Just be aware that when you arrive someone will gonna offer you a couple massage but first you have to attend to a 45 mins meeting to get the promotion, he mentioned it’s all about the spa facility but upon arriving a sales representative will offer a membership and will be very persistent that you should join them and ask you to pay an upfront amount. Luckily we were not fooled. Hahhhah

The Starbucks cafe located in the hotel which was part of the all inclusive package was certainly a highlight for me. The hotel is impeccable, our sea view room was picturesque. Every area of the hotel smelled divine! The food in my opinion was lovely, I liked that there were a variety of choices depending on your mood. I was highly impressed with the vast selection of premium drinks, cocktails and endless water available. The staff didn’t allow me to lift a finger my entire stay. They were all exceptional! My friend and I are already planning our next visit back.

Vendors were setup on property the evening we got there and you had to pass through them everytime to get to the pool and restaurants. Don't mind the vendors but didn't like them calling us over to look at their goods all night long. A little high pressure for a resort.

The room is very spacious and modern, the staff is very nice and tries to help all the time, the food and drinks are excellent, for people who like to get up very early there is a Starbucks coffee shop from 6 in the morning, but the main thing is the sea, sand like silk without tips and plants with turquoise water, the rooms are super advanced .

The multiple restaurants to choose from, the pools were big and temperature felt amazing, the hotel room was pretty perfect. The gym was very exceptional, I went there 3 times. And the Starbucks was included which was a daily visit! Not much I can complain about honestly. My boyfriend and I had an absolute blast. Thank you!

Was expecting the coconuts would be included but you have to purchase.
You have to call for someone to come remove plates/cups but I’m not even mad because I think it’s creepy when workers come in right when you leave..

Just got back from a 10 night stay at the Live Aqua Beach. Lovely hotel, great location, staff were always on hand and very friendly, and the food was amazing with a choice of 7 restaurants, plus daily BBQ. The hotel is situated right on the beach, and has a number of swimming pools and bars. All in all a great place to visit if you want to relax, but also a great location for the excursion on offer.

A perfect vacation at Live Aqua Cancun. The most beautiful sea, amazing warm pools and jacuzzi. Excellent service. Totally oriented on customer service. We had one day a problem with lunch at the Beach view restaurant, and immediately we had the Master Chef see us and offer a wonderful 5 course menu at MB. This is indeed the best restaurant and has piano. Varenna italian was also great.
Burgers for lunch very tasty.
The Spa was wonderful! A unique service and great beds.
Waiting list for dinner was horrible. Up to 2 hours.
They need to open more dinner nice spots.
The restaurant with sea views has a mediocre lunch.

Position of the hotel is fantastic, large and clean rooms, amazing view.
The biggest minus of this hotel is that there is no possibility to book a table in any of the restaurant for dinner or lunch, but is necessary to wait between 30 min - 1 hour on a waiting list until you get a table to have a meal. This fact is really annoying so that in most of evenings me and my friend decided to leave the resort and look for different places to eat. If this issue hotel can fix, all is perfect.

The service was outstanding and the please is beautiful. You can enjoy an amazing time without paying for anything extra, except for tips, which is common in Cancun. The on-site restaurants and room service were pretty good, offering a variety of cuisines and great service - maximum wait time of 90min in the restaurant lines.
The wine wasn't great, so I'd recommend sticking to the other drinks. The resort is pricey, but worth it. The airport transfer was stressful, so I strongly suggest pre-hiring it to avoid any headaches. Lastly, at check-in, they might try to sell shared ownership. If you're not interested, just say no and move on to enjoy your vacation.
It is very bad that in the morning already at 8 o'clock you cannot find a free sunbed at the pool. We have seen in other reviews that guests complain about this problem, I don't know why the management is not doing anything to fix it, I think it is the worst thing in this hotel

Franscisco with the towels, Angel with the bev service on the beach and again for dinner in the Italian restaurant, Louisa with cocktails by the pool, Ricky and Daniel with the classes, room service 24/7. Everyone was so kind. I will go back. The other patrons were also very kind and social while being courteous and respectful. I felt safe the whole time. The food was high bar for an all inclusive with lots of options to explore. I loved the lunchtime bbq and paella, evening tacos, breakfast smoothies and constant flow of drinks. Espresso martinis, blended margaritas of a million varieties (skinny, spicy, mango, strawberry), mid tier liquor upon request included, mexican candy shots with the tajin rim - all great! The beds in the room were very comfortable and all facilities well maintained and clean. I loved the pool and how many chairs and day beds were available. Even during times they were fully booked I was able to find chairs in the morning and enjoy the amenities. I did yoga, bingo and the aqua aerobics. We left site to explore the large mall across the street with big brand stores and a ferris wheel. We also did a night at Cocobongo and found ubers really easy for getting back and forth to the nightlife area.
Not all the food was exactly as I ordered it always, but since everything was included they were quick to fix anything and bring more. They asked about allergies constantly, so I wouldn't be concerned if you are upfront about what you want. We made large complicated orders often with no allergy concerns listed, and the mistakes we got were understandable.

You need to bring money for tips, and the nice lounge chairs with shade by the pool are additional cost, there are just a few that are already included in the room price.

The food! Where do I start! All of it was fabulous. The breakfast buffet, out of this world. Lunch was very good and plenty of food. Desserts were all so yummy. The drinks were weak, but you drink all day.
Ricky was a fan event bingo person. His little crew were so fun.
Thanks for all the hard work keeping the sargassum cleared off the beach.
My only complaints would be entertainment. If in the long pool you could do water volleyball once a day. You could have upbeat music playing at swim up bar or have the DJ every day. That pool got a great vibe the two hours the DJ was there so play better music all day there.
Something other than bingo once a day. There was just lack of entertainment and night vibe. We are in our 50s so I don't need Coco bongo vibe but more fun things. Maybe contest, hairy chest contest, mixology contest, limbo, belly flop contest, hula hoop contest. Maybe at night, love marriage games, battle of the sexes. Just some fun evening events. The one night there was casino it was a good time, bloody hot! Why outside? Why only two prizes?
The resort has so much good value just lacking entertainment.

The location is great, the swimming pool and beach facilities are also nice, and you can walk across the street to the mall directly.
Even the high-floor rooms are very humid, and there’s no dehumidifier. The pillows have a particularly strong, greasy body odor. I requested replacements for two of them, but they were still the same. The staff are rather indifferent and don’t greet guests. Some of the restaurant waiters also have a cold attitude. I didn’t find any good restaurants here. Both the service and the food quality are far behind compared to Atelier Playa.

All my drinks were good, but the brands seem on the low end (whisky John Barr??). Another problem, was that they charge you for the cabanas, and there are more cabanas than free beds. If you wake up early, not a problem, but around 10 am only paying, and 85 dollars a day for cabana after paying 500 dol a night, seems a bit too high.... Solution: charge less or have more free cabanas.

As a regular Aqua hotels guest, this property absolutely meet the standards.
My only suggestion is to improve VIP services at 5th floor lounge. Staff is amazing, but food, beverages and rooms, do not make any difference with the rest of hotel.
Pool area cabanas service is exceptional, and food and services at all restaurants is superior.
Definitely recommend this property.
As an extra comment, beach was very clean about sargazo and very enjoyable.

Our well-designed suite was spacious, immaculate, comfortable, with stunning views of the ocean from inside and the balconies. Service was high-end and consistent without being intrusive and some elevated our experience further - Maggie and Ruddy (our nice and accommodating butlers), Andres (at the beach/pool), and Jose (at Siete). This was our 5th all-inclusive and by FAR the best food. Very restaurant-like quality, although like most stand-alone restaurants can be inconsistent across different dishes, ranging from average dishes to extraordinary (such as the oft-mentioned Habanero Cream Soup- wow! -at MB). Besides the optional-fee restaurant Carnivore (we did not try), they offer add-on fee dishes at the restaurants. Just speculating but based on the menu items, these looked like they may be prepared at Carnivore(?), so we planned our last dinner at MB (for one more serving of the Habanero Soup!) and ordered off of the add-on menu for our mains. These are expensive but appear to be two portions each, so actually reasonable. We ordered 2 of the lobster meals but we got 2 healthy-sized tails per order. They were a little dry but good. We also ordered the add-on shrimp meal which was very good and 10 jumbo fried shrimp also seemed intended for more than one person (not sure if my wife could finish 5 of them). The food around the pool was above average (especially for pool food). Cocktails from the pool bar tended to be a little weak (ok with us since they keep them coming all day) while bar and restaurant drinks were full strength. The breakfast buffet at Siete is very good. Marco's fresh smoothie bar always had a (willing) line. The on-demand taco grill and omelette stations were great, the coconut oatmeal and coconut rice pudding options were nice surprises, exc coffee and fruit as well. Lastly - a BIG thanks to Maggie and Edgar for recovering and delivering my wife's lost iPhone!
Next time we go, we probably will not do the buffet and show by the pool. I think it's probably very difficult to offer such a wide assortment of food options in that setting and maintain quality. Our next visit will here will be in winter to avoid the sargassum/seaweed. And we liked the fact that it seemed like mostly couples here, but singles looking for a party probably need to look elsewhere.

One thing was, we had some torrential rains and our room was leaking from the roof. I had a lot of leaking problems, but they were very quick to fix it to the best that they could . That is really the only thing it was a beautiful, beautiful resort and the people were very special with humility and respect .

We had an amazing 5-day stay at Live Aqua Cancun. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Special thanks to Andrea, Santos, Ruben, and David from the wait staff for their warm and attentive service.
The activities team, especially Ricky Ricardo and his group, kept us entertained all day with fun, engaging, and well-organized events — they truly made the experience memorable.
The food was good overall, with plenty of variety and beautiful presentation, even if not every dish was outstanding. Combined with the excellent service and relaxed atmosphere, it still made for a great dining experience.
We had a wonderful vacation and are already looking forward to coming back!

When I first got to the resort I was waiting for my luggage to send to my room and I waited for half hour so I called to ask them to send it up. After another 15 mins I got down and saw my luggage were still there and the staffs were just chatting on the side. Also I was a solo woman traveler and the staffs asked me a lot of times “is your husband coming later?”, “is someone coming with you?”. I think once or twice is ok but it was too often.
I also think charging 85usd a day for the cabana is insane. People come to the resort for the beach why do you need to pay extra for even an unbrella.

Aqua lounge had the best bartenders mixing drinks on the entire property. The Starbucks was excellent, especially the afternoon barista David. Carnivore is a world class restaurant, perfect in every way.
Rooms had signs of wear and tear and some maintenance issues. The bartending outside of the Aqua Lounge was uneven and often drinks were simply off in how they were mixed. A simple cup of tea was hard to get at this property.

The food was excellent and there was a nice variety of restaurants available. The breakfast buffet at Siete was a particular favorite, as well as the Hidden Garden. Being able to order room service 24/7 was also a cut above a lot of resorts we've stayed at, which typically have more limited hours for in-room dining. And the food was equally good at all hours! There was a takeaway sushi place that my partner thought was one of the best meals of the whole trip.
The pools were nicely maintained and the warm ones were great, though they were a tad bit crowded at times. But it was definitely a fun place to do some of the activities like water aerobics! "Ricky Ricardo" was a fantastic. And I can't say enough nice things about the beach; I've never seen bluer water in my life.
They had some nice activities planned each day as well. I took the painting class and was able to come away with a nice little souvenir of the trip and chat with some of the other guests. I'm surprised there wasn't a Spanish class, only because I've seen that at other Live Aqua resorts. I'm sure Ricky would have made that really fun too!
The cleaning staff was also very kind and good at their jobs! As was the manicurist at the salon. I don't think there were any services offered that didn't meet or exceed expectations. I used the gym almost every day, and it was also very well maintained and stocked with water and towels. It would have been nice if they had at least 1 more exercise bike though.
The staff was incredibly pushy about whatever timeshare thing they were selling, which was VERY off-putting. That was really the thing that took our stay from a 10 down to a 9. We got pitched when we checked in, declined, and then continued to encounter staff throughout who were trying to get us to sign-up for a "1-hour information session" in exchange for free massages and whatnot. Did not like that at all, and I didn't experience it at the Live Aqua in Punta Cana, D.R. so it was unexpected.
We were also there during Thanksgiving, unaware that they were going to do a big Thanksgiving celebration for some reason? It was...bizarre. Did not need the staff to be dressed up as turkeys and pilgrims. If we wanted to experience a big American Thanksgiving we would NOT have gone to Mexico, and they made a bigger deal about it than I've ever seen in the States. They even projected a "Happy Thanksgiving" graphic across the entire front exterior of the building in lights. Super weird, would recommend doing away with that altogether or at least toning it down A LOT.
Last thing is that there was no ice cream, and didn't love that they had a Starbucks as opposed to something more local for their indoor cafe.

The food is fantastic, the service is exceptional, fun activities every day and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Whenever we had an issue, they were quick to assist and resolve it. Everything. The bedrooms were very modern and beautiful. We had a corner with terrace king size room. The Molton Brown soaps, shampoo, creams, etc… was a luxury. The pools were all around and had beautiful views to the ocean.

I gave Live Aqua Cancun a 10/10 because it genuinely felt like one of those rare places where everything is consistently excellent …not just one or two standout moments.
The biggest reason is the service. Our butlers, Stephany and Alan, were exceptional from start to finish. They somehow struck the perfect balance of being available whenever we needed something, but never overbearing. They handled all our dinner reservations, checked in throughout the day, and made everything feel effortless. The biggest example: when our flight got delayed, they went out of their way to help us secure a later checkout at the last minute — which took a ton of stress out of the end of the trip.
Upgrading to Aqua Club was also 100% worth it. Guillermo made our daily trip to the Club Lounge a pleasure, crafting custom cocktails and delivering excellent service. Having a private cabana every day completely changed the experience in the best way. And what I didn’t expect was how much the resort’s design and layout would add to the trip — moving to different cabana areas each day made it feel like we were having slightly different “versions” of the same vacation, which kept it fresh and interesting instead of repetitive.
The food and drinks were another big reason I’d recommend it without hesitation. Everything was top tier. Not a single meal disappointed, and even the casual popup food stands were fantastic - burgers, ribs, even paella - all shockingly good for resort food. It never felt like we were settling or compromising just because we were at an all-inclusive.
Finally, the room and housekeeping were flawless. The room was pristine, and housekeeping was truly next level, every detail was taken care of daily. And because it was my wife’s birthday during the trip, they made it feel genuinely special: a last-minute reservation at the best restaurant, a custom mural painted on the mirror in our room, and a bottle of wine waiting for us.
