The hotel is located on one of the city's most beautiful streets. It's a 10-minute walk to the train station and 5-6 minutes to Piazza Nettuno and Piazza Maggiore. The rooms overlooking the street have very nice views and are very pleasant.

About 1-2 hours before our arrival at the hotel and check-in, while we were on the train to Bologna, we received a call and message from the hotel. They said they had moved us to another hotel due to a technical problem. The hotel they said they moved us to was 20 minutes from the city's main squares and the nightly room rate was much, much lower than what we had paid. However, we had booked the hotel weeks in advance, and the payment had been taken from our credit card two days prior, with no refund available. We unequivocally stated that we would never accept such a thing, that we would not go to the other hotel and would stay at our own, and then we went to the hotel. We were quite uncomfortable and uneasy. When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist gave us our room as if nothing had happened. When we asked what the technical problem was, they couldn't answer and didn't even apologize. The staff were cold and indifferent. Apparently, because the hotel was full, they tried to force us to stay at another hotel, and when we refused, they reluctantly gave us the room. It was a very rude and untrustworthy behavior. The hotel's breakfast was very poor for a 4-star hotel, and the breakfast room was very crowded and noisy. When we called reception to ask them to increase the air conditioning temperature because we were cold at night, they refused our request, saying that this was the standard temperature for this time of year.

It was clean, comfortable and location is brilliant for the station, the monorail takes you straight to the airport. Lots of sights, shops and restaurants in your doorstep. Would defiantly stay here again. Would have preferred a room with more natural light, but spent most of my day out- so OK. Breakfast is very good and the staff are very good.

Very clean. I really enjoyed the hospitality of the staff ar the reception and at the breakfast area. Very gentle.

When passing by the cleaning and maintanance staff on the floor, the guys from maintenance made some mean comments in italian at us, probably thinking we wouldn't understand. It didn't affect the quality of the stay, it's just for a 4 star hotel, staff should be aware as to be more discrete and elegant in common/public areas.

The furniture definitely needs refreshing; the golden paint on chairs, wardrobes, etc., is scratched and extremely run-down, and the overall vibe is very unsightly. The smell in the bathroom was musty. Towels were changed every day, even though we kept them on hangers rather than on the floor; the water bottles, on the other hand, were not restocked after the first day. The only nice thing for breakfast was fresh fruit (melon and pineapple); the cakes were too sweet and tasted artificial rather than home-made, and there was no juice, but only sweet drinks. I was very happy that the windows were soundproof, but the inside of the hotel was not. Everything happening in the corridor could be heard very clearly. Additionally, the air conditioner was audible.
