DISGUSTING, absolutely disgusting!! Dirty, rundown. I don't know how booking.com can even list this place!! We were desperate for somewhere to stay, booked on line so non refundable. Wish I had taken the time to read the reviews. $300 for 2 ppl one night. Ghetto would describe the place. Photos lie, might have once looked like that, not now, rubbish everywhere. No cups,glasses pots,utensils ,rubbish bin. Toilet leeked, place stunk,curtains filthy and tattered. Could go on and on. Hate to think what tourists would think I they stay there!! Not a good look for nz. DO NOT stay here!!

That place is not family friendly. It hasn't been cleaned and the furniture is all damaged and tagged on, my family didn't even want to use anything or sleep in the beds. There was crumbs all over the kitchen bench the sink was stained the furniture looked like it had been grabbed from the rubbish bin. Outside there was rubbish everywhere, the pool was empty and rubbish everywhere, the reason we booked it was for the pool for the kids, there was people drinking and smoking at the rooms, my experience was horrifying that me and the children had to leave for health n safety purposes. None of the plugs worked except by the microwave like it was just a joke. We didn't stay for how long we booked for and am patiently awaiting a refund

Nothing! we did not stay here. we are not fussy, we have slept in cars, shared facilities, we hike and use long drops. I knew it wasnt 5 star accommodation but its rated 4 stars and I made the mistake of not reading reviews before making a quick booking. I will never make that mistake again. for one night I was looking for cheap but clean. having 4 stars and the photos showing it having what we needed I booked. the photos are not what the property looks like at all. for $219 + fees its a disgrace and the max I would expect to pay here is $50 for the group
reception didnt welcome me, just asked if I had a booking while continuing on his phone. showed me where my room was and told me to park anywhere. when we went in the room we were overwhelmed with the smell, mould, beds that we didnt want to touch let alone sleep on (would never get in) oven was disgusting and I wouldnt use it (we get rooms with kitchens because we dont eat out) toilet was unsafe, I made the joke that I better not end up on the floor if I used the toilet as it looked like it wasnt attached to the wall. then my 81 year old mum used it, just about fell off and that is what made us leave. she didnt feel safe. looking around the room I didnt feel safe leaving any of our belongings there if we went out. I wish I had taken photos before I gave the key back. Ive never been in this situation and didnt know what to do. there were no towels, no door on the main bedroom, the beds were so low they may as well have been a mattress on the floor. I went back to reception and asked for a refund. he wouldnt look at me. it was like he expected it and was used to having complaints. my mum explained why we wanted a refund and the whole time he wouldnt look at us. just told us to ring booking.com.
I was near tears, and in shock. I cant understand how they can justify charging $219 for that room, I dont know how they can disrespect paying customers like that and how they can refuse a refund when their facilities are not satisfactory for what they charged me

The door was left unlocked with the key on the table, because we arrived after check in. However, everything was down hill from there. Nothing after that was close to nice.
I hate doing this but I feel I need too. The room was dirty and disgusting. I got itchy (felt like fleas were eating me). There were bugs in the bathroom. The rooms were not up to what the pictures looked like. They had coloured paper stuck to the walls, to make it look nice. The step had missing blocks (nearly fell over). The outside is run down and needs a major clean. It was the worst experience I have had. I would not recommend this place to stay in. STAY AWAY!!!! I want a refund and requested one from the motel owner, who advised to go through booking.com (which I am about to do). However, we did get a room from Arawa Park Motel (Rydges) for $30 more. We arrived late, they still had dinner going, and their service made our night go from SAD to GLAD that we didn't just head home.

Location- close to centre Rotorua. But next to very busy intersection. Traffic noise 6.30am - 10pm. Clean room. Private. I felt safe. If you wanted comment bout the interior decor. Change the colour of the Autex (soft stuff on the walls) or change bed cover to an off white.

Everything! The rooms were old and in need of a good clean. My double bed had a broken base which meant the mattress was slumped in the middle. The so called heated mineral pool was empty dirty and in poor broken state. The grounds had not been maintained and were in a poorly state. The website said there was mineral pool on site however this was empty and obviously had been for a long time. The cutlery and crockery supplied was mismatched and inappropriate.
