The location was away from the really busy tourist areas but it still had a good feel to the area. Also it was close to the water bus route and only a short walk to rialto bridge or the train station. The hotel feels really modern but has loads of original feeling design elements and excellent air conditioning.

Excellent location, very quiet and very central neighbourhood, which is very important in such a touristic city as Venice. Excellent restaurants nearby. Staff very nice and helpful, always paying attention to our needs. The hotel is really nice, with a beautiful breakfast room, and a beautiful large courtyard. Entrance decor and staircase excellent. The room was spacious and the bathroom complete (with bidet) which was a plus. Small supermarket just in front, very convenient. Recommended.

The room we stayed in had not much natural light and dark colours in the walls. We were worried at first that the room was in the ground floor but it proved to be not a problem since it was very quiet.

This property was a cosy and comfortable stay. The location was perfect and very close to transport and a short walk to main attractions. Staff were friendly and accommodating with recommendations on what to see and do.

On the second night we lost power and aircon and when we told staff it was no concern to them. Was a little frustrating however we checked out the next morning. Housekeeping did not attend to our room during our stay to tidy up the rooms or freshen towels.

We booked an apartment, but upon arrival, we found it was in a different location with a separate entrance, which was not clearly communicated during the booking process. Additionally, there was no cleaning service provided throughout our stay, and the apartment felt humid. If we needed fresh towels, we had to request them. The staff was welcoming and helpful: I appreciated a lot their help in booking the private taxi boats between the hotel and the airport. It makes me win time and reduce unnecessary stress. They showed me also the way to my room. - The room was comfortable and splendid. The decoration is the perfect combination. I like also the fact they showcase local crafts such as Murano glass with the lamp. The room was so comfy: no equipment was missing. - The breakfast was delicious and varied: it is not possible to find what you desire for the morning. - The location was a real advantage: the hotel is located around 15 minutes by walking from all the important places: San Marco square, bus station, etc… It is also easy to obtain a taxi boat from there. There are a lot of good restaurants the hotel. Thanks to that, it is easy to have a dinner while avoiding the tourist traps. - The hotel has also a bar and a a phone battery rental service. It is really helpful when we are visiting a lot of touristic places during the day.

I had a wonderful experience at Aquarius Venice. The hotel feels brand new, with freshly renovated rooms and facilities, whilst still maintaining the charms of this beautiful palazzo. The staff was friendly and helpful - specially the breakfast staff who were always very kind and pleasant. The hotel is strategically located a short 10 minutes walk from the train station, making it easy to access even when carrying luggage, but far enough to escape that "gritty train station vibe", while also being walking distance to the main points of interests. If I'm ever in Venice again, I'll definitely be a returning guest.

It was a pleasant 15-minute walk from Santa Lucia Station, leading to a charming oasis away from the chaos of the city. The reception area was beautifully designed, and we booked a two-bed apartment. Despite having prepaid online, they still requested a credit card, allegedly for the minibar. However, the fridge was empty, which we found a bit odd. The apartment itself was just a 30-second walk from the main entrance. It was clean and nicely arranged, although the bed was less than ideal—two single beds pushed together, which wasn’t particularly comfortable, though the pillows were soft and supportive. The bathroom was modern and aesthetically pleasing, but the shower didn’t work properly, which was disappointing.

Overall, it was an enjoyable stay until we realized we had forgotten two earrings on the bedside table just before checking out. When my girlfriend noticed, I immediately called the reception, but their response was unsatisfactory. I followed up with a message, yet still received no meaningful assistance. When my girlfriend called directly, the hotel manager responded rudely, placing the blame entirely on us for forgetting the items and stating they couldn’t do anything about it. The earrings were gold, but their sentimental value far outweighed their monetary worth. Unfortunately, the staff showed no concern or empathy for the situation, leaving us with a bitter impression despite an otherwise pleasant experience. There coud be some possible drink at least water for emergency.

We traveled with teenagers so booked one of the apartments that had 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. The location is excellent, only about a 15-20 min walk to St Mark's Square (if you don't get lost). The rooms were spacious, and having your own kitchen area is handy if you want to cut down on the costs of eating out all the time. We didn't choose to have breakfast included, but there is a Coop shop and lovely local bakery less than 2 mins away.

If you stay in the apartments, your rooms aren't serviced, but you can ask for clean towels. For the price we paid it would be good to have service included too.

Fantastic stay at Hotel Aquarius, The room was lovely and the filled mini-bar which could be initially used for free was a lovely bonus. The room was a little small but very clean and the bathroom was quite roomy. The staff were very helpful with recommendations for the city and were very welcoming. The hotel is situated in a lovely little square with a few restaurants and was within a short walking distance from the train station.

We found it hard to control the thermostat in the room using the very modern fittings, some instructions on how to use the system would have helped with this.

Helpful staff, nice selection for breakfast and it was in a beautiful area, really close the vaperetto stop and away from the crowds at Rialto and St Marks Square. Lino had the BEST food recommendations, very comfortable rooms, great breakfast, incredibly friendly staff.

We arrived late at night and left early in the morning and some of the alleyways to and from the train station were dark and difficult to get down without the light. Nothing really against the property itself though, just the city around it!

Excellent location on the piazza with local events happening - we loved to see that it was a true Venice community gathering each night! Great pickup from the water taxi right nearby, and we appreciated that the hotel staff arranged that for us easily. Loved the interesting artwork displayed throughout. Excellent breakfast, too. Would stay there again, 100%!

Clearer communication/signage regarding how to operate the power and lights with the room card. This wasn't a custom in any of our stays in Italy (and uncommon to the US), so it took us a bit to figure out on our own. That would be a small, but very helpful improvement.

Location, staff, and breakfast was included

The AC is remotely controlled off site thru another company. After August they shut it off. Which is fine, BUT there is NO fans in the bath room or in the rooms. So even with a window open there is no air movement. It becomes a sweat box until around midnight or layer when the outside temperature drops. A couple of fans or just the ability to turn the ac unit fan on would be so helpful

This is a fabulous boutique hotel in Venice. The staff were helpful and their breakfast buffet was ample and delicious! If you are looking for a quiet hotel not too far from city attractions in Venice, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Location is great to reach places in any direction. Our room faces a little plaza but sound proof was extraordinary and it was also fun to watch the activities around. Spacious bedroom and bathroom.

Shower room design was faulty and will cause floods when you take shower… our room is right under the restaurant so we kept waking up to the sound of chairs moving around upstairs when breakfast starts to get served…
