The hotel has been recently decorated and looks very nice.
however the air con in our room wasn’t working . The young lady , who was the receptionist, did here best to get it to work, but there was nobody else for her to call for help.
Breakfast buffet was pretty standard.

Very central location, across from the main train station and a shuttle stop to the airport close by.
I wish the hotel restaurant was open later at night as it serves good food at reasonable prices.

Central location. Friendly and welcoming staff.
Staff were a bit slow on reception and initially confused about our booking as we had booked two rooms. The air-conditioning unit didn't seem to have a slow setting so it was either off or on full blast which was noisy. Having said that, I slept well with the a/c off on a very hot day.

1, The location is very good, so close to the main train station.
2, The staff were wonderful, polite and friendly and mainly all English speaking (thank you)
3, The whole stay (albeit only one evening) was very pleasant.
Bathroom maybe needs a slight uplift in appearance.

The breakfast was pretty good - they had proper fresh orange juice that you helped yourself to. There was a reasonable selection of pastries and meats and cheeses.
I don’t like the pre-authorisation payment that we had tp pay upfront. I have never had to pay that before. My bank took a very long time to reimburse the money and as we had paid for the room in full when we arrived both times, I didn’t see the point…

Well located near train station, very quiet with an extremely helpful and attentive staff. Breakfast buffet is good.
Room was a little disappointing initially, the window faced an interior room, the pillow was lumpy, shower controls a little hard to figure out. But these things didn’t matter that much and we wound up liking the room because it was so quiet and we needed the rest.

Unfortunately we didn't have hot water for our shower but we were offered complimentary breakfast and just the fact that the staff were so nice about it made all the difference!

Mistake in booking.com regarding room description. It was written: with city view.
In fact, the room has no city view. The only window is being opened to the corridor inside the atrium. As people was passing in the corridor, we could not leave the window open. As a result, no fresh air. If booking.com had given correct information, we would choose another room or hotel.

Rooms are basic but good, decor unexciting but the hotel itself has 3 levels containing great art, furniture etc, so over all the lace has a good atmosphere, redolent of the past.

I was pleasantly surprised. The lady at check-in was very nice. I had room 309 overlooking the roofs and I watched the sunrise from the roof as there is an exterior stairway. The room was perfect with all amenities and I got a wake-up call. The supper at the restaurant was scrumptious and guests get 10 % off.
