On top of a very warm welcome and some great local information on arrival at the hotel it was very convieniently located next to the train station, bus and tram lines. Easy to move around the city from here. The building itself was stylish and comfortable with a fussball table in the foyer to keep the kids entertained while checking in. Lunch in the hotel restaurant was super, tasty and local. Books were everywhere and added to the ambience. Our kids loved the room and the style of the hotel.

Dinner was expensive and fairly basic.
Outside terrace was OK but with loads of beggars wandering through.

Everything was very good...the room, the cleanliness, the complementary cold water to take up to my room always available, the air conditioning in a heatwave, the food in the restaurant, the breakfast, the staff, the convenience for the station, the quietness and the pleasant aspect across to the river.
The only thing that was slightly amiss is that I was waiting more than 30 minutes for my dessert to arrive. In the end I left the restaurant without having it. .... the problem seemed to be insufficient staff....only 2 members of staff doing their best to serve a busy hotel restaurant.

This Hotel is adjoining the station hence the reason we booked it. We stayed for two nights so we could leave our bikes and drive the car to Chateaulin before returning to the hotel ready to set out the next day on a weeks cycle trip along the Nantes Brest Canal. The breakfast offering was good both days when you had found the various serving points.
We used this hotel as it has secure parking and we were able to store our bikes safely.
We had dinner here the first night and chose to move ourselves to another table away from the unpleasantly drafty outer doors. These doors would open as the staff passed across them every few seconds spoiling what could have been a nice meal. We chose to eat out the next night to avoid a repeat.

Breakfast was good.
Location poor next to main railway station. Shower was blocked and kept overflowing . This was reported on 2 occasions and still nothing was done. Ran out of toilet paper as only 1 bit available. No privacy curtains so when the black out curtains were opened anyone could see in from the upper cafe in the Railway Station. Food appeared expensive in the restaurant with very little choice so ate out both nights.

Very good breakfast, great shower, and clean room. Location is key for a short visit, within walking distance of major cultural, tourist, and shopping areas. Close to the train station, Le Lieu Unique, Chateau du Bretagne, and Nantes Cathedral. Many restaurant options are close to the hotel.
Price could be a bit more accessible, but it wasn't too far from other hotels around that cost more and offer less.

Comfortable and very near the shuttle bus to the airport. Restaurant was open on Sunday evening with good choice of Fishers
4 very small pillows on the bed. Not good in a 4 star hôtel.
