The hotel is in an excellent location for guided tours and for reaching sights in Lisbon. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very spacious and we had a fantastic view of the square as well as the old castle on the hill.
The entrance area is a bit awkward as you need to get up a set of stairs to reach the reception. The elevator needs servicing, it did not feel safe.

Central location, with access to a metro station directly on the square the hotel is located on, and a big public transport hub on the next square to get to Belém or to LX factory, for example. Easy to get around the city from here, whether you want to walk or take the bus or the metro.
It's an old building, with lots of old, well-kept furniture in the building and the rooms <3
The breakfast buffet is good, especially the juices and scrambled eggs. There's also a lot of different teas you can choose from. You get the same things every day, but we didn't mind. Plus, you get to eat in a really nice salon-like hall with windows and a small balcony overlooking the square, that can be used all day, so after breakfast as well. We didn't really have time to chill in the salon because we were out and about all day, but if you need a break in between, I would imagine it's quite nice.
Our room was surprisingly big and had a balcony looking over the busy square. There was more than enough space for our stuff, and we loved the balcony and watching all the other tourists on the square.
All in all, it's a great place to start discovering Lisboa after a good breakfast :)

It was next to a paid underground parking, so you can arrive here by car and plan some day trips e.g. to Sintra.
There's also Metro and Bus stops right next to the hotel in case you don't want to walk.

Staff is marvelous. Common area overlooks the square, is beautifully appointed, the breakfast was ample and delicious. Our bedroom and bathroom were much larger than I expected. The location was superb. It was an easy walk to many different neighborhoods. One note of caution: if your room overlooks the square, it can get noisy.
The view from our balcony was so magnificent, it completely made up for noise coming through the windows from the square.

Breakfast very nice, staff helpful with recommendations, taxis and shuttles. Location is excellent in Baixa neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and shopping opportunities outside hotel doors. Tip: you are close to the Rossio train station to Sintra and to a car rental agency (OK Mobility) is located in walking distance!
An older building, so bathrooms are small. For a “senior citizen” the shower/tub is difficult to enter and exit and no shower curtain so water can spray into the room. You must carry your luggage up 6 steps at the entry and then you can reach the elevator to the 1st floor where the reception is located.

I loved the decor, it was charming. The staff was kind and attentive to our needs. The property’s location is conveniently located near the metro station, offering ample access to shopping and dining establishments.
I thoroughly enjoyed the property and would certainly consider staying there again.

I liked the room, the view to the main square. The room was quiet even though theere were a lot of people enjoying the night. Breakfast was very good. The staff was very kind and helpful.
I did'nt like the entrance to the hotel, you have to climb a few stairs before reaching the elevator to the reception. The room was a little too small, but I knew that in advance so no big deal.
