It is located really close to center, Hop on Hop off bus in front of the hotel, a few min walking distance to the metro. Hotel room was ok but simplistic. Nice prices in the hotel bar especially in happy hours.
our room was facing street hence it was quite loud and we had to close the window especially in the early morning, but that is the price you pay if you select hotel in the center of the city :).

He gave us a lot if foot towels and I placed the garbage to catch the leak until morning. In the morning, I told the housekeeping staff and they called the maintenance man and he fixed the leak right away.
The 2nd day, the toilet didn' flush! The maintenance man came and fixed it.
I wish they would check every room fir any problems and not wait for guests to discover them. I know they told me that they were fully booked and couldn't move us to another room.

The location of this hotel is great, right in the center of Porto near both metro and overground train stations. The room was relatively clean.
First of all, this is a very old building and is in desperate need of a remodel, which is NOT reflected in the photos on Booking. com. Upon check in, we received two twin beds instead of one full/queen as requested, but when we inquired about this issue were told this was a "better" room so we opted to keep it. While the room itself was a decent size, it felt cramped by extra furniture and a large support pole in the middle requiring careful navigation in the dark. The curtains in the room were old and stained, the shower was a very high-sided, slippery bathtub with an insufficient splash guard, and the main table with the TV and lamp was sagging so much that we thought it might collapse. We heard significant noise from above, like sliding chairs/furniture very early in the morning, despite being on the 4th floor. The windows have no screens so when we opened them for fresh air, mosquitoes came in and bit us all night. And though this is not the fault of the hotel, I'd feel remiss if I didn't mention that Porto has a LOT of construction going on right now, so there was significant noise from outside each morning. All things considered, the great location made it a decent home base for our stay in Porto, but we would definitely not choose this hotel again, nor recommend it to others.

Location is good, in the center. But remember that Porto is constantly changing ups and downs, so proximity on the map does not mean easy access. For example, the train station is very close, but much lower.
To the left there is a shopping street, to the right - to the Cathedral and the bridge.
Our room was comfortable and had a balcony overlooking the square.
The staff was attentive and helpful.

I really liked the location, it's in the center of Porto near the metro station, so everything is in walkable distance. The room was clean and the size was really good. Also the view from the room was really good.
The staff was polite and friendly.
The bathroom had a bad strange smell, definitely needs something like a renovation to be done there. Tiny leakage in the shower. I would probably like to have the option to have more light in the room. Without that bathroom issue I would go again.

The hotel is very well positioned right within central Porto, don't think you can get any better being able to get everywhere by walk. Personnel is always present and supportive. Breakfast is good
Rooms are o bit old style and not 100% silent during night due to the central position in Batalha square.

The location was excellent.
The breakfast was great.
Comfy bed.
Lighting in the room was very poor...desk lamps and one little ceiling light in an alcove next to the bathroom.
Tea bags were not refilled.
Although stated they had them, there were no maps at reception.
Reception staff could have been friendlier and more helpful.

Everything was nice. The breakfast was great!
The mattress felt just a bit declined (from use) towards one side, which made for a bit of an angled sleeping position. But it was no biggie.
