Location and on site parking. Staff is nice and courteous.
Rooms are small especially the master bedroom combined with living & kitchen. Only one small AC can get uncomfortable in summers.
Breakfast could be better.

Friendly staff, we had a small issue with the guest laundry which was resolved quickly.
More towels in the room, we booked for 3 adults and one child only to find 2 sets of towels. We asked for more and the front desk got us more without issue.

The location was good, room was tidy and clean. Price was somewhat reasonable for what we received.
A little run down, walls scuffed etc. Pool was misrepresented in photo, much smaller than shown. (But nice to have the option). Paid for room without breakfast, if had gone to a bigger hotel and included breakfast, overall value elsewhere would be better. Would stay again but only for a night or two.

Clean and comfy hotel rooms.
Poor location to eateries and we experienced drug affected people in the area.
We also tried to shorten our stay due to unforeseen circumstances but no discount were given due to hotel policy. So we paid in full for a night we did not stay.

Lovely hotel, nice room, very clean. Pleasant staff. Nice continental breakfast. Delicious scones and muffins.
Not well laid out breakfast area, got congested.
Lovely coffee machines in rooms, but just instant coffee at breakfast, unless you paid.
Bar closed at 10pm. Ridiculous you cannot get a drink in the hotel bar, as a resident after 10pm.

I liked the easy straight forward check in and location of the hotel being in the city center. The continental breakfast was really scrumptious and yummy as and special mention for the meat lovers and vegetarian pizzas for only $15 delivered for room service was definitely a highlight and super delicious. The outdoor pool and spa along with the trampoline, checkers board and snake and ladders kept my granddaughter entertained. Overall this is an excellent hotel with fantastic customer service and friendly staff that will be our go to hotel when visiting Rotorua.

We were put into a pet friendly room but we had no pets and didn’t request this, so that was a little disappointing. However I did like the idea of having a pet friendly area for people travelling with pets.

The place was neat and tidy. The location was convenient and central. Some staff were really helpful.
The pictures advertised on booking.com regards to the BBQ facilities were very misleading. In the picture it shows a gas BBQ. So my family and I began using it, the maintenance guy passed us and 2 minutes later a staff member approached us asking if we got permission to use the BBQ. We said no, we assumed we could use it since it was in the communal pool area. She then said it is for staff only and we need to pay a $25 cleaning fee, which we then did. There was no sign stating that you cannot use the BBQ and that it is for staff only.

I was told I had to pay another couple of hundred dollars when I arrived despite paying the entire amount on booking.com when I booked.
I had two kids with me and we had driven 5 hours so I had to do it
They said it’s because I didn’t book directly with them there was a problem with my booking. I was in tears

Wonderful place - clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Walkable to the main town center. Great shower and wonderful heating/cooling unit.
