Lovely hotel. Our room was quiet, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Staff, particularly in the restaurant and bar, were excellent. We had a couple of meals and the food was great. Hotel is well located just outside Cork, with easy access from the airport and for the east and north of the city. We stay here reasonably often and always enjoy being in the hotel. The only point to note is that you need a car, the hotel is sufficiently far from the city, shops etc to make this a necessity.

Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable. Exceptionally friendly and obliging staff. The place oozed relaxed, easy-going charm mixed with very high standards of decor and cleanliness. In some aspects it was more like a 5 star hotel.

I arrived early; my wife, much later. The hotel is very elegant. The room was comfortable. The bar does great pizza which I decided to eat in the room. The room has a desk avd a chair avd a coffee table. All very comfortable for pizza and a bit of Netflix while waiting for my wife to arrive. Later, I charged my car. Very pleased to find two rapid chargers and two slow chargers, that can just be tapped with a debit card (if I remember rightly). There’s a wide range of breakfast items to fill you for much of the day. This was my second stay avd I’d be happy to stay there again.
Can’t think of anything. It’s a lovely hotel for an overnight or a weekend.

This was a really lovely hotel a little outside of Cork. The location is nice for a walk along the river but it's quite far outside of town and the surrounding area is a little industrial. However the hotel is tucked out of the way in a little haven.
We stayed for two nights and had one evening meal and one breakfast- both of which were excellent. The staff were all lovely but particular mention to Andrea who looked after us.
There are also lots of great cycle lanes.
The view out of our window was a brick wall and the driveway is really hard to turn left into. The second day we drove a longer way around to avoid turning left into it! It's a very steep turning which thankfully we'd seen mentioned in a review

Heating was quite warm nearly unbearable at times, and neighbouring rooms were quite loud and disruptive however I am aware that is not the fault of the hotel just something to bring attention to.

The breakfast for 18 euros was awesome. Loved it. There wasn't many people so they sit us in a more quiet space which we appreciated. Hotel is a bit of a labyrinth but it was great. Even the bar to get a pint of Guinness. Nothing to complain about.
The only a tiny bit negative thing is that the hotel is further away from the town. So you can't just go for a walk into the close town to go to the pub. But the hotel is very neat and the bar works there greatly. It is a very private space so I think it's great. If you have a car you can get anywhere – it is close to Cork and even Midleton.
