No tv remote.
The linen was not clean.
Basin was not clean which made me uncomfortable and wonder what else wasn’t clean. My room was not even cleaned when I came back from my appointments. Came back to rest with the hope of someone will come clean and no one did until I called reception. And the lady advised me that rooms are cleaned from 16:00 to 17:30. And there’s no one who can come but they will bring towels . (Which I didn’t need since I travel with my own)

The bed was very comfortable, and an immaculate and tidy room without bad smells. Adequate amenities are provided in the bathroom. The check-in process was smooth and quick and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Limited parking spaces and very tight parking spots should be free for guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
The shower head needs replacing as the water pressure was very low due to the nozzle holes being blocked.

The location is fantastic. The staff are always great. The rooms are pretty minimal but have pretty much everything needed.
The property no longer allows use of the air conditioning and I had to ask for a fan. Even with a fan it was hot in the room, and it's too noisy outside to leave the window open.

The hotel is in a excellent location for downtown. And the room although fairly small was very adequate for a couple of nights.
The air-conditioning unit was not working properly and was permanently on very cold. The staff managed it very well and replaced it with Electric heater which was excellent. The staff were very polite and thorough in managing this problem.

Good location. Allowed early checkin at 2pm as their new check in time is 3pm. Managed to get a car park for $35 overnight.
Had to wait 20 mins for the receptionist is finish her phone call to be served.
Uncomfortable beds, filthy sheets and BED BUGS.

Less options at buffet breakfast. Poor quality as well.

For the price I wasn't expecting much but definitely would recommend if you looking for somewhere cheap, warm and comfortable. Friendly staff and clean room. Was able to get an 11am check out. Sky movies was a bonus.
Bit noisy could hear neighbours tv and garbage truck at stupid o'clock. but it is Auckland...no milk just creamer.

It was simple, and had everyone you needed for a short stay.
If you're someone who likes to spend as little time in your room as possible you will have absolutely no issues at this very affordable hotel.
Not much to complain about that can be changed. The parking situation was very unclear. I wouldn't go here for a nice romantic getaway but it worked for me and my wife for a one night concert visit.

Stayed in a room that had an AWFULLY loud mechanical buzzing/violently loud vibrating noise that would run for 10 minutes once every hour - even overnight. Totally unable to get ANY sleep, led to a dreadful stay at the hotel. Staff offered a 25% refund, essentially meaning I was paying 75% to get zero sleep in a hotel. Not a great experience at all.

We had a wonderful stay and have stayed here a number of times now. Our room had a full view of the Sky Tower, much better than you can get around other hotels in the city. Great location as we love walking either up K Road or down Queen Street to the viaduct. Handy to Q theatre and other events around the city. Accommodating staff who tended to whatever our requests were. We will keep coming back!
Service of the room during our stay would have been nice as we did stay for 3 nights/4 days. This meant we had to ask for coffee/tea etc to be replenished but these requests were met with accommodating staff delivering what we needed to our rooms.

the room we got was absolutely amazing. we had a view of the sky tower. there was also heating and air con available in the room. there was also cold water in the fridge which I think was a good bonus. we weren't bothered as much with house keeping.
the bathrooms cleanliness could of been better. especially around the toilet, it seemed like the cleaners did not clean under the seat of the toilet where there was urine on it. I was going to tell reception however I only had a day stay anyways and didn't use the toilet as much as I was out of the hotel the whole day. the body wash, shampoo and the hand wash were the same product. I also didn't like how the kettle and the coffee place were right under the closet? I had large jackets I needed to hang up which unfortunately I couldn't because it would tip over the glasses and the kettle and such.
