WOW THE BREAKFAST!! I was unsure that the value matched the price point until I saw that breakfast buffet. If you like air conditioning and breakfast (and if you have a lot of money) then this is your place!!
It was peak season and the town was very full of vacationers, so I understand that prices may have been inflated... but I'm not quite sure the accommodations were worth what I paid.

Definitely close to the centre of Bled so easy to walk and explore the town. Enjoyed our view of the lake very much. You pay for the location and definitely fine for a 2-3 night stay. Good breakfast!! Parking included but on a first come, first served basis. Ended up only paying for parking off site for one night.
Unfortunately you can tell that the room facilities are a bit older and not so well looked after. The airconditioner (which is a necessity in August) was VERY dusty and not functioning very well. In addition the coffee machine was dirty with mold growing in the water reservoir. I will say that the hotel received my note of these issues with grace and I hope that they will have attended to it by now :)

The hotel is well located to walking around Lake Bled and to restaurants. There are views from the rooms, some better than others. The breakfast is excellent with a large variety of items.
I would have liked more attention to cleaning as a portion of the wall connected to the large patio door was black with mildew. It was very difficult to operate the air conditioning and had to leave the patio door ajar through the night. I was not able to sit out on the balcony as the patio door was too heavy to slide. The light over the desk was not operating, needing a light bulb.

The common facilities were quite luxurious. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. The attached restaurant was also very welcoming and the food was delicious.
The shower was so small that I couldn't turn around without hitting the antiquated temperature control, resulting in scalding or freezing water. The bathroom smelled of sewage. Although billed as a view of the lake, the view was mostly of all the other buildings between the hotel and the lake.

Rooms are bigger than average, and has a lot of light even during winter. Great spa onsite.
Breakfast is various and good quality. Lake is very close on foot, and the “centre” as well.
Rooms are a bit outdated, would need a renovation.
They haven’t good as much parking spaces as rooms, sometimes you have to park at their partner hotel.
During the busiest times, it happened that there weren’t any parking places none of the hotels, so we had to proceed to a paid parking garage, which was quite far and made the day uncomfortable.

Staff was friendly, I was traveling with a pet so the hotel had left a bowl, bed and treats for my dog it was a very nice gesture. The room was very clean, I liked that they had slippers and robes in the room. Beds were comfortable and there were 2 types of pillows to choose from. Breakfast was excellent so many options, lots of vegan and gluten free options as well.
We got the lake view rooms, but we were on the 2nd floor and the view was obstructed by the shopping plaza in front of the hotel, view from the rooms on the photos looks way better than in real life.

We stayed at Hotel Kompass as Lovec was temporarily closed. Great location to the lake & bus stop, slight uphill walk. Front desk personnel was very helpful, he gave us tips on where to hike to see the island. The pool facilities & breakfast were amazing- definitely a better class above. We unfortunately had an older room which had no Aircon, just a fan. While it DID have a lake view, though, it also overlooked. a busy main road which made things quite noisy. The location was great, and I was upgraded to a room with a lake view and balcony with seating. It is very central to everything. The room had a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. All staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good and not too busy. The pool looked good, although I didn't use it.
The room itself was a little dated, and it could do with an upgrade. It felt a bit cold and clinical. The mattress dipped in the middle and was high on both sides, needs replacing.

We paid the half pension option with dinner included unfortunately nobody explained us that dinner was at another hotel (Kompass) buffet style until 8:30 pm, we arrived just before closure time and personal didn't want to work anymore, it was difficult to order some paid beverages. Personnel was having dinner at the buffet.

The location is wonderful, right up the hill from the lake and many restaurants in the area. The room was a good size for a family of 4 and bathroom was well appointed. Pool was very kid friendly, which we were nervous about from the pictures as it looks quite nice. Breakfast had a lot of variety. Hotel staff was very kind and parking available out front. I wish we could have tried the Thai massage but with kids, that's difficult to coordinate.
Only complaint is the saunas were not working but might have been user error.

We selected this property after a different Booking host was a no-show. We loved the family suite which provided privacy for both travelers. The master suite had a small terrace with an outstanding view of Lake Bled and the island. Staff were courteous and friendly. The complimentary breakfast had numerous choices and was relaxing to eat while sitting on the outdoor patio. Very good restaurant on-site. Everything was in walking distance including bars, restaurants and even a nearby laundromat

The staff was extremely rude (pointed us to the wrong elevator, made rude comments when we asked about the lack of parking), there was very limited parking (even though it says it’s included, when the 10 spots were full they tried to get us to pay 25 euro a night), the room was not clean (there was dirt and hair left on the floors), and the view of the lake view room was primarily of a strip mall. Would not recommend especially for the price!

The hotel was right by the lake- we could see it from our balcony. Parking was easy.
The windows were impossible to open! We finally had one of the housekeeping staff help us and after that my friend was able to manage it. I was never able to.

Bled location is beautiful. Surrounding area has numerous good hiking trails.
Lake view room provided a small look at the lake. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Shower is very tight and it is very easy to change the water temperature from freezing to scalding in the blink of an eye.

The room was very nice and there was a pretty good view of the lake from the balcony. The location was good with a short walk to the lake and many restaurants. The breakfast was wonderful!
The bath soap/shampoo was not very good so we needed to buy our own. The staff was not particularly friendly

Nice location with a view of Bled Island. Comfortable beds. Great food and service in the Grill. Great service in the Pub and good simple bites to eat.

Hotel Lovec is clean and in a good location for exploring around Lake Bled. We also enjoyed the restaurant on site as well as the breakfast selection.
The room was too hot and there was no way to lower the temperature other than opening the window which then left us with the very loud street noise below us. The bathroom was very small and awkward the shower bathtub a bit of a high step up.

The location is superb! Just 3 minutes walk from the lake. The bed is extremely comfortable, we could barely get up in the morning! Breakfast was rich and varied, everything was available and delicious.
The pool and saunas were neat and good quality.
The staff was pretty friendly and professional. Shout out to Amel :)
I'd say there is a light missing. The main part of the room was not well lit and I suppose there should have been a light because there was a switch that wasn't doing anything. Maybe the bulb or the switch needs to be replaced.
