Staff were wonderful and the the extras of coffee, water and newspapers was really a treat. I would definitely go back.
The only comment I would have here is about the room size. And clever rearranging of shelves and fridges might make the tight bedroom space more efficient. Other than the tiny bedrooms, the hotel was really wonderful as were the staff.

The room was small as expected but the bed was hard as a rock and pillows were terrible. The room was fine if you are not going to be in it often but don’t expect any sort of luxury or over the top I would equate this hotel to a 3 star not 4star.

The hotel was fine it what I’m upset with is that booking made a mistake with the reservation and listed us a a couple with a baby, when in fact, we have a 14 year old teenager. We had to pay for an extra room and were extremely disappointed. We will never book with booking again!!!

We took the 22 meter room which is considered the bigger room, still the room was small and the bathroom was very small, the toilet was actually outside the bathroom in a kind of closed balcony, without any heating, it is very difficult to be in these bathrooms in the cold! If you put toilets in a closed balcony, at least put heating, in addition, a lot of noise from the other rooms because the rooms are separated by plaster walls

I loved how the doors to the balcony opened up . It enabled us to get some fresh air and look out to the streets below. There was hot chocolate available in the lobby as well as a self serve coffee machine. The location was superb. Easy walking distance to restaurants/cafes and attractions. The location was excellent, walking distance to metro/RER station and little supermarket stores, as well as numerous great restaurants and cafes. The room was comfortable, clean and well appointed for a tiny space.
The elevator wasn’t working for the 2 days we stayed, so we had to use the alternate elevator which was a claustrophobic persons worst nightmare to get up to level 5 then walk the last flight of stairs to our floor.

Superb location, just a few minutes walk from the Latin quarter and also from several metro stations. Very close also to the Luxembourg gardens. Friendly staff and rooms were clean. The option to have two adjoining rooms for the family was the reason we chose this hotel and it did not disappoint. One room had a double bed, the another had two singles. The room with the two single beds was well lit and had a lovely little balcony which you could access and enjoy with deck chairs.
We had two adjoining rooms, one with a double bed, another with two singles. The room with the double bed was very dark (it faced into a small internal courtyard). There was maintenance work going on just outside this window one morning. But to be fair, they started work after 9am. The lifts were very small and a bit slow. One morning a cleaner came straight into the room without knocking first. There is no way to lock the doors from the inside.
After that we made sure to use the "Do not disturb" sign on the door handle. None of these things were important enough to deter me from recommending this hotel.

The room layout was ergonomic compared with other hotels we stayed in which were not.
The breakfast was not good value in comparison with other hotels. Upon arrival, the hotel smelled strongly of paint. We were told that the smell would not reach our room and would be finished that evening - this was not true. The works and therefore the overwhelming smell lasted for 4 days and was very unpleasant.

The air conditioning was terribly inefficient. There are limiters set on the thermostats that don't allow for the rooms to be cooled beyond a certain temperature, and it was HOT. Unnecessarily so. I'm not sure if it was a cost-saving measure or not, but it made being in the room uncomfortable most of the time.

Location, location, location!!! Close to the Louvre, Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, Shakespeare & Co, and so much more! Very close to trains that went everywhere very fast -- they were FAST, clean, easy to use, and convenient. The beds were very comfortable and the shower & tub excellent.
The breakfast was convenient and yummy, and the desk staff, breakfast staff, and room staff were superb. Also, we took advantage of the all-day espressos. Lovely place - would stay again!
I'm a big fan of something hot such as scrambled eggs and sausage with breakfast, but I did very much enjoy the breakfast even without these. Rooms were small, but that's OK.

This place was great. The St.Germain area is so convenient and this particular hotel is close to several metro lines. The beds were comfy, big terrace doors with blackout curtains and a nice size shower/ salle de bain. I will almost certainly look to book here again on my next trip to Paris. It far exceeded the first hotel I stayed in just one block away. The prices were comparable. This place was cleaner, bigger, and the second bed for my daughter was an actual comfy bed and not a pull out couch. Absolutely recommend.
The elevator is so small but not unlike any other hotel in Paris. This is not a criticism but a friendly reminder to other Americans who are used to big roomy elevators to fit the too many bags we bring. If that is an issue for you, you may want to seek out an American chain hotel in the city.
