I liked the small car park at the front of the Hotel.
The Breakfast and table layout in the morning were very professional.
The decor of the Hotel was very nice.
The Staff were very helpful and friendly.
It would have been good to have a re-cycle bin in the hotel room.
and perhaps an iron and ironing board.

Location perfect as out of the way of main town but close enough to walk and enjoy all the sites, restaurants and harbour. Garden and swimming pool lovely and fantastic to have a balcony overlooking the pool area. Staff friendly and good breakfast.
May be a few more options for breakfast, such as fish or porridge and may be some pastries.

Superb location, lovely proprietors who were very helpful and made us feel at ease. Excellent value for money (two single beds) , I usually go to four/five stars hotels but felt very relaxed and happy at this one which has fewer stars.
For the money, I really could not complain about anything. One of the single beds near the window could do with a better mattress but that is all and I slept like a dream.

Really welcoming staff, great location with lovely view. Had refreshing dip in the pool. Just a 10-15 minute walk from the beach, harbour and restaurants.
This is a traditional hotel - rooms are well equipped, but don’t expect all mod cons.

Location was great for the sea and harbour and some nearby restaurants though the steep hill might put some off. Torquay is a good location to visit surrounding beauty spots and places of interest and leaflets available in the foyer
The hosts were really welcoming and accommodating serving us breakfast on the patio as my husband was Covid anxious. Advised me to chain my bike next to the front door so not visible from road and always around to help.
Bed very comfortable, room spotless and modern with large mirrors.
Breakfast was very substantial and a surprise as it was not included with the Booking.com package.
Standing under a cold shower after being in the outdoor swimming pool for over 5 mins until it warmed up perhaps because we were on the top floor
Instant coffee at breakfast and no fresh fruit.
A chain smoker on the linked balcony - I booked a balcony for cool fresh air, sea breezes and the view!

Breakfast was good! Staff were kind and lovely.
All was good! However I was very disappointed with booking.com for messing up our reservations. Thank goodness the hosts were amazingly kind and thoughtful, they rectified the situation.
I must say that we felt like we wanted to stay for another few days. Never felt like that after staying at a hotel and I can assure you we have stayed at several hotels in our time (4 in the last 4 weeks - including those of truly high standards).
We had 2 teenagers with us and they are keen to return also.

Nethway is half way between being a B&B and being a hotel. The proprietors are on hand, very friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable with a TV, coffee maker etc. When the hotwater finally came through my shower was good. The bar was available all day but no food. It's a short walk to restaurants etc. and a good location for exploring Torquay generally.
The outside seating area is well lit in the evening and a nice place to sit out. The pool is a bit chilly for anyone less than hardy.
Breakfast was good - served between 8.30 and 9.30 with cereals, full English toats & marmalade/jam etc.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The pool was a nice feature, although the water was freezing. Room was comfortable and basic for just somewhere to sleep
The shower, low pressure meant it was like showering in a sprinkler. Also, the temperature control didn't work adequately - it was either very cold or very hot.
