Hotel is in a great location Bathroom was nice Staff were polite Breakfast was good

Room was really, really small. We asked for separated beds, got them together, after complaint they were separated but the room is so small that we were still less than 1m from each other. We were separated from the other room just with the locked door (there is no wall there) so I could hear all the noises from that room.

The hotel was like 15 min from the center, so if you are tired it's a bit of a walk and it's uphill. There are loads of buses, though. The hotel is on the fancy side, they use a parking near the hotel but is very small, we had to park in the middle of the "street". We paid for a Superior Double Room, they gave us a corner room right besides the lift (505) with a small window, that barely open overlooking the fire stairs. The room per we was big and comfortable, had a sofa, a fridge and the bed was big. The bathroom was big and had a spa tub, the problem is if you want to shower, there was no curtain so there was water everywhere. The breakfast was less than I was expecting for a hotel of this fanciness and what they charge.

The price, way to expensive (200 for 1 night including the taxes) for the location and amenities.

Good size and very comfortable bedroom. We liked the taps! Only about 200m from an Indian restaurant! Good breakfast. A 10 minute walk to the centre.

All pretty good. I guess if it had been raining it was quite a long walk to the centre. Bar was okayish. Not always manned and staff not always in evidence elsewhere.

Excellent location although parking is tricky/confusing (for Australians). Room was beautiful and very comfortable.

The hotel's temporary parking is insufficient and very tight for a bigger car plus it is near a disabled car park which makes it even more difficult.

We LOVED our stay in this hotel. In the style of an old grand hotel but freshly modernized. We had a corner room with 4 windows and the feeling of looking out over this beauiful city was truly marvelous. Breakfast had everything you could possibly want and the staff was super attentive. The location is close to everything and across the street from Armondo's where we had hand cut ham for lunch every day.

nothing at all.

breakfast and cleanliness and general design of the entire buidling was a huge plus

Yet, I have had trouble with electricity working improperly in my room and it wasn't a single event but it happend more than twice. Upon check-in my key card did not work, after having it recharged and after inserting it I only found out that the lights do not work and same goes for power sockets. I got proper help from the clerk even though it was in the middle of the night. My second situation was more or less the same, but this time another employee was not as helpful and she did not believe that such a problem occured and thought of me as an idiot that does not know how key cards work and that one needs to insert it. In the end the problem disappeared on its own, but it took 15 minutes of waiting for the electricity to come back.

We booked 2 rooms, both supposed to be the same. One room had NO coffee machine & the other room had a machine but we had to request pods for the machine!! also breakfast was included but because we were leaving early they said breakfast wouldnt be open, therefore I asked for breakfast to go. The reception then said they would organise staff for 6am for breakfast for us. I was very appreciative.

Very professional and helpful reception staff - gave us good local tips and info! Decor in room and hotel had charm and felt very comfortable. Excellent location for getting around the centre. A very good breakfast with lovely waiting staff.

Wifi did not work very well. The air conditioning is set on a higher temperature than we would have preferred, coming from the UK, but was still acceptable.

Great on room furnishings and fittings, bed quality and bathroom amenities. Yet the room felt like it was stuck at the bottom of an elevator shaft. No natural light nor the ability to really feel comfortable about opening the doors for fresh air. I liked the room, its cleanliness, the location of the hotel, its elegance, the kindness of the staff. Very quiet room. However, I did not have the pleasure of trying breakfast, as I had not included it in the reservation and I have always preferred to have it with a colleague in a bar in the centre.

Nothing. I don't know how to rate the breakfast. Perhaps the booking instructions on the site are not very clear. For the rest, everything went well.
