The location was exellent. The hotel was easy connected to railway station by foot or by vaporetto. Room had view to a tiny Canale. Quiet surrounding.

We loved our stay at Locanda Poste Vecie! We liked everything. Actually it exceeded our expectations. The room was cleaned every day and they provide us with everything, even toothbrush and toothpaste..coffee, tea, biscuits. There was also an anti-mosquito device and tablets..we didn't need it, but it's a proof that they have thought of everything. The bathroom was also very clean, no problems regarding the hot water.
The temperature in the room was also adjustable.
The check in and check out were very easy and the staff was very kind. After check out they provide a place to leave our luggages..we didn't need it, but they were very nice to ask.
The location is perfect!!!!!! Not much to say, it's very close to Rialto Bridge and is close to all of the main attractions in Venice. It is also very quiet..The perfect combination between being in the center and still have a quiet night.
I would definitely recommend this place!!!!!!!

The staff is very kind, the gave us a lot of recommendation in the area and were very helpful all the time. The place is well located, close to several restaurants and places of interest, location is very central.
To get there the first time is a bit tricky, since Google Maps sometimes doesn't work well in Venice and some streets don't have a visible name. The hairdryer is too old.

Locanda Poste has all you need for stay such as iron with desck, safe, kettle, drinks and snacks, good size showeroom with all cosmetics. We did not have to pay for anything extra.

A bit expensive for what it was. I've stayed there many times before because of its restaurant, which is now separate entity, although connected. That restaurant is now unspeakably awful, and will certainly condition whether I was to stay in the hotel again.

Such a lovely place. Perfect location for us, with a clean room and friendly service. Lots of cafes and restaurants very close by and just 3 minutes walk to the vaporetto and Realto bridge, but still felt like a quiet spot. We could just about see the Grand canal from our room which looked out onto a little canal with a little bridge on which people were enjoying photo opportunities! We didnโt get a chance to sample the restaurant but it looked lovely and you get 20% off the bill when you stay in the hotel. It was a little confusing to find, but the waiters in the square helped. Itโs down a tiny little street! We had some mosquitoes in the bathroom but it was all sorted as soon as we asked for it to be sprayed and the problem was dealt with efficiently without a fuss. They also looked after our bags until we left for the airport so we could enjoy our last day with out them.
All in all a lovely stay which I would highly recommmend.

Originally, we booked and paid for a superior room with the Grand Canal View. Due to an ankle injury, we were assigned to a first floor large room with a view of the canal next to the Rialto fish market. Was expecting a reasonable discount in view of the downgrade. The location was the biggest draw, smack in the middle or the Rialto District, one of the prime locals in Venice. Lots of small restaurants close by. The room was small but comfortable, quiet.
The bed and pillows are too hard to sleep comfortably. The glass in the bathroom had mold in it. The shower is cramped, the showerhead was not working properly, and the control is in an awkward position.so my arm kept hitting it causing the water temp to change...lets just say hot is HOT, cold is COLD.

The interior was very tired. The floors were uneven, so if you are prone to dizziness, you'd better steer clear of this place. On the other hand, It is a very old building, so you really should keep it in mind and level your expectations with reality.

The first night the room was cold, they have AC in the room which was not giving hot air. In the bathroom they have radiator and there the heat was ok. The second night the room started to be more warm and the temperature was ok. Itโs tough in the winter We understand for the hotels, they canโt keep the heat in the rooms if there are not guests. Eventually was ok, Iโm glad the second night the temperature was more warm.
The only issue we had was that it was cold in the room in the first night.

The Locanda Poste Vecie is located right in the heart of Venice next door to a local fishmarket. The entrance is tucked away down a narrow alley, so a little difficult to find, but it has a quaint charm and distinct character, unlike the more commercial hotels. The staff was very pleasant and helpful with directions.

We heard loud music playing until 2am on the Friday and Saturday we stayed at the hotel. No fault of the hotel itself, just unfortunate as we assumed that the hotel was in a quiet area of Venice.

The hotel offers excellent value for money, especially considering its prime location just steps away from the iconic Ponte di Rialto. The proximity to major attractions and local restaurants made it an ideal base for exploring Venice.
There were two notable drawbacks. First, the "double bed" was actually two single beds pushed together. Second, the heating system was quite noisy during operation, which could be disruptive during sleep.

The location is super - 300m from the Rialto Bridge. The accommodation facility has a special elevator for disabled people (we didn't need it, but still good). There is some common space for sitting/working - also good. The bathroom is very ok, clean. The room was very warm, which again is good for early March.
There was a piece of sealing rubber sticking out of one of the windows - because of this there was incomplete noise insulation, and our windows overlooked the fish market and the dorky seagulls that yelled and meowed. One of the beds for the kids creaked quite loudly.

I knew from reading reviews that this place might be difficult to find..and it was. But once we found it, we had no difficulty. Great location, close to the Rialto Bridge, water bus stops, lots of cafes in the area. The fish market is right there and can be a bit noisy in the AM (there is no A/C in October, so the noise is most noticeable if the window is open). Clean room up a steep narrow stairway. Hardly saw any staff. Beds, not super comfy. Old and quaint..perfect for our stay in Venice!

The location is perfect - its down a tiny street so its quiet, but right in the middle of everything and an easy walk anywhere. I liked that it's in more of a neighborhood and not in the middle of the Rialto Bridge/San Marco square madness. Staff were very friendly as well!
The room was VERY small, which is fine, but had to shuffle sideways to get to the bed. Wished there was a couple of glasses in the room, not just one plastic bathroom cup and a tea kettle would be a nice addition. Toilet was loud and ran for a long time as well and the beds are quite firm.

We loved everything about our stay at Locanda Poste Vecie. The room was very clean and comfortable and had all the necessary amenities and more. The staff were nice and helpful. And they even had a little surprise for New Year's Eve. The room was super warm and the location was quite, yet very accessible to lots of restaurants and main attractions.
