The location was great. In the historic center of Porto, at a walking distance of many attractions.
Several places to eat nearby, and easily accessible by public transport. Furthermore, an uber from the airport was just 10 euros. The staff was very, very nice!
It's a bit old infrastructure. It has it charm, and it's clean and well maintained. but the room was a bit noisy (particularly around 7:00 when some kind of generator start to work).

The reception area toilets are mixed , so a gents urinal on the wall & a ladies cubical beside it. My wife opened the door to be greeted by a man using the urinal & had to squeeze past him to get to the cubical, she said if she wasn't so busting after out 3 hour drive she would have waited ,but could not .
It's 2025 Mr hotel owners , please , make this one sex or the other. We would never use you again . Rooms very dated , the hole experience at staying at this hotel was head & shoulders the winner for the worst one we stayed at on our 12 day visit to Portugal, so many nice hotels but yiu let Portugal down .

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The reception staff were kind, polite, and always helpful, which made check-in and any questions very easy. The room we stayed in was small, but there are options to book larger rooms if needed. Since we are not big-sized people, the room was perfectly fine for us and very functional.
The room was complete with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is also an option to leave your baggage in an open storage area; it felt safe, although it does rely a bit on trusting other guests.
One of the hotel’s biggest advantages is its excellent central location. It’s within walking distance of most major attractions, the Christmas market, and the metro station, which made getting around extremely convenient. Overall, a great choice for travelers who value location and friendly service.
the floorboards make squeaky noises, and you can hear them from inside your room. At night, light sleepers may also be awakened by noise from outside.

The lady at reception when we arrived very late in the day could not have been more friendly and helpful This made our only too short visit to Oporto an extremely happy one. The atmosphere at the well situated hotel was comfortable and welcoming. Thank you for the great service.

Didn't see breakfast. Walked a block to a near by bakery/breakfast place. The beds were comfy. Shower and sink we're large and really nice. LOVED the stained glass ceiling and spiral staircase, really cool brass bells hanging from ceiling in hallways. They gave us a voucher for dinner but we went to a nice restaurant 2 block walk on the second story.
THE PARKING GARAGE was literally impossible to get to. We ended up parking 2 blocks away and dragging our luggage. Tried getting through to the hotel for directions asked 2 people on the street too. Front desk told us it's kinda "behind and a block over". With all the one ways, we went through the tunnel twice and around. Second night we stayed elsewhere.

Besides the excellent location, this hotel offers fantastic value. It has the most powerful shower I’ve had in a hotel for a long time, and super comfortable bed. Good size and lots of storage. Breakfast is plentiful and staff are lovely.
At face value, it’s a little tired decor, though in keeping with the age of the building. But the flooring in the bedroom does warrant replacement.

Actually the only thing that I did not like is that it was noicy. I could hear the next room guests talking very clearly and you can here people from above walking..so in the night time, well you need ears' plugs. :(
