A bit tired and old fashioned.

Location was Great, near train station and near conference centre. Good for local bars and restaurants. Hotel itself, quite dark, bar, poorly equipped and service poor. Stayed with colleagues for 3 nights. Rooms basic, but clean. Stairs to reception quite dangerous with lights coming on when you are already in the staircase. Breakfast was OK, with most essentials. A good 3 *, but not at the rated 4* level. Night reception staff, breakfast staff friendly . Location good for business travellers.

Very good location near the central station and at walking distance of the old town. Good facilities and clean rooms. Nice staff.
The room and bathroom were small. While breakfast was adequate, there was no staff available for questions. I requested a parking space, but it was not possible to reserve one. Upon arrival, I was informed that all parking spaces were taken, so I had to leave the car outside, which I wanted to avoid because of our belongings inside.

The bathroom was clean and modern, the location very central and private safe parking was available.
The stay was adequate as were the facilities, however the room window was in front of the breakfast terrace and didn’t feel very private , given that I booked over a month ago I would have expe not to be given one of the worst located rooms in the hotel. There also seemed to be a mix up up with my booking.

Location is a bit out but reflected in the price. Main issue has been the unexpected payment taken by the hotel which they refused to acknowledge. Subsequently managing the issue with booking.com but the customer service team has been very inconsistent and slow in sorting the overpayment.

The room was very spacious, clean and confortable, with the necessary amenities for a city stay.
The receptionist Jonathan was unprofessional and rude. On arrival, we asked for a parking space, and we were given one (number 4). When we got there, the space was occupied, so we parked on an avaliable space and went to the reception to say that. When we got there (around 1h after our arrival), other customers were checking in, so we briefly informed that we had parked on number 5. Jonathan started being rude out of nowhere, saying that he had just given number 5 to somebody else, so we couldn't be there and had to park on a public park out of the hotel. We reminded him that he had given us a parking space earlier and that other spaces were available, and asked where should we park then. He then started speaking louder and being passive-agressive, pointing to a billboard with public parks, saying "I am very busy, too many people here, park there" and "You are going out, so you can take the car".
This is a shame, especially regarding the professionalism and kindness of other reception members (such as Louise and another men whose name we can't remember). In our perspective, this is unacceptable when working with the public.

Friendly staff on arriving, also I the morning when leaving for anneals walk with the dog.
Breakfast had a wide variety of options, traditional with some extra details - local cheese, soja&almond drinks. There’s also an underground parking available.
To get out of the garage can be tricky, though we managed.
The coworker doing the check out was probably still being trained - he didn’t wore a shirt/uniform and he didn’t ask the expected questions, like how we liked our stay, neither wishing us a pleasant trip home.
As we all were apprentices once, it didn’t influence our overall experience, we enjoyed our stay a lot and definitely will come back next time we visit Tours.

Very friendly reception staff, helped us park as our van wouldn't fit in the car park, allowed us to leave our bikes in the meeting room overnight. We were upgraded so had a lovely big room, the bed and bedding was the most comfortable ever! Very nice bathroom, kettle and selection of teas and coffee machine. Was very impressed and would definitely stay again. Bear in mind the headroom for the car park is less than 2m so a bit tight if you're driving a van or impossible! But street parking was available at a reasonable cost.
There was nothing to dislike, we loved our stay only thing to bear in mind the headroom for the car park is less than 2m so a bit tight if you're driving a van or impossible! But street parking was available at a reasonable cost. Thank you.
The staff haven't any consideration for disabled people, were unhelpful and downright rude
Parking for disabled a long walk from the lift whilst able bodies parking is outside the entrance, the staff were horrendous, I believe it's because we're English, thoroughly discriminating, if you don't want English people or disabled people staying you should say so in the description. The beds were hard and lumpy and the duvet had a hard thick strap taping it together in the duvet cover, very odd. The reception staff day and night really had no time for me and tried very hard NOT to understand me regardless of me attempting with pigeon French. English is the international business language try harder!

We weren’t very happy with the hotel and don’t feel it was worthy of a 4 star rating.
Air conditioning didn’t work; decor was very dated; hallway had an odour to it; there was no privacy in the bathroom as it didn’t have a proper door; parking facility was not convenient as it only had one remote control for everyone to use which had to be returned to the hotel before driving off.
