Views of the city were great and staff at reception were friendly.
Very Limited Parking Onsite
Dining Room was not big enough to cater for people at breakfast. We had to wait in queue for 20 minutes in the morning. We had to ask three times for teas and coffee and the buffet breakfast half empty. Also the Eggs Royal was cold and we had to ask it to be returned.

Travelling to see my faithful
Initially, I hadn't realised that the booking was self-catering, which I missed, and I would have appreciated recommendations for local groceries or a greengrocer nearby. It would be ideal to have some basic long-lasting foods available.
Additionally, where does your food waste end up? If there is spare food, which, admittedly, there was a small amount of, where can I responsibly dispose of it or donate it to a nearby cause?

Beautiful hotel, great facilities and very accomodating staff nothing was too much trouble.
The food was also top class (breakfast and dinner)
Only downside was how busy breakfast was on Sunday morning, probably ok if you were an early bird but we went about 10am and had to wait at the bar with quite a few others until tables became available however we appreciate the hotel seemed very busy

Great location and lovely grounds! Also lovely to have gym and spa access
The rooms in the residence were extremely dated and not stylistically in keeping with the rest of the hotel. Also our towels were never changed during a 5 night stay. There were some stains on the bedding. The rooms in general felt tired

The check-in process was quick and efficient and all the staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Ken, the concierge merits a special mention. The room was nicely decorated and immaculate clean.
The lighting in the room was a bit dim and there was no fridge.

Beautiful hotel. Amazing views and wonderful eating and drinking spaces. Staff exceptionally friendly and curteous. The breakfast choices and food quality was exceptionally good! Bravo!
Room was overly hot on first night, so didnt sleep so well. The younger concierge guys could be a bit more friendly, take a few tips from the older/manager guy who was fantastic from the minute we arrived!

I know it as I’ve been many times. It’s comfortable and quiet
I didn’t book breakfast and the girl on check in said it would be €20 if I went down for it the next morning without booking. I was charged €25 and I complained about my omelette but was completely ignored. I did mention to the girl on reception who refunded the breakfast but I did feel that the manager of the restaurant really didn’t care and handled the situation very poorly.

Amazing hotel - everything about it was great! Staff was attentive and ready to answer any questions we had as soon as we walked in the door. We had dinner and breakfast here and really enjoyed both. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. Would recommend to any one looking to travel to Cork.
If I had to have any complaint, it would be that the bar tending staff at the rooftop bar was a little slow. And if you are planning to walk the city, it is a bit of an uphill hike to get back to.

Wow! The staff and amenities were very impressive. Excellent first impression at check-in. The hotel operates a free cinema for guests which plays movies regularly, including new releases. It was an unexpected amenity and we really enjoyed it. The room was comfortable - no complaints.
The location isn’t ideal if you want to get to/from Cork on foot - it is located high in the hills overlooking the city. That said, the hotel more than makes up for this in every other department.

Overall experience with the hotel property, staff and amenities
close to downtown but was a long walk especially uphill on the way back - would have been convenient if there was a shuttle from the hotel to the downtown area on a recurring schedule. However, the walk was good exercise to burn off a meal.

Food and drink is on the high end pricing so just be prepared for that if your planning a stay here. Room service menu and actual availability of food are different so be sure to check before deciding by reading the menu only.
