This is a quiet location with not much of interest in the area, but there is plenty to do in the hotel/resort. It covers a large area with lovely gardens and grounds. The buffet food was very good.
The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. We do not like having a shower over the bath, it is not safe stepping in and out . Water ran hot and cold intermittently.

There are 2 hotels Iberostar, close situated, on a surface of many hectares, situated on a large rock near the sea, consisting of a main building and many bungalows Greek-houses type. Most of the tourist came from France and Germany, half of them over 65 y old. Good position, very clean, nice pools, small beaches available, green and flowers everywhere. Some people from the staff try to do their best
A lot of reasons why I will not come back:
1.I have payed half-board. For dinner they didn't give anything to drink, except for all inclusive, and bottled water was at the price of 1.5 l Diesel !!!. Their wine was of low quality. Despite asking for long trousers at dinner, half of the people came in shorts and tongs. Reservations were needed for the table, however nobody respected them - the only thing working for a table on the terrace was tipping the waiter. Guys from grill/roast sector should be sent back to cuisine school.
2. Electricity was working in the rooms only when a magnetic device connected to the key was there. This means most of the day no fridge, no A/C, no charging of cell phones and tablets. I asked for one such spare device - answer was no for reasons of "economy"
3. Low offer of Tv channels, only 50 of them, among which half non functional. BTW some 3-4 Russian channels, among them Rossya24
4. Wifi working good in the main building, erratic in the bungalows and near the pools
5. Entertainment...??? maybe due to the start of the season

The whole place is exceptional in quality, service. look and feel. Excellent variety and quality of food. Terrific facilities and landscaped surroundings, easy to navigate and lots of choice (pools/beaches/etc). We were upgraded to the 'Presidential Suite' from 2 Waterfront bungalows - hugely appreciated. Its one of the best resorts we've (parents + two children (16/21)) ever visited.
Of special note, the Animation team are incredibly professional, hard working and seriously talented. The Animation evening entertainment in the Theatre was also of a really high standard, far exceeding other similar events. Non 'Animation' / 'external' shows were far less successful however. The onsite Animation team should be cherished.
The bar in the Creta Marine would function much better in the evening if the lights were dimmed / lessened to create a more relaxing environment. Having high light levels doesn't support the function of the bar at this time. It would also then relate better to the external terrace area and be more cohesive and appropriate.
The separation of the Panorama from the Marine seems a little artificial. Flexibility between the two 'sister' facilities would make more sense. Reasons given were regarding Covid restrictions, but this didn't really make sense. Not a major issue and may be driven by other factors not understood.
Small point - the main general shop in the Creta Marine seems to be missing an opportunity to be better and more comprehensively stocked. It has a captive audience but felt slightly 'skeletal' in its offer.

We spend part of our honeymoon at Iberostar Creta Marine.. and we were amased. The property is very beautiful and clean, the food is good, the staff speak English, French an German so fluent, some of them also speak italian, spanish, ukranian. Entertainment is great. Nastya, Ganni, Rafa, Assya, Fabiola - they are all super cool. Animatiin is the heart of the hotel, making it different from the other brands.

The location it was a bit remote, the staff will call you up in your room to ask how the room is, verry annoying if you are sleeping at that time.Because of the renovations, we had no mirror in the bathroom.... if you don't respect the dress code at dinner they will annoy you.

5. Bodyguard in main pool doesn't speak english at all

Resort stretched within well kept beautiful mediterranean garden with big variety of palms, trees, bushes and flowers. We chose one of sheltered lagoons for perfect sea swim in calm water. One could also swim out into the unsheltered area and enjoy floating in the waves or snorkelling as some guests did. Free sunbeds and umbrellas available on the beach. Nice pools which we didn´t take advantage of though as we prefer the sea. Friendly staff and tasty food for breakfasts and dinners, for these with daily varied offer. We enjoyed a relaxing week at sea.
We took advantage of beach bar above the lagoon for drinks such as frappé, cola, lemonade and beer, but missed an offer of fruit or vegetable bowls or salads or some simple dishes (here there were just some sandwiches or pastries). There is a great offer of these for b´fast and dinner, but some would be appreciated at the beach bar also during the day.

Pool is great but we we not in the peak season, when I believe the number of chairs is not enough for everyone.
Food is good, but we were expecting more Greek cuisine - they most likely make it general so it pleases more guests.
The Vegghera restaurant has ok food, if you miss the chance of eating there, you are not missing much!
The drinks in the bar could be better and sometimes I wish we had more options in terms of snacks - only sandwich and donuts were offered in the pool bar.
I missed toiletries in the room, maybe it would be a great addition.

Very modern, clean yet comfortable. Beautiful gardens and environment. Loved the 8 private beaches (including the ones from the other Iberostar resort). You were really able to feel peaceful and calm.
The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Also, the small grocery store in the resort is fantastically convenient!
The food was okay, in the main dining area it did feel quite ‘overwhelming’ at some points with the amount of people.

Room was huge and decor was very nice. Everything is very well presented. Beds were really comfy, slept really well. Location is really good for nearby beaches (we had a car though). Food was all really tasty. Snorkelling around the resort is really interesting.
Waited quite a while to be shown to our room upon arrival when we would have quite happily have been on our way quicker ourselves if we were pointed in the right direction. Also first time eating at the buffet dinner, no one was on the door to tell us how anything worked, so we had to awkwardly work things out. Kind of annoying that you couldn't get your own drinks at dinner (even if it was just water). Lighting in room had the option to be toned down (maybe before bed) but was still really bright..... which kind of defeats the object? Sounds like a lot of negative but mainly just small things that could be fixed to improve the experience!

Pools did not open until 10am which as a white Northern European and wanting to be out of the sun at midday limited use of the pool - had rules that were not enforced as some people swam before 10 and nothing was said and no shorts at dinner as advised when checking in were not enforced- either do away with the rules or enforce them

Extraordinary. The food, the drinks, the infrastructure, the different restaurants and bars, you never feel crowded which is very important in the high season. The staff is very nice, especially Marietta from the cocktail bar with view of the sea.
The only thing they need to improve is the labelling of the various foods at the buffet restaurant. Some foods do not have a label, others have a wrong one... Complicated when you have food allergies.

We liked the food. We liked the tipe of the village. It was large with 3 beaches and many swimming pools. We like also the intertament . The staff was friendly and helpful.
We didn't like the working hours of the beaches and the pools 10:00-18:00. In clab like this it's not acceptable.

Rooms in a good condition.
1. We have been in this hotel for 14 nights, 2 adults and 2 children . All of us got poisoned due to hotel sanitaric conditions (vomiting, diarrhea) during the stay in different dates and one of the children got it twice. We were told by the stuff that many people who stay in this hotel get poisoned as well and We even met a child who got the same symphtoms
2. This hotel is converting bath water to irrigated one and there is a cleaning facility for that in the hotel area. But every time irrigation is activated, there ia a very bad smell nearby. Maybe its somehow related to sanitaric issue stated above
3. There are many mosquitos in the evening, that prevent balcony usage at all. Its strange that this 5☆ hotel did not install any UV lamps or other methods to solve it
4. Sheets are not exchanged every day due to their shortage
5. Both pillows in our bedroom were very hard. Usually in 5☆ hotel there are hard and soft pillows provided
6. Water prices during the dinner are completely exaggerated. 3 euros for bottle of water that costs 80 cents in a nearby shop?

The food was delicious and varied, with lots of options for any dietary restrictions and preferences. We particularly liked the variety of daily fresh fruit. The pools were also very nice, the pool bar is a great addition for having a relaxing drink. The entertainment team was very fun and engaging, the entire staff was super nice and friendly.
The room only had partial sea view, facing the kid's pool area :(. The bathroom fan didn't work, so there was no way to let the steam out after a shower, because the small window was blocked. Also, even though checkout time was at 11.00, one staff member let himself in the room at 10.30, without even knocking at the door first. This was quite rude, hopefully this is an isolated incident.

Rooms were new ,clean and the best part of this resort.
The check in process was overly complicated and intrusive.The so called beach areas were terrible and not what you would expect for a BEACH resort. Those coves were extremely small, very rocky, far from the rooms and were not well supported or maintained by the resort. They looked more like abandoned quarry’s than beach
The pool areas were overcrowded and removed towels from chairs set anywhere before 10:30am. Even if you just step away to eat. Rules were not explained but experienced. Also the towel exchange had very limited hours.
If you are not on an all inclusive plan prepare to be overcharged for everything. They are a bit remote so I guess they feel they’ve got you and definitely take advantage of the fact. To the extent that even water is not offered with the half board dinner. I don’t mean bottled just tap.

A truly unforgettable experience, beyond expectations, and absolutely worth choosing this amazing hotel for your stay! Additionally, I just want to point out a very important detail that simplified our vacation in terms of communication: many of the staff spoke Slavic languages and were very polite. That’s a big advantage for me.

The property was clean and beautiful.
Although the property was clean, it did not have any local charm or culture. Since it’s a huge all inclusive it lacked warmth and felt like a Florida Timeshare. Although we paid for half board, when we went to book our reservations for food, all dining spaces were fully booked. We had to get special permission to have dinner. When we checked in we were not informed that even the buffet required reservations days in advance. I would chops a hotel that reflected the beauty and warmth of Greece, not this HUGE complex will so many people that it never felt peaceful
