The location is great at it is Saint Germain des Prés, but there is no shops or whatsoever around. A few restaurants are available though!
The bed was not very comfortable. The room is old, and it looks dirty. I was super scared to find bed bugs... thankfully I did not. The door of the shower was broken (but they fixed it the day after), the water from the sink was leaking everywhere. The room smelled bad like cold cigarette & dust. The AC does a terrible sound, even when it's off. I was freezing in Paris in winter and couldn't turn it on. It was so loud that I had insomnia, it was like a phone vibrating and I couldn't find how to stop it cause it was already off! And my bracelet has disappeared after 2 nights... which I find super suspicious but I don't want to incriminate anyone. I checked out after 3 horrible nights cause I couldn't imagine staying 5 as I had planned.

Met Eric on arrival and spoke English very well . The hotel is in a good place to walk to a few landmarks , eating places and souvenir shops . We chose this hotel to get more of an old feel for Paris . The staff were very accommodating and really helpful
Breakfast was ok and filled us up for the rest of the day . We had a king-size bed which was perfect. Room had heating also and tea / making facilities. And if I want more u just go and ask at reception and they were more than helpful to give us supplies. Would definitely stay again.
For the women having a mirror at the table in the room would be useful to do themselves up as it all in the bathroom and the mirror is streamed up after a shower .

The number one reason we come back to this hotel is the staff, they are so helpful and kind. Second, the beds are so comfortable. The location is wonderful, out of the touristy areas all the while convenient by metro to everything. The surrounding restaurants are delicious and more affordable. Access and relaxing g in Luxembourg’s Gardens is so nice after a day of sightseeing.

I would absolutely stay here again. The staff were all wonderful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, and well represented by the photos. The location was perfect. It was reasonably quiet for center city and an easy walk to many metro stops, in a vibrant neighborhood close to the Louvre and Notre Dame. The bar/restaurant next door was also excellent and friendly. There is a small lift if stairs are difficult.
The bathroom got very steamy for lack of ventilation, but that's just being picky.

Location was excellent…next to the Luxembourg gardens, plenty of great restaurants within a short walk, the atmosphere of Saint Germain neighborhood can be beaten and also many of the sites are within an easy walk. Would definitely stay again at Fontaines du Luxemburg!
Our initial room had a very small bathroom and a shower without a door or shower curtain. It was impossible to shower without getting the entire bathroom completely wet. As our stay was for six nights we asked for a different room. This was swiftly resolved by the staff and for the rest of our stay we had a lovely room!

Great location for easy access to public transport as well as nearby tourist sites. First time in Paris so this served as a hub for our sightseeing adventures across the city. Front desk staff was fantastic and went above and beyond when we arrived later than expected due to train delays by personally placing a call to local restaurants to confirm they could seat us for dinner. Room was cozy and private which was exactly what we hoped for. Highly recommend!

This was one of our best hotel stays ever! It's only a short walk from the Luxembourg Gardens, Pantheon, and the Odeon metro stop, so it was easy to get around all of Paris. The room was perfect, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff was beyond excellent. Particularly Eric at the front desk. He went far beyond expectations to make sure we were comfortable, offering restaurant recommendations and helping us. If/when we return to Paris, this will be our hotel, no question.
There were hangers in the room but there isn't a chest of drawers for socks, underwear, etc.

Be sure to bring converters and adapters, as their electrical outlets are not suitable for US appliances and phone chargers. Bathroom nice and updated. Comfortable bed. Cute little lobby area with complimentary tarts and coffee. The staff was AMAZING and so accommodating. Allowed us to store our luggage in back room due to our early arrival. Stored our medication in their coolers. Highly recommend!

The room size was great! Although it was a windowless room, the light from the inner courtyard provided a pleasant ambiance. A huge bath and rain shower and amenities were available. The location felt very safe and was conveniently close to various restaurants and a lovely park.

The welcoming attitude and care by Mr Mourad and his staff added much to our very enjoyable stay in Paris. Mr M was very helpful with recommendations for cuisine as well as verbal assistance as well as "call" for a taxi for us as well as to how we can best "get around" Paris and the various sites we wanted to visit.
The hotel met our needs as far as location as well as the comfort of the room. Very comfortable. The breakfast offered not only provided us with a good start to touring the various sites of Paris, but also the staff made sure that I, and my 14 year old grandson, breakfast's requests were met with positive and gracious service. The head cook seem to "adopt" my grandson and made sure he had enough to eat.

Lovely hotel on a quiet street close to the Luxembourg garden with easy access via bus/metro to all the sights of Paris. The staff was exceptional and made our stay a memorable one. Breakfast on-site made for a delicious easy start to our day. We looked forward to returning to the peaceful calm for an afternoon nap and a good night sleep after our daily adventures. Can’t say enough good things about this wonderful hotel and its staff.

The location was great. Very easy to walk to the river, restaurants and shops. The lobby was beautiful and welcoming. We enjoyed sitting there to relax, have a snack and read. There were even games our family enjoyed there. Eric at the front desk was amazing. He was friendly, informative, and we all looked forward to seeing him each day. He was so kind to our kids and had a wonderful sense of humor.
The hotel cleaning staff were wonderful as was the woman serving breakfast.
The rooms were quiet and had lovely natural light.

Good location
The rooms are very stuffy. The bathroom has no ventilation so the humidity lives in the walls of this place. It had a musty smell and it felt stuffy every day. I left the hotel with a sinus infection every morning that would later clear up after a walk…. According the pharmacist, it’s likely something was in the air in the room. I have no known allergies.

Room we had 1# needed sound insulation between the bottom of the door and the floor
We came up with a manual solution to ensure that the noise from the lobby didn’t come into our room as loudly
We requested an additional bedsheet which they put on one night, but because the chamber made was a different person the following night she didn’t put it on, and it made for very warm in the bed, even with the air conditioning on
As soon as we ask the following day, they added the sheet, but it would be great to put these kind of notes so that it transfers if the staff aren’t the same every day

The photo did not match the room . It looked nothing like the images or reviews online. Fake photos and fake reviews is dangerous to portray online this is fraud.
The room I was given was terrible I could not open my suitcases. Shower was like trailer bathroom. Carpet was dirty as well as the walls. The images and reviews you posted are dangerously fraudulent.

Historic building, Medici family at some point lived there. Location was great as well as the room interior. Breakfast was amazing as well. The hotel staff was very welcoming and friendly, like exceptionally friendly. Especially Dallal at the breakfast- the friendliest and nicest person I have ever met. They care about you and want to make sure you like everything and enjoy your stay. Highly recommended!
Small elevators (like everywhere in historic buildings in Paris). They also started a renovation the day after I arrived (a heads up to that when I booked would be nice). Also really missed fridge in the room, although had electric kettle, which was nice

The front desk manager and staff were very helpful and answered all of my questions prior to arrival and once there.
The breakfast staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast room was cozy and the breakfast good. They would make anything you requested like cappuccino.
The location is great. Close to St. Germain and the Latin Quarter. Many restaurants and cafes as well as an easy walk down to the main tourist sites.
It's a quiet hotel which was appreciated.
The cost was very reasonable.
Nothing really, the room was small but that was as expected.
It wasn't expected but they had a room off the lobby where you could have coffee which was great. If there were more options to order drinks or snacks in the afternoon or evening (even if you had to pay) that would have been great.

The location was excellent. Close to St. Germaine but a little quieter. Very convenient to go on the metro/bus and all the tourist attractions are easily accessible on foot or metro. The hotel staff was excellent - professional, friendly, and always available. We enjoyed the breakfast with lots of fruit, granola, and yogurt options. (Can't eat croissants every day -- ok, maybe we can...)
The hotel is a bit over-loved though during the last part of our stay, they were doing some renovations, hopefully to update and repaint. The room was a little on the small side but that's probably because it's Paris.

Room size was amazing. Bathtub and shower! Couch and chair and desk and full closet and King size bed. Just amazing space and two windows onto a courtyard. Lovely decor. Robes. So comfortable. Very unusual for Paris. Cafe's all around. Little grocery/quickie mart with wine across the little street. Park nearby is gorgeous. Don't miss it.
The hotel is painting and there was plastic lining the stairs and a bit tricky when they blocked the stairs.

I sent emails requesting help (after a welcome email from the hotel offering assistance) but received no reply. The individuals who worked at the reception desk were polite but were unable to answer some of my questions; these were questions about visits in the city that they could have researched but never got bank to me with information.

My third stay at this lovely hotel.
Mainly the staff are absolutely brilliant. They are so kind & welcoming and will do anything to help. They were also particularly attentive to my toddler and I was very grateful for that.
It is well situated (across the road from Jardin Luxembourg which has great play area and puppet theatre for kids, also very close to several bus and metro stations). There is a little supermarket across the road which was also handy. The room was really lovely, comfy beds and clean bathroom. Breakfast was well done with plenty of choice of hot/cold.

The location was excellent. We could walk to all that we wanted to see. But the most outstanding thing about this hotel was its staff. Mourand and his team were a joy to see behind the desk as we arrived back from our daily adventures. He was personable, kind and funny:) The rest of his team was equally helpful but that smiling face of Dallal at breakfast was a wonderful way to start out our day. She is a national treasure.
There was not one thing that we did not like about this hotel. Everything was wonderful.

Mourad’s team were so friendly, kind and helpful. The hotel itself was very nice with interesting design. Also the breakfast cave was cool. And the breakfast was a great start to the day.
There was no way to lock the door from the inside without the key.
