I was very impressed by the size of the room as on pictures it looks smaller but once there they're actually big and the bed looks king size. Very well decorated and clean. The hotel is straight in front of the train station Matabiau and in the city centre of Toulouse near brasserie and restaurants. The man doing the check in was absolutely adorable and gently offer a French plug as I had an English one I couldn't charge my phone and I give it back when leaving in the morning. The woman doing the check out was lovely and polite as well.
The only thing is that the lift is very small and the floor is making noise so you can heard people walking in other rooms but other than that the hotel is great.

I booked a single room for value, but as a regular guest, I was kindly upgraded to a double by the gentleman at reception. I also needed to leave for a 6:00 am train; the team went above and beyond by allowing me to access the breakfast spread at 5:40 am, before the official opening time. Excellent, proactive service as always!

The location, opposite the main railway station, was very convenient and it was also a comfortable walk from the city centre. There was a variety of shops and places to eat nearby. Although not the most modern hotel, the building had character which more than compensated for that and there was a pleasantly intimate feel to the hotel enhanced by the friendliness of the staff who happily spoke good English. We enjoyed the basic but perfectly adequate breakfast.
The 'courtyard' room lacked natural light but was probably better for that rather than being too bright from the sun, street lights and noise from the road.

The location is really good, just opposite from the train station and close to the center. There is a water fountain that you can use at the reception. The youngest of the 2 receptionists was kind and gave good advice about where to go, eat etc.
The breakfast was really disappointing. The hotel is under renovation so I might have been unfortunate and got an old room.

stayed here because i needed a place in toulouse and this was the cheapest option (still quite expensive for a shared room). i’m a bit torn writing this because i actually really liked the hotel and i think if i had a private room it would have been a 5 star experience.
the staff were very accommodating, i could leave my backpack for free before check-in which is quite late. they also offer free coffee or tea in the lobby which is very convenient. the decor feels modern and comfortable and the location is great, close to the train station, the city centre and the metro.
unfortunately there was one unpleasant situation. i was staying in a shared room which itself was nice and quiet, and the bathroom was inside which was convenient. it looked like my other roommates were two men, which made me a bit uncomfortable but i didn’t think much of it since i was only there for one night. however, during the night there were some very uncomfortable noises coming from the bed below me and it became clear what was going on. it made me feel really uneasy and i just wanted to leave.
i understand this isn’t necessarily the hotel’s fault, but it would really help to have female-only shared rooms. something like this could still happen, but i would definitely feel safer and more comfortable.

Breakfast was included and has a long duration (6 to 10am) which is great! Breakfast area is small but has everything you need. Location is fantastic, super close to city center and Gare Matabiau, and there is also a Carrefour city supermarket within 1 min on foot for everything you might need. I will definitely stay again!
Walls are a little bit thin so I was trying to not talk too loudly on the phone (sorry to my neighbours).
Also I am used to 3-star hotels abroad having some essentials (toothbrush, small toothpaste, bathroom kit essentials), but only handsoap and shampoo/body shower gel was provided. It was not an issue though as I went to the supermarket next door and got what I needed.

Not a fault of the hotel, but it was overrun by noisy young adult, teenage guests, lacking manners or consideration. The receptionist was at their last straw by the time I checked in.
Lack of sound proofing means between the road and the guests it is very noisy in the rooms.

A great place to stay for a traveler on the go. The hotel is directly across from the train station, with easy access to the city. My room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff were helpful and kind.
I was a little nervous being on the fourth floor, so I was thankful for the tiny elevator, which made getting to my room easy. I also appreciated the air conditioning during the heat of the day.
I met travelers from around the world, which added to the experience. This is a great choice if you want a simple, no-frills place to lay your head while exploring Toulouse, or neighboring cities.
Only a single towel and wash cloth, though I didn’t ask for another one. The hotel was hot and there was ongoing construction.

I'd asked for a quiet room and that was provided, but with a twist. Finding the room was a hunt! There are two parts of the old buildings connected and one must go through a door/window out on a balcony through another door to the other building? Terrible signage and layout of the entire building for this process.
Overall the rooms appear to be good sized for European hotel rooms. Bathroom was also good sized.
This was part of a larger booking of 5 total rooms. I'd spoken with staff members about holding our luggage for 11 persons (1 small suitcase and 1 backpack per person, but still a lot of stuff) for a few hours after check out. They all said not a problem. When we returned to get our things from the same man who stowed our things and checked us out of the hotel, he thought that we were checking in. It was stressful and confusing. Again, this was the same person who had handled this for us about 5 hours previous. I'm still unsure what the issue was.

Free use of the espresso machine all day and night is an excellent perk.
Location is directly across the street from the Gare and the drop off/pick up from the airport shuttle is also across the street. Prime location.
The exterior of the building is covered in scaffolding and has been for years. I should have known this as I have stayed in the hotel next door for nearly a decade, but this one had superior reviews. The interior courtyard also has the same scaffolding. Additionally, the 2 parts of the building are connected through a door/window that one has to go outside and then in to get to the other part. Yes, very old buildings have quirks, but this layout just needs much better signage.
The elevator. There is a lift, yes. Do not recommend unless absolutely necessary.

Rooms had everything needed including being able to open the windows. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and will keep your bag during the day for you. The common sitting area is very useful and the location directly opposite the main train terminal and airport bus, but still within easy walk of everything, is fantastic.

Location and comfortable beds.
Unfortunately The AC was not working properly. The room temperature never cooled down and it did not feel very comfortable while sleeping and getting ready in the morning.

Staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable. Location directly in front of the station.
Room was dirty (hairs all over the bathroom, holes in the curtains). Massive building work directly outside our window. Bathroom door was super loud.

Stayed here watching the Rugby League as part of a lads weekend away. Rooms were good. Clean and staff very friendly. Good location for the station, city centre and the pubs.
Only downside was the lift was small and only one lift. Stairs are quite steep.
