1. One of the. best stays so far. We traveled with 11 month baby. The staff always comunicated with baby, asked how are we doing if everything ok. Thay always were very polite helpful and comunicable. We felt very special and happy.
2.The food was amazing, few different kinds of fresh cheese, yogurt, boiled vegetables, different kinds of fish, meat. A lot of fresh fruits topings and desserts. Everyone can find something tasty and fresh
3. The hotel teritory is huge, many places to sit down and watch at the see, different areas to eat, many activities (at the pool, bar, live music at the restaurant...) . You can spend all day at the hotel and still find something new.

Very good and varied food, interesting animations, nice and helpful hotel service, stunning view from room to sea. We booked bungalow with seaside view, we got with view but it in second row, we asked for room in first line which we got and it was very nice.
Bungalows smells bad, they need a renovation. Maybe rooms in hotel are better, but bungalows in 4* Iberostar should looks better. So everything besides rooms was perfect.

It is the fourth time we came to Iberostar. But this time was very disappointing.
First the mattress in our room was bad. Only after our second night they changed it. Then we arrive after a day out at the beach at 16:00 and our room is not serviced. The food is also not the same standard than it used to be. Variety is less than before. We will not go back

Perhaps the beach chairs are always occupied; guests leave their towels on them all day, even if they are not there. Therefore, we only went to the beach in the afternoon, which is better because the sun is not too hot at that time. We didn't use the swimming pools because they were crowded; instead, we used the smaller one for kids. We would have preferred to have a greater variety of beef cuts.

The grounds are well maintained
The staff from reception was just plain out rude. I ask to be relocated but without succes. The say they will contact me, never did. Raised the same issue at reception several times but was ignored. Agreed to pay extra only to change room but again nothing. they were more focused on the fact that they made an upgrade from garden to sea view but did not consider the fact that the room 3108 was at the far end of the complex and it was a challange to get to the beach with a 1 year old.

The food is very poor quality! There are many options at the buffet, but all are either canned or made in bulk several hours before and very mushy! The staff is constantly eyeing you to see what you are eating and asking you what plan you were on. Very commercial and poor service. The check in managers do not give any information and there are many surprise charges added as you stay! Ask questions before you eat or do anything!

Stunningly beautiful gardens. Majority of staff were welcoming and kind. General manager was very accessible and made genuine effort to resolve issues.
General condition of room was very poor. Decor was dated and looked a bit tired. Apparently 70% of Iberostar properties have been refurbished recently, but clearly not this one. Very few plug sockets - none with USB socket. In room safe too small to take a laptop and at an extra charge of 3 Euro per day. Mattress was foam which I was very surprised to find. A "topper" was added but was only a small improvement to a very poor bed. T.V had very limited channels, predominately current affairs and very limited in English. Wi-Fi so poor that at times was not useable. Air con effective but old unit which was not quiet enough. Nothing supplied in mini bar, not even water. (We were "All Inclusive"). Toilet seat in bathroom broken. Main restaurant food was poor. Hot buffet not hot enough and no warmed plates. Soft drinks were all full sugar other than "Pepsi Max". House wine was not at all pleasant. Egg station was very poor; all eggs cooked "over easy", request for "sunny side up" declined. Omelette made from weak mixture, no pre-cooking of ;ham, peppers, onions, before adding to the griddle. Advised at check in all other A la Care restaurants fully booked. Intervention from General Manager needed in order to obtain a place. (Food here was much better but, hot food served on stone cold plates.) Sunbeds at main pool all reserved by same guests with towels despite clear instruction not to do so.

If dinner is included in price then consider that they charge you for cheap box wine and fresh juice. In middle of dinner they run to you with check. For a sake please let me finish my meal or add some signs what is included and what is extra. Oh no i dont know if this shrimp is included or the lady with checkbook hunts me down again.
Pools are closed so early because lifeguard duty ends - most time he was watching movies from phone, then got bored and left for over a hour. There was clear sings that no jumping in kids pool but nobody cared about it and lifeguard was also sleepy.
There was sings everywhere that reservations for sunbeds are prohibited but nobody seems to care about it. 7.30 am there was towels in every sunbed and hotel staff did not seem to care about it.
The room - wow it was banger. Toilet door all most fell of the hinges, all the rooms was very worn. I have been better 3-star hotels in India - i think that tells it all.

The resort deserves 5 stars! Huge beautiful territory, very clean and well maintained. Well organized facilities! Lagoons are not naturally made, but very well designed and make their job. No waves at any sea state and the water is crystal clean at all the times. The food is at the good level! Always fresh and tasty with lots of varieties… Maine restaurant offers different international cuisine for the dinner. Good alcoholic drinks for all inclusive, with the known brands and proper amount of alcohol!
The staff is fabulous! Always smiling, always friendly and makes the guest feel special. Ready to help with any descent or the smallest issue. Animation is at the high level! Fluent at many languages and every evening you could expect to be entertained by comic show, concert, dance show or a fire show… Safe and free of charge private parking. Stunning sea view from nearly every part of resort!!!
After check out and disappointment with another 5-star hotel couldn’t come back, as they were already overbooked!!! :( For sure will come back when visiting Crete.

Our stay here was out of a movie. Just after we arrived we were welcomed with a glass of champagne, a red rose for my wife and some chocolate from the house. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to the room we booked. We got a very nice bungalow with an incredible view. They remembered it was my wife’s birthday and we got an amazing dinner at the A la carte restaurant with more roses, an entire bottle of champagne and they got my wife a cake and sang her Happy birthday at the end of the night. The beaches and the surroundings of the property are just amazing, very beautiful. The food was very very good and you had a lot of options. All in all an incredible and perfect vacation. The only thing we regret is not having booked more days there. We will definitely come back.

Everything about this hotel is complicated. We were on the All Inclusive regime and even then we could only take 1 bottle of water to the room. Of the 4 days we stayed, 2 rained the whole day. There's nothing to do in this hotel when it's raining. children to adults completely bored. It does not have 1 heated pool. A hotel of this size without any heated pools. The outside pools are impossible to enter. Cold nonsense. The opening hours of the restaurants were not respected. We were at All Inclusive and at various times we didn't have anything we could eat. We had to stay at the bar asking for drinks snacks. The hotel is far from everything so we went to enjoy the structure that in the case of rain we didn't have.

The hotel buffet food was some of the best that I have ever had. The food was fantastic. The Master Chef and his staff did such a great job cooking different items every day. The hotel spa was also well worth it. Spectacular sunsets.
The Half board does not allow free soda's, you have to pay for them if you want a soda at any of the bars. If you want all drinks, you will have to pay for all-inclusive. The hotel is not close to Rethimno. It was stormy weather so not much to do outside.

Everything about it was exceptional. The surroundings full of nature. The palm trees everywhere. The cleanness. The choice of food. The location beside the sea.
No provision of an iron , which I thought that was a bit off to pay extra money for the laundrette to iron for people.
The spa (sauna and jacuzzi) guests have to pay extra to use them. Some Iberostar hotels eg in Marbella and Marlloca , the spa could be accessed by anyone.
There are water activities, such as water gym but a physical gym should be present for those guests you can’t use the pool as the gym.

-we also appreciated a lot the staff, very courteous, helpful and friendly.
-a lot of options for breakfast, lunch, dinner.
-the fact that there is a minimarket at the resort.
-the fact that there is a bus stop just outside the hotel and car rental options at the hotel (we chose Arkadi and everything went smoothly).
-it is a calm resort with a lot of greenery surrounding it, perfect to hide from the sun. The outside is magnificent and well maintained.
-the furniture in the rooms (wardrobe, desk, nightstand, chairs, sofa) and in the lobby (sofas) are in a dire need of a change. Old and not comfortable. Ancient safe. Ancient key system.
-poor sound insulation in the rooms.
-carton orange juice for breakfast was a big disappointment. Instant coffee at the coffee machines instead of using coffee grains, another disappointment for a 4* hotel.
-despite the fact that clients are asked not to reserve sunbeds, there were people placing their towels early in the morning, especially at the coves where there are limited sunbeds anyway.

What not to like?! Location, staff, food, amenities, activities. A true paradise. We visited with 2 kids. So many pools, a kids club, fun fun and fun for everyone.
The food was really good and the staff were extremely kind!!!!!

Staff were lovely and accommodating any queries we had were resolved, the buffet food was really good so much variety to choose from. Night time entertainment was good, we enjoyed the live band and the beach party.
We wasn't happy about the room size, as from the pictures it looked as if we had two adjoining rooms with a balcony. on arrival we had only one of the rooms from the picture, therefore all four of us were cramped into one tiny space which was uncomfortable. Booking.com should check the photos they advertise are correct and don't mislead costumers in future.

The best part of our stay was the staff! We got all the information we needed. Sometimes you could sense, that they were tired, but even then they were helpful beyond expectation.
You need to make a reservation for dinner, in all 3 restaurants, but you can also enter without a reservation to the main restaurant (if it's not full).
They have 3 main beaches for swimming, the one on the left was our favorite. But It was not so easy to find a free sunbed.
Also 5 pools, 1 for kids and 1 inside-pool, which was not open during our stay. But main pool was enough for us.
As It's described in its name, view was insane!
Despite being told not to reserve the sunbeds, there are still many guests who are reserving them and returning within an hour or more.
The rooms looked older than the general hotel and the soundproofing was very poor. You could hear the sounds of talking and flush from the next room.

Hotel is very big, have many facilities, the evening program and shows are good. Garden is beautiful and the view is amazing.
We have arrived late, around 9PM. The bell boy did not have a cart to load the bags. On the reception they decided it's great to advertise all hotel services, even tough they saw that we have two small kids that are very tired. We needed to rush to restaurant so we can grab late dinner, actually by the time we get there the staff started to collect all food. After that we had to wait more at the reception, I have asked if we can get to the room as my kids want to go to bed. When we arrived at the room, we have found out that there is a bunk bed. The room was specified as deluxe bungaloo but we have not see any idication for bunk bed, additionally there was no picture of such bed. Needless to say that small kinds can not sleep safe on such bed, there was no proper guard and ladder as well. In the night the room was full with mosquitos as the net on the window was fallen.
In the morning we strated to the beach to find out that this is artificial lagoon made from concrete, no sand but some rocks and just few sunbeds.

We really liked the food at the main restaurant, especially the dinner. Our teenage son enjoyed different activities and animation. The hotel's grounds are very well-maintained and offer breathtaking sunset views.
The room was quite outdated. The water in the toilet was running nonstop. When we asked to move to another room, our request was refused. We had to wait till the end of the weekend to get the toilet fixed. Other things that we did not like included extra charges for soft drinks during dinner, although we were at HB. The poor quality of coffee and other drinks and beverages.

Amazing hotel, perfectly located to scout northern part of Crete. Is has almost everything you might want. Great Aquapark for kids, multiple pools, very comfortable bungalows, and very fine options to eat. Cool animation teams for the day and evenings.
Weird system for booking restaurants, even for a general one you need to reserve your time. Also their beach is quite a big stones and hard to get into the water, it really needs to be cleaned and sanded. In the end we spent our beach time on Episkopi and Peristeras beaches, 30-40min drive from the hotel.
