I am very sorry for my delayed review.
The staff was very very nice and helpful.
Originally, I booked 2 nights, but it turned out that out of sudden I had to book one more night.
I discussed with the personnel (the owner of the place?) whether I could extend my stay one night in the same room. She said of course it is fine, and I paid the original price which I paid for one night previously.
I was very thankful.
The staff was very helpful, they advised me on great locations in the city, how to get from A to B etc.
Location is great!! It is near the bus terminal and train station.
Once I had to go home just before midnight and I was concerned. But since the accommodation is near the train station, I luckily didn't have to walk much.
The property had two cute cats when I stayed there. They are rambling around in the corridors like THE BOSSES. Since I like cats this was a cool and a refreshing sight for me.
Even my pajama T-shirt was folded nicely by the time I returned in the afternoons/evenings. Considerate, nice touch.
Just very minor things.
They provided some teeny-tiny soap on the bathroom sink (in the sparkling clean and comfortable bathroom) - the one accommodation often do. Well, it was lasting only for a short time, so I had to buy one normal soap in a nearby store. But maybe this is standard.
I stayed 3 nights and the toilet paper ran out by the end of my stay. Luckily, I packed some toilet paper for the journey, so I had extra.
Though I think if I had asked for soap and/or toilet paper at the reception counter, they would have given me.

Great location mins from the train and bus station. Fine for a spot over. It's clean and towels are provided. Lovely Indian/kabab shop open late opposite. As well as an incredible ice parlour below. Door is off the main street (a little hard to find).
You have to pay extra (β¬5) to use the Aircon which I think is ridiculous if you are already paying for a room. There is a ceiling fan but it didn't help with the heat as it didn't spin fast enough.

The staff were really lovely and the room itself was very large and spacious. Conveniently located a very short walk to Trieste Centrale train station.
The hotel itself was super basic and felt a little bit unclean. Also our door didn't close properly. The smell of cat litter box when you walk in is very unpleasant, the bathroom was dirty and the space overall just felt really run down and quite gross. I don't think it would take much to spruce this place up and make it a much more pleasant experience for guests (and staff) - literally just some nicer looking bathroom facilities, maybe an air freshener or fresh diffuser, some art or flowers, just basic things.

Excellent location, especially for arriving/departing from the train or bus station. The room was very large with high ceilings. The bed was very large and exceptionally comfortable. Spacious room with great ancient wooden floor. Comfortable beds and everything exceptional clean. Train/bus station nearby and a short walk to main square and the sea. Cafes and Pizza diner round the corner. Big supermarket on the way to train station. We will certainly come back to this cozy accomodation.

It was a good location within walking distance of the city center.
The beds were so hard it was one step up from sleeping on the floor. They were also so loud (like plastic) that my friend and I kept waking each other up every time we moved. I was in the Army and can sleep just about anywhere, but couldnβt manage to do it here.
They also charge 7 euros for the A/C. The person checking us in was nice, but incompetent. She put us in the third floor and after lugging our luggage up there, another staff member told us we were put in the wrong room and were actually on the first floor. Not a big deal if we werenβt so tired from traveling and the heat. She did help us with our bags, but it was annoying. Also, parking is a nightmare. If you have a car, donβt come here.
