We loved the place!
Me, my wife, and 2.5 Year old Baby were staying here our first time in Porto. The rooms are exceptional and clean, they staff super friendly especially Ana Sofia and Francisca, both were super accomedating and very helpful in anything we needed. They made our stay in Porto amazing and we will definitly be back. After our expereince here I don't want to stay in any other place except for the Sheraton. The staff here are a model of what a 5 start hotel should be like. If I could I would give the place a 10 out of 10.
BTW the breakfast and dinner is awesome with a ton of variety and friendly staff as well. During the day the have a snack bar and sometimes they have live music in the bar.

Staff in both restaurant (evening) and bar were extremely unhelpful. Were not able to enter the bar as it was full but was not even greeted nor given alternative options. No explanation about the room, didn’t even know we could open a window till we were leaving and accidentally opened the blinds instead of switching on a light.
No rapport with staff. Was told we would be charged a €5 room service fee when we asked for milk.
Extremely slippery shower tray and bathroom - slid across the floor when coming out of the shower. Thankfully no damage done to myself (or property!)
Shocked to discover a further charge of €20 would be made if using the pool considering the hotel cost €220 per night! We had booked a hotel with pool deliberately as we had just been walking the Camino Trail for 14 days and were exhausted.
No offer of water while waiting for our taxi.

One of the best hotels we stayed at. We stayed at a nice and comfortable suite on the top floor. There's a large balcony and large bathroom. Everything looked clean and fresh. Fresh fruits served on our arrival. Very tasty breakfasts, a nice restaurant/bar with a good choice of food, an absolutely fabulous spa - one of the best in the class - and finally, very friendly and professional staff.

The breakfast wasn't too bad, but it didn't have a lot of varieties in my opinion. I believe there could have been more varieties with the cakes, including boiled eggs, beans to the breakfast option wont be a bad idea as well.
But all in all if was a fabulous experience will definitely recommend.

I had to change rooms in the middle of the night because of a loud noise coming from the a/c vent. I complained to the front-desk and the clerk went to my room to check the noise, and agreed to change rooms. However, I had to move all my stuff by myself in the middle of the night, and he did not offered to help me.

Additionally, I was surprised to learn that access to the spa required an extra fee, despite the hotel being advertised as a “spa hotel.” This felt misleading and diminished the overall value of the stay.
I hope the management takes this feedback into account to improve the guest experience.

Rooms are good size especially with children . Car parking facilities are underground . Little pricey but available .
On first night when checked into the room there was a welcome port wine and 4 pasties de nata . Lovely touch and what I expected from Porto as I stayed in other hotels in Porto before .
They only gave one Porto wine and there was two adults and a child . They should have given two glasses port wine and something like soft drink for our child . I did complain next day and they put two port wine glasses , 6 pasties de nata but no soft drink for our child . To improve they need check each reservation and accommodate for them . For the personal touch . My child was deeply upset
Also for tea and coffee they had only two cups and two glasses . Again I had to ask for three cups and glasses .
The mini bar system is different compared to their competitors . They give you mini bar if you ask at reception what you want in there and they put it in and charge you . Rather than stocking the mini bar and you take what you want and they charge at checkout. . I strongly feel the hotel doesn’t trust their guests . To improve to have mini bar always stocked and charge at end not at the beginning . As you don’t know what you will have . The swimming pool is not included . It’s around 20 euro per person for 24 hours . Kids are free under 12 but are restricted to use 1pm-4pm . Not ideal if you using the hotel to sight see in Porto in the day time . I understand the hotel doesn’t want kids running around spoiling other guests experience . As the guests that use Sheraton be a certain type of person I would expect the kids be too . Therefore to improve they need give children access throughout the day which helps guests do their sight see in day and later to relax in the swimming pool . Good example that caters for children is Pastana group :)
I have concluded the hotel doesn’t really take into account for families based on the welcome experience , requesting a cup and glass for my child and the swimming pool facilities .
Maybe if you’re a business traveller this is perfect . .

Unfortunately my room wasnt clean.My bad was stained.İ also show the pictures to the reception and they just told me sorry.
The other thing is that i made my payment on booking.When i checkout the staff wants me the total payment but i explained him the payment done.They didnt believe me and they took the money from my card again.After they sent me a mail and they are said again sorry it was our mistake and we are cancelling the 2.payment.İts Sheraton but i think reception staff dont have experience.İts not a good customer relation.

I gave the hotel a 7/10 because of 2 things. The first thing is not being able to use the pool with my child. They have a rule that kids can't use the pool from 1-7pm.
Second, I was accidentally billed over 80 Euros for room service that I didn't incur. The front desk staff made me wait about 20 minutes at the front desk during check-out to make sure it wasn't my charge.
