The room was very small and too warm (very, very warm!) and the sound of ‘flushing’ several times an hour suggested than either another guest had a huge problem or there’s an issue with the plumbing! It kept my partner awake for most of the night.

I stayed for three nights, and everything I needed was provided within my budget. The staff was also very kind, which made my stay even better.
When closing the room door from the outside, I had to use some force, and it made a loud noise. I was concerned that this might disturb guests in nearby rooms, especially at night. It would be great if this could be improved.

This place is British hospitality perfection. Dog friendly hotel. There was a dog at breakfast and it was the perfect ice breaker for us all to start chatting to each other in the breakfast room. The breakfast was fabulous, I was so full afterwards. My room was very basic, no frills but I did get it for a very reasonable price. I had a great sleep. The lady I spoke to at breakfast seamed to have a much fancier room (paid more) so something for everyone here. I used the leisure centre facilities, v nice but a 12 min drive away so you must have a car. I would definitely come back if I was to return to Windermere.

Very helpful staff, allowed us to check in earlier, room was small but comfortable, there were plenty of amenities. Great service at breakfast, good selection of food, even offered us vegan sausages, everything was fresh and tasty.
Very thin walls, we could hear next door guests conversation, their snoring in the night, got woken up around 4AM because they were rummaging about. Plumbing was a bit dodgy - water was randomly coming out of the shower drain.

The hotel was clean and warm throughout our stay.
The staff were extremely friendly and exceptionally helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.There was a generous amount of complimentary tea and coffee plus biscuits in the room.The breakfast was wholesome with lots of choice with hot and cold food available. There was ample car parking. The hotel is on the main road and easy to access by car and public transport which is virtually on the door step.
It is very close to Windermere Village and a ten minute walk away from Bowness On Windermere.
Our stay was fabulous value for money and we really appreciated our lucky find on Booking.com.
We will be back in the future.
There was nothing that we didn't like about the hotel.

I chose this place for the parking facility and free breakfast. I was mighty impressed by this breakfast - very filling with a choice of hot and cold - as you'd have it at home - ideal for a family and if you are planning a long day of walks. The best I've experienced in the Lakes so far. The location was ideal for access to buses and nearby walking trails.. I would recommend it. Staff were available when required. We didn't really use the drawers and wardrobe, etc, as we were out most of the day. Great overall.

Very old and outdated.bath was broken and leaked everywhere..plug had to be taken out with a spoon. No overflow.very hot and stuffy in room.no fridge. visitors were using the showers as toilets.The smell of marijuana from staff was absolutely horrendous and stunk the whole place out .staff smoking constantly and cigarette ends all in the back yard.place was rough and was told by management whole area was rough and not safe to walk about at night.glad to leave

One of the two rooms was good size and the other one was small. Room and bathroom were clean. There is a kettle but no refrigerator. Breakfast was not bad but not worthy for Muslims.
Rude staff who identified himself as the manager. He refused to hold our bag before check in but in a non pleasant manner. This policy was non consistent because we noticed one day that they hold bags for other guests. We felt some racism, I hope we got it wrong.

What a beautiful property Windermere Park is. I adored my room. It was in the attic, and had great character to it. The breakfast was always very well done, and the staff were fantastic, especially the manager, Helena. The B&B is in a prime location, 8 minute walk from the train station, a few minutes walk into the village Centre, 15 minute walk to Lake Windermere, and a 20 minute down to the harbour, and where the boat/ferry rides are.
