the decorating theme was as the "closet" was the type of locker one sees in a locker room: gray metal. While it was functional and new, it added to the "we're just going to throw some stuff together and call it an apartment" look. The bathtub had a hand-held shower head but there was no curtain and one would spray the room if you tried to rinse off. Also, the room was missing a hair dryer. Since the apartment is located away from the hotel, there was now way to get one quickly. When I asked about it the next day (and the hotel), the host looked for one in the closet and didn't find one; that was it. To be clear, I WOULD definitely stay here again, but now I know that I'm not getting a typical hotel suite/room.

The interior design was the cherry on top of the cake! A little chilly in February, but the receptionist gave us an extra heater which made the room to hot, but ok ?. It is right in the city center behind the cathedral, close to everything. The breakfast was diverse and good quality.
