Beds were comfortable we had 2double beds in our unit spa bath was very nice they had a big cupboard to put our extra gears n nic nacs with draws and had a good sized mirror attached
Had to flush toilet twice before paper went down had no opener or grater as I was cooking us nachos which required the two items above the morning we left my partner had a shower then I went to have mine was the shower for 5minutes then sadly it went cold on me so I wasn't very happy about having a cold shower

the mineral pool was the highlight and the selling point for the motel but it is useless, or the host purposed not letting guests to use.
when we were going to use at the evening, the water temperature was surely above 45 degree C. it was burning hot and unable to cool down to use by turned on cool water tap fully, at least not able to use as it would likely take over one hour or more to cool down, and the hot water fully flow in but there is no tap to control by the guests. the wall has a written note that said it is below 42 degree C - it seems a joke; next morning it is freezing cool, and it was likely to take at least a few hours to warming up so we didn't have time to wait, and the hot water was dripping in the pool.

The location was ideal.
The lighting to the lift at night was very poor. The room was Ok - The TV was poor - no programme. Unable to turn TV off. You had to disconnect the plug from the main switch. I overbooked 20th Dec by $132.25.
It is the now 4th Feb 2024 & Gateway International Motel has still not honoured my refund.
This motel does not deliver professional
service it also lacks scruples, moral compass or integrity. I am an 83y Pensioner patiently waiting for a refund.

The beds were nice and comfortable and it was a convenient location.
A lot of maintenance is required as the toilet was running constantly, the shower hose was leaking, there was some faulty power points, no air conditioning in the rooms.

Services was very poor. The guy at reception was on the phone constantly to some one else. Didn't give his attention to customer services. Had the sign-in process done, and had his phone attended to his ears, didn't provide me with the key had to ask for the key and then he couldn't find it. He had to go to the drop off 'keybox' outside to get the key. Then I had to ask where my room was, as I've never used this hotel before. And his response was out there using his thumb to indicate where it was. Almost 'losing my cool', and in a hard tone asked 'where out there' and he still pointed with his thumb, and he said, out there in the second floor, Didn't refer to the lift or access to the second floor.

We came to this hotel because it was marketing, that in had an inside spa, and it had two beds in the room.
The Spa did have hot water so that we could use the spa. the Room was cold and it had a radiator heater near the wall with a kitchen table up against with the TV screen on the table. And the cords and multi plug box was dagling from the wall socket with the TV screen cord plugged into it. Very dangerous, poor health and safety consideration around electricity.
We came back from our event and it was very cold that evening and so was our room. Before 9pm and asked for extra bankets and pillows. Another person served me, and he said no to my request to have extra blankets and pillows. I had to insist, and repeated myself several time, and finally he reluctantly agreed.
Very poor service, i will not be using this motel again. and i will make sure none of my family and friends use it too.
Bit annoyed with myself as I should had taken photos of the persons serving me and the other attended and should have taken photos of the room and the cords.

Location was convenient
The photos of the room showed that the spa wasnโt working, which was fair - but it didnโt show how disgusting the spa floor was. The room was also infested with cockroaches, and when I showed evidence to the worker and explained the situation, he said that cockroaches come out at night and reassured me that they clean it every day. The sink was rusty, and the window cills were covered in dust. The fridge had cockroaches both in and under it, and the fan in the room didnโt work at all, which was tough because the room was burning hot most of the time.

It was filthy and I had to clean it myself with disinfectant. Smelly. I want a refund - I could not stay there another night and left. It was a nightmare to stay there. It was not what is advertised. False advertising. KNOCK THE PLACE DOWN. IT WAS SOCIAL HOUSING. THE MANAGER SAID IT WAS NOT. AND THE PARKING HE TRIED TO MAKE ME PARK MY CAR IN THE NARROWIST OF SPACES - I DID NOT.

Location is great, easy walk to many facilities and nature walks. Rooms were spacious and the jetted bath a treat.
The mineral pool was out if service and no adjustments to the cost was given. The last time we stayed here the mineral pool was literally boiling hot. Disappointing they advertise it still and it's not open.
Additionally there was a group of people loud throughout the night. Specifically around 3am. We couldn't reach anyone at the reception.
The parking spots need to be allocated because the one in front of our room was taken and at midnight they turned in the car and woke us with their lights shining through the curtains.

Mineral pools not usable, and are very broken old looking. The place needs some sort of maintenance in areas and was subjected to the bedroom due to no playground or outdoor seating area or anything but broken driveway.
