The place is well accessible. Also they had sent different instructions should we arrive later in the evening together with a general guide on the different facilities on and around the site. Also there was an emergency contact in case of need during the nights as the reception is not manned 24/7. The rooms were tidy and comfortable.
Apparently in front of the property there is where all the refuse bins are placed belonging not just to the property but to other entities too. The place has an overflow and spillage of rotting garbage and liquids. This is emitting a very foul odour and the stench wafts right inside the reception area of the property. The property advised that this cannot be remedied as this place has been allotted by the municipality to the immediate users in that area. However, possibly the municipality can be advised that this is creating an untenable situation so they could ensure to remove garbage more frequently and also task to clear the over spilled matters should they be unable to relocate the bins.

1. The lobby smelled horrendous and made me want to throw up. Other guests explained it was due to the garbage dispensing location. I thought it was cigarettes/old wet carpet….. very tough smell!
2. I was approved for a double bed but thought I was approved for an earlier check in. Wish email had been clearer.
3. Otherwise, it was fine. There’s this stairwell that I used that was so dirty (cobwebs, etc). I was trying to find an exit without going through lobby….

The Hotel Entrance and reception isn't the grandest you'll ever see. The hotel itself has a "student halls of residence" feel to it but the room was big enough, Think it was referred to as a Studio Appartment so, we had a balcony. Not much of a view front or rear of hotel but good to be able to go on balcony on a hot summer night. Small but tidy kitchen and bathroom. Bed was comfortable. TV was decent 32" on the wall opposite the bed. Portable AC Unit was much appreciated although the output hose had to be draped across the floor and out through the opened balcony door (small price to pay during the heatwave in August 22) Facilities wise there isn't any leisure facilities on site. Didn't use their breakfast option as we preferred to go into town (Continental breakfast are always disappointing anyway) There was a vending machine for cold drinks and snacks in the hallway and hot drink fdacilities in the room
Overall it was better than expected and I would definitely come back again. Really good value for money and only a two minute walk to the centre of town (Tours is lovely by the way- nice weekend break)
Minor grumble... Parking is hit and miss. There is no carpark at the hotel itself, but there is street parking at the end of the road just have to be lucky otherwise you might have a 5-10 minute walk. It's safe enough though.

It was no possible to leave the luggage in the hotel the last day, beacuse the recpetion is not always open. So we had to pay an extra to leave the luggage in another hotel.

The rooms were comfortable and well laid out. It was nice to have an actual kitchenette in the room. We took two rooms on the 5th floor because they both had a balcony and it was perfect. Plus the hotel was incredibly close to the train station for our early morning departure
I got confirmation that we would be able to check in between 1 and 2 pm. When we got there at 1pm the reception was closed for lunch and no key was in the lock box for us. We waited around until reception reopened at 2pm and then were told we couldn't check in until the usual check in time of 3pm. This lack of valid check-in information was inconvenient but all in all I would definitely stay there again.

Easy to access and staff rang as we were arriving out of hours and explained everything and that went very smoothly. This is a very large aparthotel site, it is huge, just near the Tours main train station. The beds were comfy and it was functional like a hotel room really but with a small kitchen too. We paid extra for a balcony but not necessary as were out all the time. The place is so big you might need to use two lifts to get to the room. it was busy with people coming and going all the time but quiet at night so no parties. There is parking at this place. if you have a car, take the parking option but read below. BTW, parking in central Tours is a nightmare, impossible to get a place in the streets around and very very expensive (30 euros for 3 hours is one example). This aparthotel place offers all day and night parking for 8 euros a day but it's on the roof and round the back of the building-see below for details!
So, this is near the Main Train station at Tours with a student and or migrant population which is nothing bad, just to state it. It's in an end of town that just next to a big cinema as well. I was approached by two men begging and being persistent following me and it felt intimidating, that was when i was a female alone. I didn't feel I wanted to be on my own walking there after dark as a woman. I was with friends all the time after that, but my male friend said he felt comfortable. The car park is steep and my friend pulled up the place to collect keys and damaged his car on the very low and non noticeable bollard in front of the building and then the car park is so steep it can hurt your exhaust under your car, so take it very very slowly as we scraped the bottom of the car going up the many flights of car park floors as the place's car park is on its roof so it's well up there.

Our room faced the street - sometimes there was a lot of noise in the middle of the night. There were other rooms that didn't face the street and I am sure they would have been much quieter.

The breakfast was good and appropriate for the cost. Location was hard to find and extremely difficult to leave!! Our sat nav couldn’t cope.
The ramps to the carpark were not good and our car - Toyota Prius - scraped badly on arriving and leaving. Consequently we did not visit the chateaux as planned.
It would have been helpful to know there are 2 lifts. We entered the building too early and traveled to the 5th floor but could not find our room. Maybe say enter through gate between parking 2 and 3 along open air path.

Good location, good staff. If you need to park in advance. We arrived at 9 on Saturday. No staff can enter the parking lot because no key card. Messages went from Saturday to Monday, no response. There are no more employees on Sundays. I have to book an Indigo parking lot. Monday I went to book a parking lot, pay 8 € it is located the right building, the corner, the inside the left, the left hand up to the 5th floor. The hotel's 2nd floor deck is accessible to the building from the rooftop.
It's very difficult to contact the staff on the holidays. When there is a problem that can't be reached, it's very difficult. The air in the room rarely vents. There's a kitchen but no knife.

Terrible cleaners. Floor wasn’t washed, bathroom stank of urine, floor sticky throughout and you couldn’t not walk barefoot in the room. I had to use shower gel and a towel to clean as best I could so that the room was useable.
There was no reception on a Sunday so was really difficult to find our room. It’s connected to student accommodation, so I had to knock on someone’s door to help me find the second lift.
Paid for parking. Was really difficult to find the space; the levels weren’t marked.

Room was a very good size (one of the few with a balcony). Location was handy for an early train in the morning. Bed was large and comfortable.
We've no idea what went on here. Our key was supposed to be in a safe at the entrance, but it wasn't there. We had to call and wait for help. We were told the room had a problem and we were shown a double room without balcony. When I pointed out that we booked a room with balcony, things got very confusing. 10 minutes later they returned to give us a room with a balcony. If we hadn't stood our ground we would have been fobbed off with the wrong (cheaper) room. We can't make any sense of it but it felt like some shenanigans were going on here. It's not what you want after a long travel day.

Whilst the outside of the building is not very attractive, the rooms are more than satisfactory, each has a balcony, kitchen area and a good bathroom. The location, near to the railway station and town centre, is ideal. A few minutes walk to many bars, shops and restaurants. The tram stop is a few minutes walk away. Parking is in an adjacent multi story car park - 8 euros er day.
The one way system in the town seems to have been recently changed and that, together with rush hour traffic, made the arrival a little stressful. I suggest that visitors use Google Maps as this was more up to date that our satnavs. Breakfast in the hotel was included but the staff didn’t seem able to judge how much food to provide and supplies of bread, pastries, coffee etc ran out. The assistant seemed to disappear to a nearby shop and return with one baguette at a time - strange. None the less we enjoyed what we had!
