The Hotel is a fantastic place to stay, with an excellent location.it's near charming cafes and restaurants, and there's is a Carrefour just a few steps away. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
The room was comfortable, featuring cozy beds and stunning view of the church in front and other beautiful buildings in the area. The bathroom was well-lit and spacious, adding to overall comfort.
While the breakfast area is relatively small and requires reservations in advance, it's filled with natural light and has a delightful atmosphere.
The only thing missing is an in-house restaurant, which would make the hotel even more convenient.

Room was mostly quiet, sufficiently large, very comfortable bed, best pillows ever, perfect sized bath. Splurged for 25E breakfast in bed and it was fabulous. Was recovering from a cold, couldn't have picked a better place.
Lots of noise early in the morning from rooms above.

Our stay at Hotel Regent Contades was a delightful experience. The hotel boasts a charming atmosphere with beautifully curved wall designs and high ceilings that add a touch of elegance to the rooms. The decoration throughout the hotel is tasteful, creating a cozy yet sophisticated ambiance. One of the highlights was the stunning city view—overlooking the river and the nearby church, it made our stay even more memorable. The bathroom was spacious and well-designed, offering a comfortable and luxurious experience. Additionally, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring we felt at home throughout our visit.
That being said, there are a few areas for improvement. We would have appreciated a wider selection of warm breakfast options, such as omelets. The bed was quite soft, whereas we had expected a firmer one for better support. The shower system in the bathroom was somewhat tricky to use, as switching from tap water to the showerhead was not very intuitive. Parking was also a concern; although we requested a reserved spot, our car did not fit in the allocated space, which caused some inconvenience.
Overall, Hotel Regent Contades offers a wonderful stay with a luxurious feel, excellent service, and beautiful views. With a few improvements, particularly in breakfast variety, bedding firmness, and parking arrangements, it could be an even better experience.

Location was ok
We don't recommend it for what we paid. No parking available for a SUV car, old furniture inside rooms and not maintained properly. You need to book your breakfast timing with one day before, as the "restaurant" is small. IF you book the breakfast after 09:00 am, you can't find anymore food...Saturday I had the surprise to understand we get the last croissant and the last smoked salmon ....not acceptable ...and on top they didn't had clean glasses, so you need to wait until they bring you clean once but broken ... so was a "perfect start" of my morning anniversary day in this expensive hotel (>600 Euro/2 nights) ....

Great location and beautiful building. We could walk around the Petite France until late and found tons of restaurants and places with no problem. The staff at the hotel was very helpful with luggage and cordial.
Bathroom was clean and renovated for an old building. Loved the pillows; comfortable bed. We had a balcony that couldn’t take advantage of only because it was still a bit cold outside. Great view though.
We tried to change the booking - arrive a day later and leave a day after, same number of nights. It was a simple accommodation that they refused due to lack of availability the extra night. We lost one night and when we arrived at the hotel the offered an extra night at a regular rate. Clearly the hotel wasn’t flooded by guests.
Also, Room was rather small although they made the best out of the space.
Parking is not available - only 2-3 spaces at €30. We chose to park elsewhere buy no garage is really close. That’s a compromise for being in a big city. Strasbourg is worth it.

The bedroom was very nice but at £200 per night it should be. My view was amazing, however my sister's view was of a wall and she paid the same price.
I must say I haven't stayed somewhere with WIFI as bad for years. Both rooms were very poor and in most cases none existent, my husband who doesn't have roaming on his phone couldn't use it whilst in the room. There are several stairs to be considered when dragging heavy bags too, although we are able-bodied it was hard work.

Great location, easy to get to the center and really nice building from the outside.
We booked a 'deluxe' room and asked for double bed - received 2 single beds without any response; shower was not working at all in the room (only hot water, no pressure/stream), we asked for parking - regular sedan car - response was that it is not possible to use the garage; breakfast for that price was very average and the breakfast room completely full/no private space

Parking. However, in fairness, what European city doesn't have a parking challenge. There is an underground public parking facitity relatively close by.
It’s close to downtown, the Christmas markets and near the tram.

I liked the view of the church from my room. I liked that the toilet was separate from the bathroom. The room and bed were very comfortable. The location was great. Front desk staff were great and were able to lend me both an umbrella and a yoga mat. I would be happy to stay at this hotel again.
I would have preferred a different coffee machine. This is very minor.

Lovely view from the window, great location in quiet area but close enough to everything (i.e. everything I needed to get to was under 30 minute walk from the hotel). Enjoyed the breakfast options every morning. Had a great stay!
