Perfect location, comfortable spacious room with kitchenette in a quiet, secure building. The staff were terrific, and upon arrival (check-in is at their partner hotel, Continental, around the corner) walked us over to our room. They were also very helpful with restaurant recommendations and addressing immediately a minor problem we had. The breakfast was served at the Continental, and because the weather was so lovely, we were able to eat outside each day watching the passers by while enjoying a great complimentary breakfast. Eggs cooked to order, fresh fruit bowl, bread, jams, and much more. We would definitely stay there again!

The only thing to be aware of is, if you are coming by car, is finding the loading zone for check in. Somehow we kept missing it, as it is only a few spots, so ended up circling an extra half hour.

Our check in wasnt smooth. Keep in mind you are not in a hotel and it is an apartment in another building. First of all we didnt know we have to go to intercontinental reception to get the key. There is no way that taxis not familiar with the area to find the hotel. You have to say intercontinental to be able to find it. So we were wandering around until we entered intercontinental to see whether they have any idea and happened to be the right place. The receptionist wasnt very helpful and he didnt even bother to come and show us where exactly the property is..how the keys work he had a bell boy that offered help but he said your shift is over and let him go! we were tired and disappointed but the next receptionist made up to us and at least didnt ruin overall the experience. the breakfast and eggs were not good either!

This apartment is in an old classicist Building in the city's heart. A whole apartment with a kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, everything inside. The centre on foot is in 5 minutes. It is perfect for a young independent couple who love peace and love to take care for ourselves.

It is impossible to park even for the check-in in the street, as it is a play street and it is prohibited just to stand for a while. The reception is in another building in the street, so it is very difficult to find the place. There are 2 places: a hotel with a reception and restaurant and the building with the flats inside. You can park in a parking house 10 minutes walk from the apartment (for extra money). And as it is an apartment, if you need water or chips (food) in the apartment, you should buy them. There is a lift in the building, but before that, there were stairs, so handicapped people could not solve to reach the apartment.

The staff was excellent! The location was perfect for seeing local sites and walking safely. The breakfasts were superb and our wonderful server, Abdul, was not only an excellent and attentive server, but he helped us every time we asked for a direction or needed anything . We always enjoyed our conversations with him and missed him after we left!

I found the room to be a tad too warm for me for sleeping. The heavy blanket/coverlet on the bed was too heavy for summer. The air conditioning was working, however, I prefer cooler room in hot summer. I do realize that the rooms are very high ceiling and we were on the upper floors where heat rises.

Our suite on the third floor was beautifully appointed, high ceilings, spacious rooms, efficient aircon and an excellently fitted kitchen. The only item missing was a corkscrew but that was promptly supplied at Reception. Tall windows on all sides allowed an overview of the streets below and as these were double-windowed the quietness at night allowed for relaxing sleep-ins.

Bad Bad!! service, the manager is terrible and treated us very badly. We had 2 problems, first with the restaurant that we arrived at 8:45 on a Saturday for dinner and they didn't want to serve us and after that we had a time to return the car and they took almost 2 hours to deliver the car.

Loved the character, space and facilities of the studio. Id been seeking and older style building and the studio was perfect. Located right next to COIN and the general shopping area and attached to the Hotel Continentale in the middle of Trieste it was just perfect. The hotel itself was gorgeous and the breakfasts just right with great service and good tasting food.

The shower was a real challenge to operate. I would have liked some berries for breakfast but this is true for Europe generally.

Staff was friendly and helped answer questions we had on how to get to Miramare Castle. The size of the rooms was really nice. Elevator and mini kitchen was a big plus. The location of the hotel was perfect to explore the city,. Our room had a balcony which was a nice bonus. Check-in and check-out is at Hotel Continentale, which is right around the corner.

Toiletries were not provided on day 1. We did receive some handsoap on the 2nd day of our stay. I think the cleaning staff forgot to add it but it was not a big deal for us. Also the hotel room had no iron, which was odd.

We had a large suite in a separate building to the main hotel-it was amazing. A full kitchen with microwave and hob, sink and fridge. Full cleaning service daily. Lift up to the apartment. Very large bedroom and bed very comfortable. We only had a very short walk across a pedestrianised area to the breakfast room in the main hotel.

Although there was a lift up to the apartment, you had to negotiate some steps...about 10 to get to the lift. Therefore , not fully accessible. Power shower was ok but only the handheld bit worked.

It is a stunningly beautiful place. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were traveling with 4 teens (which is a challenge on its own), but they absolutely loved the place. Beautiful location right in the city center. Two great bathrooms, full-size kitchen.

The only problem was the sofa bed, which made a lot of noise every time one of the girls turned. We also thought we had two bedrooms with the sofa bed in an extra living room. That is not the case. The sofa bed is right next to the regular bed in the same room and it was quite small for two almost adult girls (14 and 16).

We were in Trieste to visit with local friends and this hotel was a good choice for our stay. Well located in the center of town with lots of shops, restaurants and services nearby. Valet parking was a plus. And the a la carte breakfast was top drawer. The suite was enormous and well appointed. We were so pleased with everything about our stay at the Palace Suite.

The Palace Suite in Trieste was located right in the center of the town, restaurants and shops. The duplex apartment was absolutely fantastic, a nice kitchen, a large living-room and on the top floor the bedroom with also a bathroom. Everything was perfect, even the small balcony. We will return!

Location was fine and the room nice.

The room was really not ready for occupancy. There was a water puddle on the bathroom floor from a what first looked like a towel warming bar but may have been a heater. After the first night no one check or cleaned the room. We had to enquiry at the front desk to get packets of dehydrated coffee. It was not until we contacted the cleaning person directly that we were able to get the room cleaned and service. The cleaning person did a very nice job and was very helpful.

But what was even MORE than perfect was the staff, particularly VASILY at check in! He is an amazingly aware and perceptive individual, and sensing the need at check in, he instantly took complete control of a situation to ensure my safety. He did this in an unbelievably discrete and professional manner yet with incredible strength and confidence, as well as genuine concern and caring. I don't think I have ever been so impressed with anyone in my life!!! He made me feel completely safe!!! Vasily's actions put this already perfect property off the charts! I cannot say enough!!!
